If they are in a pharmacy dispensed bottle which exposes them to the elements, then the expiration date would have been a year from when you received them. After that, they don't get dangerous, but they do begin to lose efficacy.

However, what you should be aware of is that all medications containing Propoxyphene were pulled from the market, due to the risk it causes of cardiac dangers.
