Updated

I would like to know of any side effects others may have experienced after receiving Prolia infusions. Up to now I have none.

Pood, I forgot to say that I hope you get some more calcitonin, and me too if it is safe for me. I hope your neck treatment goes well. I was having terrible back pain for 2 months but for some reason the last two weeks or so it is getting better thank god. Also my whole elbow/arm/shoulder was messed up- my doc thinks it's an impinged nerve. But even that is getting better a bit now. I use heat and tens every night. For a while I couldn't wear my bras and had to buy really loose ones but even they hurt. today I wore one of my regulars and it was ok. Right now my reflux is very bad so I had to go back on acid blockers. I hope it resolves soon. I'm already such a wreck I can only imagine what prolia would have done to me... killed me probably. And I have hyperparathyroid already so why would they even suggest that with all my other health issues. It's crazy.

Kitty~I hate to be nosey but what is going on after over 2 years post injection One. I'm very much afraid that Canadian has passed away from 1 injection of Prolia. Last time she was here was with a broken femur in her 4th month post first and only injection and no previous meds.

My Dr. is nuts and I know it. She says that stem cells don't work period. She was the one that had me on Prednisone for 10-20mg/day for one solid year that ruined my bones and she was the one that pushed me into Prolia for which she deeply apologized. Apology accepted but I don't trust her as far as I can throw her. I have actual proof that I can have her license taken away at my will. Just biding my time. I get my pain meds there and every 3 months I get my shoulder injected and that's where I get my arthritis med. It's not to where it needs to be replaced. It just makes using my right arm difficult and painful especially since I don't have much in the way of hips and knees at present. She is the only one in the whole State so I have to put up with her.

My Grandpa was a very intelligent man and he said: "Stay away from doctors and lawyers." Never went to one in his life and the only time my Grandma went to a Dr. was when she got shingles and at that time there was zero anyone could do.

I just joined you on the other place where people can ask about Prolia. I invited them all here so they can find out the real truth and I wrote quite a lengthy bad report on Prolia at that place. If that doesn't keep them away from it, they deserve what they get. I had not posted there in months and had to get a new password, etc. Thank you for being there. The more we can say, the better people will be. Pood

Skitty, docs are telling me the arising of hyperparathyroid and calcium climbing in blood is not from Prolia. Never had this pre Prolia.

Poodle, just reading in entirety this post. Perhaps arthritis agravated by Prolia? I too had terrible pain in shoulder after a few weeks into injection. I had to hold arm over head while driving and hold on to a handle above. It left but still a bit sore to touch after the radiofrequency procedure. Prolia has, such a wide range of devastation. I can't bring myself to go back to doctor as I dont want to be pushed. But will have to go soon for calcium check. Have you tried accupuncture?

Pood you are strong to keep going to that doc and sit in the same room and not strangle her! I hope canadian is ok, is there a way to contact her? Your grandfather has a good idea. unfortunately with all my conditions now I have to go to them to stay alive. ugh.

Thanks Skittles - glad you didn't take. With your existing conditions could have really caused some trouble I fear.

Thank you Poodle. Which of the "other sites" did you go to and what is your name on that one? I will go there and read your posts. So glad you understand. Thank you again.

Hello all, it's been 14 months since my last injection. I was taking prednisone until late December . I tried several times to get off of it and each time the symptoms returned. I had crippling stiffness and pain. Also a red raised rash and blisters .
This time I thought it was finally gone. No symptoms for 3 months. It began again in mid March. Dr gave me a steroid shot and a prednisone prescription. Fixed me right up until they wore off. I'm seeing a Rheumatologist today. I think that the Prolia has messed up my immune system so badly that I probably have RA. I am just waiting to have it confirmed. RA is incurable auto immune disorder.
I too live in Michigan. I have done the FDA, Amgen, Stabenow, and everything else
Like you, no response and no help.

Skittie~it definitely depends on the brand - organic works but regular normal brands are like a glass of OJ. Pood

Does anyone know how to get results of the Dollars for Docs that show payments After December 2014? Also, hi Pood. Wondering which other site you went to in order to see comments. I would like to read yours on that site as well. Thanks for any info.

C Louise, It is one that you had already posted on having to do with health. I had posted previously last summer that it gave me Celiac Disease. Doesn't seem like many look there. You, me, a lady named Judy and another person. I just directed all of them here where we get into the nitty gritty of Prolia. It has my real name but I tell them who I am here. Any recollections now? Pood

Oh no Judy! Had you been on this site before you got the injection? Please keep us all posted. I hope you let your doctor know and I hope you insist to him that he reports all of your side effects to both amgen and the FDA. so sorry.

Sheri~which immunoglobbin was off? I cannot believe ALL of them were low or how low is low is another question! That would indicate you have many autoimmune diseases that are not cured with a dose. Actually, if iGa is low, it would kill you if that had any A in it. I'm very confused by your post. I'm very glad someone checked them because they should be checked when a person is on Prolia. Different ones cause different problems. Did you get a copy of the report? You should have. Please tell me exactly what your test showed. I'm getting worried here!! If Igg were the one that's low and causing problems it can be added to the human body without problems. IgA cannot. This is biology 101A. Worried~Pood

Are Sher and Sheri two different people or the same person? I'm getting confused. There is a legal suit but and it's a big but, you have to have ONJ, or the broken thigh bone or very large hospital bills. It doesn't give the name of the firm or firms involved just lawyers and settlements. It is a lot like reporting to the FDA. You tell them your problems with Prolia and if they like what you wrote you are accepted by only God knows whom and if not they will send you an email. There is also a guy in NC with the last name of Lamb. I have no idea what his requirements are or if he is even still accepting victims.

Sheri~thank you. She is the one who had all the immunoglobulin tests done and is supposedly getting a bag of plasma. I just saw Sher and my mind went straight to you. I will have to be much more careful in my replies now. So glad it's not you!! As you know, I care deeply about those that come here seeking knowledge, help and just letting it all out. Thank you again~Pood

Thank you Pood for giving all us your knowledge and help, it is so great to come here and have people understand what we are going through. Nobody knows unless they have been there. Love, Sheri
