I am 67 and had light spotting a couple of times so went to doctor for check up. All was normal. He prescribed the medroxypr PC 10 mg tab for 14 days and when I stop it let him know if it makes me start me start a period. Reading all the notes - why would he me something to make me start - He said it would stop me from spotting. At this point I've been having a period for about 10 days (fairly heavy) with no signs of stopping. Will this finally stop on its own? ## Hello, Nett! How are you? My last period was 27/03/15 but on 6/05/15 blood-like gel came out two times in two days. Then I consulted my dr who suggested that I take dubagest 100 twice 21/05-30/05, but on 27/05 at 5pm my period started. What should I do? Can I continue treatment or do I need to stop taking dubagest? ## My last menstruation was on May 6th 2015, but in June i have not had my menstruation. My menstruation is gone. I have not had intercourse within the last two months. ## You should follow your doctor's dosing instructions and continue to take it as long as they've told you to do so. My mother had stopped her periods before 2 years.She is 54 now and now bright red bleeding occured since 4 days.Bleeding like 4 th day of normal periods.Is this abnormal?What will do for this? ## Hi I had the same problem.doctor prescribed progesterone . I had periods after a gap of 2 months. I started with little bleeding. Flow got heavier and with clots as days proceeded. I am using ETOSYS on advice by doctor since 10 days. Hi, I had my third c section on October 16th, bled heavily, as I had after my other two births, then it stopped. My period started on xmas eve and has continued ever since, and I'm still bleeding, all different days, heavy, then it almost stopped, then clots, different colours, I had a scan done before Xmas due to my uterus being very high at my six week check, this scan was clear, They had suspected retained products but this was since ruled out. My doctor put me on primolut and two antibiotics for two weeks, but the bleeding continues, They have now decided it's 'hormonal' and put me back on primolut for the next 3 months, on a one a day dosage.
