I stopped taking a low dose of birth control in April of 2013. I have not had a period since. I am experiencing extreme hot flashes and feel horrible. After seeing the gynecologist ten days ago I was put on 200 mg of progesterone nightly. Blood work and an ultra sound later I was told 5 days into taking progesterone that I was most likely in menopause. I was also given estrogen gel to apply daily to my inner thighs. No relief of hot flashes. I now am swelling retaining water and have this horrific metal taste in my mouth as well as headaches body aches and crying. I already take levothyroxine for thyroid, Wellbutrin for anxiety/depression and pain relief. In addition to these meds I had to take prescription strength prylosec for acid reflux that began the day after beginning the .1 of estrogen gel. Please help. I'm only 41 and I would rather be back on birth control again to help control my periods than feel like I have been for the past five days. I am now supposed to take 100 mg of progesterone with estrogen beginning tomorrow. Help1

Hi I am 28 year old I just missed my period so after check up by doctor pregnancy test is negative she consult me progesterone soft capsule 2000 mg I have completed taking this capsule it was for 5 day but still I haven't got my period and I am also getting symptoms of pregnancy so please help me that I am pregnant or not and after having capsule when I wll get my period

I am taking progesterone 50 and 100 pills I wanted to know how long it will come out of my system and I was also taking the sublingo strips to 50-100 and I wanted to know if there's any side effects to these hormones and I wanted to know if there's any form of steroids in these pills because I am allergic to steroid any form so can any one help me with these answer:( thank you out there

I started using these tablets on Monday because I have a cyst in my breast that was caused by a birth control (sprintec) because of its lack of progesterone. I only used Sprintec for two weeks about two months ago and stopped. My period was supposed to come Sunday (last month it was 4 days early and 2 days longer, so still effects of Sprintec) and Monday is when I started using these pills. The doctor has me breaking the pills and applying the inside on my breast where the cyst is, not taking it orally. My period is now 5 days late. Is it because of the protesterone? Is my period not going to come until I'm done with the pill/cream? I'm on a 14 day supply and I really don't want a pregnancy scare unnecessarily. Is this normal?? Thank you!
