Private Methadone Doctors In Texas

Can anyone please help me!!! I need to find a private doctor in tyler or dallas texas that prescribes methadone. I cant make it to the clinic everyday and I need help with my opiate addiction. I found suboxone doctors but they are too expensive. Please help

I'm sorry, but for addiction treatment, a clinic is your only option. It would be illegal for a private doctor to prescribe it for you. It is only allowed to be given in a clinical setting by those that are specially trained in its use.

The FDA classifies this medication as an opiate, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation.

I wish I had better news for you, but I'm afraid this is the way it stands right now, throughout the U.S.

I know there are doctors that can prescribe it they just have to have a licence like doctors that prescribe siboxn o I just need to find out the name

Hey Sherri have you found a dr yet? I'm not sure about the methadones. But I found a sub dr in Tyler. I just moved here. He's a good dr. It was 310 the first visit. I had a dr in Ohio so they said I was a transfer. Anyhow it's expensive the 1st visit but after that it's only 155. So Not to bad. Hope this helps ya.

Hi I m going to a clinic in McKinney Texas I'm on 58 mgs now and wanted to come down more because I have COPD and am having problems with breathing .When I told them I wanted to lower my dose every one seem to get upset and are giving me a big Hassel about it . I spoke to my consuler and she told me it was to early and I has signed on for 9 months before I could star lowering my dose so I told her to show me where I had sign on for 9 months and she told me it must have been misplaced because she couldn't find it . And had me sign to finilly lower my dose well I signed to lower my dose 2 mds every 2 weeks now the nurse said I have to fill the paperwork again and have to do it every time I want to reduce my dose .My question is why am I having so much trouble with them .Theirs no problem if I want to keep going up in my dose .What can I do please I need help

I was on Suboxone for a little white it's hell Methadone is much better .Hope you find one soon I to am looking for one in Dallas, Plano , McKinney
