I use pregabalin for diabetic neuropathy but it is also a wonder drug for frozen shoulder. Infact I could not sleep at night due to pain on my shoulder but pregabalin blocks that pain. ## I think it's great you found a medication that kills two birds with one stone! Mecobalamin or Vitamin B12 is supposed to be great for neuropathic related conditions, so I'd say you are on the right track in so far as taking this with pregabalin. If you don't mind me asking, what type of diabetes are you battling (type 1 or 2)? I would strongly recommend looking up info on the scientific evidence that Diabetes type 2 is caused by an excess of fat (not sugar) in the bloodstream, which then causes unstable blood glucose levels, an over-production of insulin,

I'm on 600mg Lyrica. But don't feel the effects. I'm diagnosed by Neurologist as having Chronic Daily Headache What's wrong with the meds? ## Lyrica is not actually a straight analgesic, like a narcotic or NSAID, so you are not going to feel the same effects, as you would from something such as Oxycodone, or Acetaminophen, which are straight analgesics. Lyrica contains the active ingredient Pregabalin, which is actually an anticonvulsant and, by the very way it works on brain chemicals, it has also been shown to help with some forms of nerve pain. However, not being a straight analgesic, it's not going to have the same effects that they do and it doesn't work as fast, it actually takes about 4 to 6 weeks to reach its full efficacy in your body.
