Possible Fake Teva 834 Klonopin (Page 2) (Top voted first)

I just got 2mg klonopin with TEVA on 1 side and 834 on the other. I know they make them with this imprint, but when I took it and it didn't taste very minty. It tasted like nothing really, just powdery. I'm worried they might be counterfeit klonopins out of something weird. Does klonopin always taste noticeably minty? What's the possibility that these are bad?

Call the pharmacy and ask if they gave you a different manufacturer than last fill. If you bought them illegally you should be grateful they’re not full of fentanyl.

thanks so much guys for the responses! this website is awesome! i did end up taking a .5mg chunk and it finally kicked in after like 2 hrs. usually doesnt take that long and i can usually taste the minty-ness of it, thats why i was concerned. but all is well now. thanks again guys!

Klonopins, even the generic Clonazepam generally have the same ingredients, each Pharmaceutical company with it's own chemical recipe. These processes are what make some work better than others. However, the fillers are the same.

FAKE ones, for instance, are made when someone makes their own pill press, maybe by using an epoxy or hot glue, slicing the glue in half, then press they re-formulates the pills with whatever they want, perfumes, added with mephedrone and bath salt contaminants, they usually contain a small amount of the drug.

Ex. Someone gets a script for 30 1mg Clonazepam, and make into as many as they can, let's say 30 into 90, pretty much what comes out of their goo. (turning a 1mg tablet into a .3mg tablet) They wet them into a paste, use the perfumes, laxatives and powders along with blue food coloring, or blue/purple gelatin in order to keep them from breaking into dust. Let us say you get them illicitly, person is probably on crack and desperate for more cash. Normally you could get them on the 15th when they pick them up, but you have to wait two or three days. They are drying them.

They will smell per-fumy, usually look spotty or just wrong, powderize too easily, taste them to be certain.

Pills are made by pressing, however, this is Simply Logical, but conjecture.

I take pms-clonazepam. I have taken 0.5's which we're half the size of a dime, flat topped, scored and orange. With Clonazepam 0.5 pressed in. They we're kind of minty.
Now I take 1.0mg pills they are very small and round on both top and bottom with an edge around it. Pink pills with the press 1.0mg Clonazepam. These are very minty. I am pretty sure that Clonazepam has a minty flavor as the smaller pills with more active ingredient have a much stronger mint flavor.

hey bud teva 833's are 1mg clonazepams not .5's and usually only xanax is counterfeited especially the bars the name band print the greenstone and the gg249 have been pressed wish the xanax bars were colored makes it harder to press fakes

Yes I get them n some are minty when I eat them or I taste it upon swallowing. Some I don't. I know lots of 2mg Xanax can be made if I don't get them myself or go with the person I don't get them. I get 2mg yellows Xanax n I know a grocery store in NC that does have white Xanax 2mg gg 249.

Wait, I take clonazepam .5 generic for klonopin. You are supposed to put it under your tongue?? I always swallow mine when needed and wait for it to kick in. Usually 1/2 hour. This would be great if it works faster. I never tasted minty because I take it with a drink.

I think they're talking about that menthol taste that you get when you let them dissolve under your tongue. Do you know what im talking about? Its not really minty but more of a cool feeling almost like menthol

I’ve been on another brand of Clonazepam for years I’ve been taking 0.5mg 4x day that weee pink. Never noticed any taste whatsoever. I just picked up my script the other day and now it’s the TEVA yellow one and to me it leaves a really bad chemical taste. I don’t care for it at all. I hate when they switch brands. This happened with my Celexa too last month. I don’t feel like I’m getting the same affect as the other brands.

Lol right. I’ve noticed the same however I have crippling anxiety and agoraphobia so I NEED something to freaking work!! Dang lol these are all crap and sugar pills it’s almost 3am and I’m wide awake on a rather decent dose. Nothing major. Completely acceptable and accurate dose for an adult etc etc but even after my dose it barely works. Seems to just knock me out and then I’m up and down all night. It never used to be misery like it is now. I have Trouble leaving my house for like. Year and a half I believe this TEVA clonazepam is absolutely either fake or expired being that they were discontinued by the manufacturer in march of 2020 facts..

Of course Adderall overrides it. They cancel each other out. One is to calm you down one is to hype you up. You can't tell the true effects til you take it alone. Ppl use benzos to come off Adderall when they r crashing or other uppers

In the uk WEEDINOS in Wales does free pill analysis. True, they can fnd you with an email. Use duck duck go for info. Turn Google off! Done that 10 years ago. Be safe, try contact lots of facilities.

Adderall does not at all "override" the effects of a benzodiazapine. This is a pretty common misconception though. I recall back in high school and college kids taking certain pills to "counteract" the unwanted side-effects of the main drug they were taking, ie. Benzos to take the edge or jitteriness of a stimulant, stimulants to stay alert while on opioids or sedatives...but this does not mean that two drugs can somehow "cancel" one another out. This is absurd! You're still going to feel the effects of both drugs, but the side effects will be felt in varying degrees. And some drugs are strong enough that there's not much you can take that will help you manage it's side effects. Some opioids are strong enough that even taking it with a stimulant sometimes won't help you stay awake or keep you from nodding out on them (if you're still new to taking opioids).

I hope this clears up some misconceptions about drugs and the desire to take them together for this reason. Also taking two drugs together no matter what type of drug they both are, can be a dangerous thing to do. I wouldn't advise doing this until you are quite tolerant and acclimated to both medicines on their own! Use at your own risk!

I was prescribed 1mg Xanax for a couple years for panic attacks and anxiety. I recently started having seizures so they put me on 2mg Klonopin. It’s my first time picking em up from CVS and they were soft, no break line, white with Teva imprinted on one side and 834 on the other. They worked great and I’m very anxious and don't trust much, but all I can say is these worked just fine. (I actually fell asleep dissolving one under my tongue. It was like minty-nastiness, if that helps).

Where did you call I know this was years ago you wrote this but I’ve always had C2 and now on Teva and had issues with not controlling my anxiety to the point of having stress induced seizures. Had an old bottle from 3 months ago that had 2-3 left and they were C2 and I could taste the difference. I haven’t had my typical seizure it’s been more calm ones but it’s still dangerous.

Remember. Clono nor Xanax is for sleep. Xanax is quick acting short term. Clono is slow acting, long term. Then I was asked to take, Temazepan, which is also a benzo but for sleep. And it worked better.
