Please Help I Live In Ventura County California And Need A Doctor (Page 2)

I am 60 yr old female with Fibro since 1985. In January of 2011 I was diagnosed with MS and have severe leg pain (I need a walker to stand up). Since losing my job I am seeing a County Clinic Doctor who was giving me Vicodin ES 3x's/day. I told her once that I ran short due to breakthrough pain and she immediately cut me back to one regular vic a day!!!!!!! and gave me Elavil, Lyrica, Neurontin -- I am having so many side effects I don't know what meds are causing what........I need help, a liberal Doctor who will help me thru my daily pain. hello I have recently been put on medical and I have been taking Benzos and norcos for 3 years now but I am not sure of a medical doctor in ventura county that i can go to.. please let me know the name of the doctor or the phone number as i am almost out of my medication and need a refill and do not want to have to turn to the the streets.

Sue, try a Dr. HY he is in Rowland Heights ca.he treats pain pateints as long as you on the up and up about having pain. I have two more names of drs in Pomona ca. that treat pain also.

Sue I have a doctor that treats my pain that is in Rowland Heights Ca. His name is Dr. Adam Hy, he treats people with intractable pain(ie pain that can only be controlled with pain meds). There are two other dr,s that are in Pomona ca. that treats patients with the same kind of pain. mainly with opiate pain meds.I don't have their names in front of me at this time. Also there is a Dr. Forest Tenent that is in west covina that take patients that are in a emergency situation, you may try them.

I am also looking for a WORTHY and COMPASSIONATE, and PROFESSIONAL "opiod pain therapy management." There is no other form of therapy and Im sorry to hear your doctor only cares about her license and is literally prescribing you what we in the drug world call "PLACEBOS, and BULL**** medication"....she basically cut you off. Sounded like she was treated you bad anyways, because vicodin ES is not good, you want instant release and generally its safer without NSAIDS....the more knowledge you show, the more intimidated the doctors get. You AND I need to find a PAIN management doctor here in the area. Im Nick by the way. A lot of these doctors are corrupt and will just steal your copay and try to give you glorified aspirin....Im allergic to it...doctors dont care....they just think im a drug addict if I want the smartest and best pain killer, roxicodone. The epidemic are having is due to DOCTORS and the DEA. Opiods should be embraced and prescribed more freely and anyone suing a company for being addicted to their product is a scum bag ruining it for us good guys in true pain that need and want opiod therapy. contact me at {edited for privacy} we need to find a doctor

f100ford. I live in Pomona off 10FWY and Garey Ave. My DR. is prescribing me 60 Soma and 20mg of Oxycodone, and Ultram's for back pain and Fibro..but, she wants me to look for a Pain Management Dr. so, she can write me a Referral... How can I get the names of the 2 DR's in Pomona?? Thanks

FibroDrew, Here are the two Drs. that are in Pomona that are in a co-op type of thing to help people that have intractable pain. You need to use the phrase Intractable pain instead of chronic pain when trying to find the right Dr. to treat you. That is what these Drs. do is treat intractable pain patients. They and a couple of other Drs. out there were found by Dr Forest Tennent to treat people with intractable pain as he is getting older and found Drs. willing to keep treating itractable pain patients when he retires or worse. Google Dr. Tennent and you will find out all that he has done for us that suffer with pain. Dr. Tennent only see's people that are considerd an emergency and does alot of research on treating pain, and is well known for his efforts. By the way he is in West Covina Ca. Sorry for going on about him but he pretty much saved my life. The first one in Pomona is Dr. Martin J Porcelli D.O. Facof, 336 Ervilla st. Pomona Ca. 91767, (909) 629-1955. I only have the name of the other one, Lloyd Costello M.D Pomona Ca. you will have to google Dr. Costello for more info on him. You have to be a legit pain patient and have records to back up your injuries why you need pain meds. They check you out and your records when it comes to that as do most Drs. do. Good Luch and I hope one of them can help you.

Im new to ventura and have pretty bad combat PTSD/Anxiety. I have been taking ativan/clonopin for several years and have had no problems. Can you recommend a Dr. that is sympathetic to Benzos?

My mom has chronic pain in various places and has been on Methadone. She was displaced after her apt. caught on fire. She's lost all her medications and she had to live with me here, in another state. Can u please give me any and all information so I can assist her to get back on her medication please?
