I just started taking this medicine for weight loss. I am having hot flashes and cold chills, terrible headache and a tingly head. I feel awful. Has anybody taken this and had the same reaction? If so did it pass after a few days? Gotta say this...I am not ever hungry! Like to hear from anyone that has taken this med. Thanks :)

THAT IS WAY TOO MUCH IN ONE DAY!!! you should only be taking 37.5mg MAX!! you are best to find another doctor bc he/she is a moron!

I was on adipex for 1 month lost 20 pounds. The Dr gave me another month supply which I took for 2 weeks. I lost 5 more pounds. And I stopped taking them. My question is 2 months later can I finish using the last 15 pills safely without getting fired if I take a drug panel? I was prescribed them but it's been 2 months ago.

Jason, i hear you. it was awful because my husband has never been around people who used drugs so the crash and withdrawal was awful. i did take another one so i would feel normal until he went to work. I've been up like 28 hours cleaning house and stuff. i have capsules so i can't cut them i half though.

I went to my doctor and he prescribed 30mg instead of 37.5 and it's wayyyy better. Maybe the 37.5 is too high.

hi. so what did you do? i have been on it since yesterday an I am experiencing similar issues as to what yo said a little while into it. I also go through something very similar to withdrawal within about 4 hours, yikes. Got more done in a day then i did all month or more,and it worked like it was supposed to but i don't know how long i can deal with the side effects.

I am taking the 37.mg this stuff has a horrible crash, similar to recreational drugs that are uppers. When it really kicks in I feel like I'm tweaking, like pacing, peeking out the windows tweaking. It also has a fiend element to it, I find myself trying to talk my self into taking more and cutting a day out along the line. This is only day 2!! Idk about this crap.

I have been on phentermine for little over a week and I am getting sores in my mouth and feel like there is a lump in my throat. I took this med a year ago and my doctor gave me 37.5 mg this time what should I do or how long does it take for my sores in my mouth to heal?

I feel the same way I even fainted not to long ago I been taking the pill for a month and two weeks the headaches are so pain full I guess cuz I suffer from migraine so I get even stronger headaches

I just started on 37.5 mg yesterday. I was on but after taking today I feel tingly, hot and extremely dizzy.....maybe I will only take 1/2 tomorrow and see how that goes.....how long does it take to wear off? When I get up my head spins and I feel like falling

I have no energy either I get in a total funk and can't get up and do anything. And I also get these horrible headaches around 2pm. I did loose 12 pounds in 2 weeks but I stopped taking them. The headaches were so bad. I'm sad cause I really looked forwarded to finishing the bottle and loosing the weight. The dr couldn't tell me why I feeling like this either.

I haven't had any of those systems but I've been taking it for 3 days and I have no energy, like everyone else say they do. The first day I didn't want to eat but on my 3rd day I felt hungry. Was wondering if that's normal or if anyone else experienced that

Marcia,i just started taking this pill from a doctor in mexico...the Phentermine.
I currently am taking WellbutrinXL for depression and anxiety and have been taking it for many years.
I just started a few days ago with the phen pill and already i have had feelings of helplessness and crying spells,yes im going through a divorce but i have been strong and felt strong. Can THAT be a side effect from this pill? These feelings that i have had are horrible and i feel so sad...

honestly I had Gastric bypass almost 2 years ago. went from 280 to 205 and my appetite got stronger making gain weight. i am back up to 246lbs. doctor prescribed me phentermine and it gives me tons of energy and i havent experience and headaches, cold or hot flashes but then agian you should always be on some type of Vitamin. i take 1 a day, b12, calcium, iron and i just started on fish oil and garlic.....that way u can stiill feed your body the nutriants it desires even if youre not eating....

Beverly, do not just stop taking them, wean yourself off. The withdrawals are way less and more manageable. I did it twice. And it worked both times. It is very hard I know. Youdo still feel fatigued. However it's way less than cold turkey. And do it over a span of 2 months.

I had taken phentermine for almost 6 months. I lost 133 lbs in 2 years. The first I lost the 100 and the second the 33. I have gained back 16. That's all. And I know it's because I made bad choices in my diet. And I also did not work out as often. I started back at eating better and working out and in 2 weeks I'm down 5lbs. I know so many people say this med works but you will gain it all back. I can say that this is not true for me. If you keep talking with your doctor. Making healthy choices. Working out, phentermine can and will work for some. I'm not saying all. I'm saying it worked for me. I loved this medicine. It helped me when I didn't want weight loss surgery. And I wanted to work for it. I hope that anyone who questions it gives it an honest try.

I just started my second round of Phen 37.5 yesterday and I am also on Topamax for migraines. I am just wondering if anyone else has taken these two together? I looked it up online and the only thing I could find was that the two together speed up weight loss. Either way, I want to keep taking the Topamax but I don't want to die, haha. I am weird about medications...Also, it seems like the second time around, once again I am dealing with horrible headaches...anyone found a "cure" for this yet?? :o)
