Pharmacies That Carry Buprenorphine Made By Mylan Or Roxanne 54 411 (Page 7)
UpdatedI've been taking Buprenorphine 8mg for 3 1/2 years now, all of a sudden every pharmacy in our area (that I know of) has switched the manufacturer they are order from, frustrating to me as I just seem to see a difference all though there shouldn't be. Does anyone know a pharmacy that still carries bup mg with the imprint 54 411?
Re: Eric (# 39)
I am from the Scranton PA area as well and I also use rite aid - i go to the rite aid in Daleville pa and my pharmacist places a "special order" for the 54 411 brand. You just have to ask specifically for the Roxane brand otherwise they will give you the small ones. Just tell them that you prefer splitting your dose up in 4th's and the small ones don't allow you to do so.
I don’t know where you live, but the Walgreens in my city where I live still carries that manufacturer. It’s called Westward. Maybe you called Roxanne. The pill itself has that same # printed on mine. 54111. Now, for me the Mylan brand works better for me. Mylan called me personally and they said, their new release date is 5-31-2018. That’s the date it’s supposed to be available to all pharmacies in the US. My pharmacy ordered me the Akorn brand for me this month because, Mylan won’t have theirs in-in time for me when I renew my script. I hope they will continue to have it in stock after that date. I was put on the Mylan brand in California when I went to see a specialist for my Ehlers Danlos Syndrome and pain control. I didn’t want to be the opiates, I was on anymore. Too many side effects from them. This Mylan brand of Subutex has a lot less side effects than any of the opiate ever did. I’m very happy with this new medication. I’m getting better every day. Before I flew out to California I was basically bedridden. Now I’m up and driving again and doing things for myself. I hope you have good results from this message.

Yes I do that but the problem is that Westward (Roxanne) is on back order so that’s why we are all having trouble getting it. The other generics they offer stink.

West ward never responded are they going to continue making it and this is temporary?
Bobby (# 121) --
When I called they said yes that they were still making it... I am going to call again next week. I would call if I were you so they get the gist that people need them to continue.
Bobby (# 121) --
They said they were still making it. The lady said it was not being discontinued but who knows!
Re: Ala181 (# 123)
Oh I don't understand why it's on backorder, then it seems to happen every spring now.
Re: Bobby (# 127)
Well technically they called it “allocating” because they have it in stock but the stock is low so they are allocating it to certain buyers. I just don’t get why they are low on inventory! If people use it why not make larger quantity?
I went to my CVS today and they have west ward back in stock and put a few bottles aside for me so hopefully it's not going to be a.problem.
I think cvs carries it... possibly Walmart too? I'd call and ask
I know Walgreens does not and neither does Fry's or Kroger
Re: Bobby (# 129)
You’re lucky my CVS will not do anything until they receive the script. No customer service! I’m glad you got the meds!
Re: Ala181 (# 131)
Yea I've been going there for a few years now and I know the girl that does the ordering of meds. Also I bring my infant son in with me and they love him lol.. so she will order them for me and the other couple people who get Subutex there because those people also want the west ward brand. She puts aside a few bottles with my name on them usually if I ask. She said they have enough in to fill mine next Wednesday but I've been told that before and then I go in and they say there isn't enough so tomorrow I have to go back and I'm going to ask again if she can put them aside for me. Otherwise I'll be nervous all week.
I’m in Little Rock, Arkansas and I’ve been using Milan brand for years this is the 2nd month that I’ve been given a different brand and oh my god there is such a big difference, it’s hard to explain but it feels like it wears off faster, I just wish I could find the Mylan brand and every pharmacy within a 50 mile radius is out of stock
Re: Rach (# 133)
I know my CVS had it last week but I prefer Westward. Have you tried CVS? Yes there is a huge difference in generics w Subutex, I agree!
Re: riggsk0915 (# 10)
That’s not true. I live in Wilmington, NC and 10 pharmacies here carry 54 411’s. I’ve been on it for 8 years.
Re: Ala181 (# 134)
Westward bought out Roxanne. It’s the same exact pill.
Re: ALESE (# 136)
Yes I know.. but Westward has been on back order and my pharmacy couldn’t get it. I found some at Walmart though. Thank you.
Re: Bobby (# 115)
Yes me too. When I initially got on subozone I had migraines so my Dr switched me to subutex. That was in 2005. I've been on klonopin since the 90s. And this is totally BS about all the back up orders for Roxane. The FDA or whatever powers that be don't care what garbage we get. It's all about money. Makes me so angry . I have been getting a pharmacist at Kroger to special order for 6 mths.now he says he can't get it anymore on bk order. So I found a Walmart they filled it and carry that brand. Get this! Now they say a new law by the DEA was just passed stating you have to live in the same county. Now it's 20 min from my house. Omg I've never seen such BS. If I didn't know that the withdrawals were worse than methadone ID get off the stuff. I take 24 mgs a day. I can't locate the new Perdue ? generic anywhere. I live in Atlanta ..This is madness.
Re: Roxanne56 (# 138)
There actually isn't a Perdue brand. I looked into it and I think it was just a think in Europe or something. There is no info about it online or pictures. Also Purdue has no buprenorphine product on their website. Westward finally was able to be ordered at my CVS and they put 3 bottles aside for me so I was able to get it this month but I also take Klonopin and I guess there is a huge shortage right now all over but thank God I got the last bottle. They had to give me 2mg instead of 1mg tabs though and half the amount of pills. There really shouldn't be a big difference in generic meds like this. Also there should always be a name brand available for a little more money if you want. I just want high quality.
Re: Roxanne56 (# 138)
I’ve been on Subutex for about 7 years and I really wish I just weaned off the pills. I’m trying to wean down on Subs. I’m at 1.5mg but this is too hard since the ceiling effect is above this level. At any rate, I know where to cut the pill. When they change the generic it screws me royally.. especially because most of these generics are junk literally.
