I have been taking 150 - 200 mgs of perc 10s a week for about a year. And i have a d test on monday. its is now thursday 12 am. I have a oxycondin 30mg problem so I started taking perk 10mg to try and come off the OxyCondin but I'm eating them like they are skittles. Now I'm consuming thirty a day of perks 10mg. I have ate thirty perks like three or four times already. What I want to know or if someone could help me and tell me please if it is too much for my liver? Took a 30mg ms contin er on Friday. I have a script for Percocet but had to leave in a hurry due to an emergencu so I left it at home, I was in a lot of pain a friend gave me the ms contin er. I have a 10 panel urine screen on Monday. How will the ms contin er and percocet show up on the urine test? Will a 10 panel test from drug store show same kind if results? I know that i shouldn't have taken the ms contin er but the pain was unbearable.

I recieved a white tablet with the marking watson 322 on the one side and nothing on the other side. My Prescription was for Percocet 10's I don't think they are. My PCP prescribes me 30 Percocet every other week and has so for about two years now. This dosage frequency and milligram is no longer enough to keep my pain under control so I very often run out before two weeks is up. Sometimes even in just a week. So, after explaining this to him, he has urged me on several different visits to start seeing a pain management/medicine doctor because he says that he can neither give me more quantity nor higher milligram as a PCP. He's given me a referral but this is as far as it's gone. I don't know if he can't/isn't allowed to recommend or help me find one or if he's tried to no avail, but I've called every single possibility through search engine, phone book, insurance card etc. and I cannot find one near me who takes my in...

I am on day 4 of the CT method....felt ok today bit starting to get fidgety as the night comes....figured bu the end of day 4 I could sleep better... ## Marijuana is something I'd consider that may help alleviate some of those withdrawal symptoms, at least when it comes down to getting a good nights sleep. But I'd also suggest trying some relaxing tea (such as chamomile) before you go to bed. Are you actually tapering off the Percocets or did you end up deciding to cold-turkey them? It may be that you dropped your dose down too soon before your body could get adjusted to not having it anymore.

I heard they were doing away with the yellow oblong perocet 10 mg 325 and 10 650mg, can you tell me if the is a true statement or not ## Maybe it's just a rumor. According to The American Society of Health-System Pharmacists, there are no current drug shortages or recalls on Percocet of any dosage. I have a half of oblong white pill with a 6 or a 9 on it? What could it be? 12 years ago my church had a ski and snowboard retreat. Traditionally we race together at the last run of the day. By the time i hit the bottom there was a huge pile up and i twisted my board sideways to stop at about 45mph and my torso twisted the opposite way. Since then a have not been able sit, sleep, or walk comfortably. I have no history of drug abuse but the doctors felt it was time to try alternatives such as Naproxen and really big 800mg Ibprofen. Heard that brain can only produce so much dopamine before it runs out. I take 10 mgs of perc every day prescribed. Will it eventually not help pain anymore? ## I'm not familiar with any research claiming a limited lifetime supply of dopamine, but I'd be interested in reading such if it's out there. Do you remember where you heard this or read it? There is a limited amount your brain can process and deal with, at once, is that perhaps what you heard? As to the Percocet, your body will eventually get used to anything that you take regularly for a long period of time and you'll end up finding that it no longer works as well. what is the exact weight of a single Percocet m523 10/325 ? IN GRAMS THX! ## That's not usually information that's readily available and, if it were, you wouldn't actually be able to get an exact measurement, because there can always be some slight fluctuations to each tablet, due to the manufacturing process. I am suppose to take 60 milligrams of percocets a day for a month, then they are going to test my levels to make sure iv taken all of them. If I take a few of them a few days before my appointment will my levels look as if iv been taking them all month?? ## Hi Victoria, To my understanding, the levels of percocet in your system should appear consistent if you've been taking them over a period of a week or so prior to your appointment. This is just an estimate, since these drugs do take time to build up in your system. I'm not sure what % or levels your doctor might be looking for, but in the worst case scenario I would think that it may be best to just tell him the truth and move on to other means of treatment. Hello, I am having a lumbar puncture to measure CSF pressure in a week. I have been prescribed low-dose percoset (1/2 of 7.5/325 per day) to help with the pain and pressure until the lumbar puncture. I was told not to take any blood-thinning medications until the procedure. Can I still take the percoset? Or will it thin the blood as well? ## From what I could gather Percocet has two components; Oxycodone + Acetaminophen, and neither are blood thinners. I am currently taking 5mg of oxybutynin to help control excessive sweating. Would it be ok to take one 5mg percocet or would the interaction be bad? ## Have you consulted your doctor? Combining the Oxycodone in the Percocet with the Oxybutynin can have additive effects that may result in conditions such as severe constipation or paralytic ileus. Back surgery 2 yrs ago and I have been taking percocet for that amount of time to help with back and leg pain 1 or 2 tabs a day ...... how do I stop am sure if I stop suddenly there will be some effect to my system ## Usually for drugs like this the safest way to stop taking them is to tapper off them, if possible. Some medications can be taken in fractions (actually cut into pieces) and these smaller pieces can be taken in place of the regular dose for a period of several weeks until the body is no longer dependent upon them. In addition to that, I'd also suggest making yourself a tapering schedule on a calendar to track your progress and keep you on the right path to complete your goal within a specific time frame (even if it takes a few months).
