However, her hip started giving her trouble about 2 years ago, but just now is having so much pain that she has to take at least one pain pill so she can get up. She has Tylenol 3 with codeine and generic percocet. The tylenol 3 is starting to not control it, but she is afraid of becoming dependent So, big question. How many tablets can she take w/o becoming dependent? I can't get her to take two of either one of the two meds because she is so terrified! She has to get her hip replaced eventually, with pain about every 3 days that is enough for her to be suffering. How can I ease her fears???? ## Hello, Chris! How is she doing? Perhaps the best ...
my mom was taking qualitest generic percocet for severe leg pain. recent script from cvs was labeled mallinkot . she became very nauseated with loss of appetite and a rash with large blotches and itching over face and body after taking the percocet over several days with no pain relief.. I knew the actavis brand is no good but did not put things together as her bottle said differently. Her face was swollen and eye swollen shut and red . she did not think the only new thing she was taking was her percocet. I looked at the bottle again and the description did not match the pill. I immediately went to cvs and they labeled it wrong. she was given actavis instead!!! It took 2 days of phone calls and benadryl for the severe reaction to get a new script, but not until i brought her to the md offi

UpdatedI just had surgery on my throat yesterday. I was given percocet to take home from hospital(8 5/325s) and was prescribed tramacet. Am i able to over lap and take both or sshould I take the rest of percocet before beginning the tramacet? I do not take pills often therefore I am not to sure. I am still feeling a great deal of pain and took one percocet two hours ago. ## Hello, Erica! How are you? No, you shouldn't overlap, since they both contain Acetaminophen and taking too much of it in a day can be fatally toxic. The Percocet was probably given for the immediate pain for a day or two, then they would expect it to ease up as you start to heal, so the Tramacet should help. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nau...
I am trying to find a Dr that will prescribe me percocet for my back and neck pain. ## Hello, Lynn! How are you? I'm very sorry that you're in pain. However, there is no listing of doctors according to what they will or will not prescribe that I can refer to for you. Have you discussed the situation with your PCP? They should be able to refer you to someone that can help. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation.
I ordered what I thought was percocet from a web-based pharmacy. They did nothing. How can I find out what they really are? ## Hello, Linda! How are you? I'm very sorry about what happened. Unfortunately, that is a risk of ordering in such a manner and not getting them through a legitimate U.S. pharmacy, there's no way of knowing if you'll actually get what you ordered. And as to finding out what they really are, the only thing you could do is pay to have a sample lab analyzed. Is there anything else I can help with?

i WANT INFORMATION FOR DOCS IN THE AREA OF SACRAMENTO DOCTOR WHO TREATS PTS WIHIT DRUG PROBLEMSI I HAVE BEEN TAKE PERCOCET 10/325 AROUND EVERY 2 WEEKS AND IT NEEDS TO STOP ## How much have you been taking and how often? If you're only taking certain quantities every 2 weeks, but not all the time, then most regular drug treatment programs won't be appropriated. Have you tried talking to your own doctor about the problem to see what they recommend?
Help me pleace i dont know what it is ## You don't know what Percocet is? It is a narcotic analgesic that's used to alleviate pain. This tablet contains 10mgs of the narcotic Oxycodone and 325mgs of Acetaminophen. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. have no ins, no income, i need to know how to get assistance this medication. ## Go to www.simplefill.com. They will take care of all your paperwork and get you your prescriptions for free. I think it is $65 a month but that is it. ## There aren't many assistance programs available for pain management, unfortunately. However, a FREE organization to try is: PPARX.org Click Here ## is there any patient information booklet for patients assuming percocet for chronic pain (non oncologic desease)? ## For everyone that hasn't ran into this problem, pharmacies that just recently accepted several discount cards are no longer accepting cards for controlled substances. This includes top chains like walgreens, walmart, target, CVS. ## I have medicare with prescription part d. But the cost s...
Which would you say is the more powerful combatant for pain, df118 or percocets? ## Hello, Ivann! How are you? Codeine and it's immediate relatives, such as the Dihydrocodeine in this are actually very weak, so the Percocet is a stronger analgesic. The Oxycodone is 10 times stronger to be more precise. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with?
Ive been on 10mg percocet for herniated and buldging discs in my lower back and neck, for about 8months now. I had always got watson pills up until 2 months ago, and these yellow ones do not seem to work as good. They tend to wear off alot faster, and dont seem to help as much when they do first kick in. Is there any different ingredients in the too manufactures' pills or a reason one companys would work better being as they are exactly the same mg? ## Hello, Josh! How are you? The first question I need to ask is what have you been taking? If you've been taking Percocet, then there should be 2 doses for you to list, since it contains Acetaminophen and Oxycodone. I can provide you with more accurate information, if I know for sure what we're talking about.
Who will prescribe me Percocet in Dallas Texas with no problem? Just moved from Spain playing ball and I don't know anybody here. Thanks for the help! ## Hello, Tiger2003! How are you? I'm sorry, but it's just not that easy to get in the U.S. anymore, due to ever increasing rates of over prescribing and improper prescribing, as well as how commonly such medications are abused. If you require such a medication on a long-term, ongoing basis for treating pain, then you'll need to see a pain management specialist. Have you found yourself a PCP, yet? Having one to refer you to a specialist will be the quickest and easiest way to get the help you need. ## Im gods and yourself? But I'm from the states, I'm from Mississippi and recently to moved to dallas. I don't kn...
Round white pill with a -349 ## Hi Dave, Based on the description provided, I found a white round pill marked "A349" to be identified as generic Percocet, containing Oxycodone (5mg) + Acetaminophen (325mg). This medication is most commonly prescribed for treating moderate to severe pain. For verification, the manufacturer of this particular tablet is Actavis. You can also learn more about this drug on the page for Acetaminophen + Oxycodone Details I hope this helps!
yellow, oblong/oval pill, cant read one side since its been in my wallet for awhile, the other side clearly says percocet. I just want to be sure its a percocet before i take it as i have had many bad reactions to other pills and this is the one that i have not. I plan on only taking half, which is what i do when i am in extreme pain, yet still need to function, but do not want an adverse reaction if this is not a percocet. The percs i am used to taking are normally white and round (generics) someone please assure me this is an actual percocet. ## Yes, there are 2 yellow, oblong name brand Percocet tablets that say Percocet on one side. One of them contains 10mgs of Oxycodone and 325mgs of Acetaminophen and the other contains 10mgs of Oxycodone and 650mgs of Acetaminophen, however, with...
Been taking 7'5 mg generic vicoden every 4 hours but switch to k9 perc (30 mgs?) How much of the perc do i take for similar relief? Is the k9 time release and does it contain acetamenaphine? Don't want to feel high or weird, just same effect and pain relief Thanks ## Hello, Irish! How are you? The tablet with the K9 marking is not a Percocet or the generic equivalent. Percocet and its generics contain both Acetaminophen and Oxycodone and there are none available that contain 30mgs of either one. The tablet with the K9 marking contain 30mgs of Oxycodone, by itself, in a regular release formulation. It is actually stronger than the Vicodin you were taking. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizzines...
Wow am I glad I found your site. I had been prescribed Percocet before but when I got these, I couldn't find it anywhere on any rxlist or site until I came across this blog. It was very helpful. I was unaware that watson had switched to actavis pharm or that there was a new company making these, I thought the pharmacy had messed up So thank you for all your info it was VERY helpful! ## Hello, Alaska25! How are you? I'm very glad that you found the information to be helpful. :-) There have been several people asking about these tablet and I had trouble finding the details myself. Are there any other questions or concerns?
How safe is it to order narcotics (percocet 10s, etc) online from different countries and can they provide me a RX for them? ## I doubt very much if you will get a prescription to order narcotics from other countries. I will tell you that there are sights that sell them without a prescription, but there is a 99.9% chance, you will get caught, because it is illegal. It is a Federal Offense because of the mail. Is it worth going to prison for?
I took a total of 15mg of oxycodone over a 5 day period, the last day being only 2.5mg. I had a UA 6 days later after the last 2.5mg taken...it was over 150 hours total completely clean. I flushed my system that morning with 3/4 gallon of water. Should I be worried at all?
