I take the Rhodes 10/325 percocet and they are better than actavis oh that don't help at all. Rhodes and Amneal I agree are weak compared to the old Watson's and Mallinckrodt, and Endocet, even Roxicet. What happened to those that did wonders I don't know. ## Hi Stevo, I think when it comes down to drug efficacy, we not only have to look at the active ingredients/dosages, but just as importantly, the binders and fillers which often change from manufacturer to manufacturer. So what happened to those drugs that did wonders? - Well, from my perspective drug companies probably did add various inert ingredients that somehow affect bioavailability or how well our body absorbs the "active" ingredients that are composed within all the fillers. It's hard to say if there i...

I just had my script filled and it looks waxy. Is it the right medication? ## ARE U ASKING IF THEY ARE FAKE? OR R U WARNING PEOPLE THAT THERE ARE FAKE ONES THAT LOOKS LIKE THEM? ## Just tryn to warn. It's getting bad, feel like I can't trust anyone and who knows if it is the right med. Tasted like baking soda and soap. But they look identical but kinda had waxiness to outside like maybe hairspray. ## @ruby, I've never seen Percocet tablets with a waxy look to them, but it sounds to me like these counterfeiters are doing anything they can to get one up on their potential victims. The best thing you can do as a preventative measure in my opinion is to continue searching for a doctor who will write you a legitimate prescription (provided that you aren't taking them recreati...

I'm going to Harrisburg on vacation... I have a script from NJ for Percocet. When I fill it, will it show in the NJ PMP? I already found a pharmacy that will fill it out of state, but in PA they don't have a PMP in place yet. So does that mean they won't report it to NJ? PA is not part of the PMP Interconnect that shares info across a national database ## They all share information, now. Be it through a regular datbase, or via other electronic means, it is all recorded, and shared, especially when it involves controlled substances, such as an opiate. The FDA warns that Percocet carries the risk of being habit forming, and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, constipation, and dry mouth. Is there anything I can help with?

How can I tell if she gave me back the same RP 10-325 pills that I had? Please help. I’m not felling anything. She said she didn’t take anything but it looks kinda different. The one 10 looks like "10", but the other looks like this "l0". Help me. ## Well, you can Google the way the pill "should" look. But please keep in mind rps SUCK! They are the most ineffective garbage. I've been in pain management for about 10 years so I have tried several different brands and have a pharmacy background. Steer clear of those if possible I spoke with my dr and the pharmacist and both verified that brand has so many fillers. I actually get migraines from that brand because of the amount of fillers they use. Go look up the reviews on Rhoads Pharmaceuticals. But ...

I take 1 Percocet every 6 hours for pain and I have 60 tablets how long should they last? ## Hello, Penny! How are you? If you take them every 6 hours, then 60 tablets would last 15 days. However, if the prescribing instructions from your doctor say to take as needed, then your doctor may expect them to last longer. The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth and constipation. Hi, this is the first time I have been given the A333 oxycodone 10 -325. Normally I get the Watson 10 - 325 which has always been a decent generic brand. The Watsons 10 -325 are manufactured in the U.S.A. but I am not sure where the A333 are made or if they are equivalent to the Watsons. If you can answer my question it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you, Michael ## Hello, Michael! How are you? What country they are made in actually doesn't matter, if they are approved and available here in the U.S. they must meet the same quality and efficacy guidelines as the other generics and yes, these are equivalent. I've been in structured pain Mgmt for 18+ yrs; after 6 failed back surgeries & trials of treatments it was only percocet that would allow me to tolerate walking again & functioning in at least a tolerable life without nausea, dizziness, fatigue & it TAKES THE PAIN AWAY TO A MANAGEABLE LEVEL! I've been suffering for the last 2 months on a different generic brand by Amneal Pharmaceuticals; it's horrible! It's as if I'm taking a completely different drug & producing diarrhea, nausea, headache, no pain relief, etc; I know my symptoms are a result of this GENERICALLY FORCED UPON ME pill. As laws are so strict now due to drug addicts abusing it WE THE PEOPLE PERCOCET WAS MADE FOR ARE SUFFERING with the stigma & restrictions won't let me turn in the ...

Hi, I am a 41 year old male suffering from Lumbar Spinal Stenosis, Degenerative Disc Disease and a Bulging Disc in my lower back. My pain is constant with little or no relief. My pain management doctor has me on Hydromorph Contin 12mg twice a day and Percocet 5/325mg for breakthrough pain. My question is what can I ask him to prescribe me for better pain relief. My pain got so bad about a week before Christmas I resorted to using a push pin, the type for hanging posters on the wall to scratch my arm to defer my pain from my back. I called his office and talked to his nurse to tell her how bad my pain was getting. I broke down crying on the phone, my pain was a 9 out of 10 for that previous week. Usually my pain is a constant 6 out of 10. ## Have you tried something such as straight Oxyc...

A month ago I had BR surgery I was given a script of Percocet a week before so I'll have it ready. Surgery was painful thank God for Percocet. From December 10 2014 and its January 20 2015. Last night was my first night without Percocet I'm just tired of it. I had a hard time falling asleep it was a horrible night. ## Yes, if you've been taking it regularly for a period of time, it is normal to experience some mild withdrawal effects, if you stop taking it abruptly. Along with insomnia, stopping the Percocet may also cause rebound pain, headache, nervousness, and diarrhea. Are you on any other medications? How is the surgical recovery going?

My doctor prescribed me 10mg percocets. I then asked to switch to Vicodin due to some side effects. I noticed that the Vicodin is not helping as well with pain and I have to take more than the recommended dosage for pain relief. I'm out of the vicodin and can refill tomorrow. I have an appointment with my pain management specialist next week where I will talk to her about going back on the 10mg percocets. My question is, will the pharmacy give me an issue if I call tomorrow for a refill of the Vicodin (to hold me over for pain), and then the week after if my doctor gives me percocets? My question is, can I get Vicodin filled and then a week later get Percocet filled? My condition is fragmented, herniated L4/L5 disc. I'm being treated with medication and steroid inj's. until ...

Are there any vitamins or other OTC drugs that may resemble Percocet 7.5mg? I suspect there may have been a mix up from the pharmacy. ## It is very doubtful, since prescription medications are all required to have markings on manufactured tablets, or capsules, to enable their identification in case of emergency. In cases of overdose, or severe allergic reactions, where a person might be unresponsive, the markings enable emergency responders to be sure what the person took, so they can provide the best possible treatments. That said, what are the markings on the tablets you've received? Can you please post back with this information, and a description of the tablets? These details would enable someone to check the identification for you to ascertain whether or not you have received t...

Anyone had stomach / intestinal effects from this particular form? I've been switched from Watson 932 10/325 because of drug store supply. ## Hi Michael, According to the Oxycodone Drug Details page, this medication can cause GI related side effects such as: diarrhea, constipation, abdominal pain, vomiting, urine retention, and loss of appetite. I don't know which of these symptoms you may be experiencing, but I believe they can be relatively common amongst other possible side effects. It could also be due to having a different set of inactive ingredients (otherwise known as binders/fillers). If you have a known allergy to things like corn starch (a gluten derivative) or propylene glycol (which is also used in motor oil for your car), then this might be worth looking into. I hav...

Out of curiosity what is stronger Percocet 7.5 (325 mg) or Oxycodone 10 mg Immediate Release (IR)? I know the only difference between these two is one has Acetaminophen and one doesn’t. The 7.5 mg Perc didn’t say if it was IR or (Extended Release) ER. If needed more details I’ll explain replying to your post(s). Just trying to have an idea. ## Percocet is immediate release, and even though the Acetaminophen does boost its efficacy for some people that take it, the 10mg Oxycodone is still stronger. The FDA warns that these medications carry the risk of being habit forming, and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, dry mouth, headache, and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with? ## No. That’s perfect thanks! Had 2 surgeries in the past (1...

Given that federal law permits generic pharmaceutical manufacturers to diminish principle ingredient(s) by as much as -20% (i.e. minus 20% as compared to the principle amount in the original or "brand" version), I am attempting to find a generic producer of Percocet that has proven to be more effective for others in situations like or similar to mine. Due to a hard fall, I sustained an injury called spondylolethesis (i.e. shifting vertebrae) from L4, L5, & S1. Corrective surgery was required involving a vertical abdominal incision below the navel and two low-back incisions on either side of lumbar spine to allow installation of the appropriate orthopedic spine hardware (e.g. screws, rods, posts, etc.). Since the post-op pain has only increased from surgery 2 wks. ago, and th...
