How would a doctor write out a prescription for 15mg percs? Would it just say 15mg Percocet? I currently take 7.5mg/325 percocets but I'm going to a new doctor since mine moved away and I wanted to change the mgs to 15 without the acetaminophen. I can modify this on my medication list that I printed out from my old doctors website patient portal. Just want to make sure I write it correctly. ## Percocet doesn't come in a 15 mg. I'm so confused here I have a white pill marked with 44 and a line 104 & blank on the back. Some of you say it is percocet some of you are saying it's just Tylenol. This one is now manufactured by Teva Pharmaceuticals and they list it as containing 325mgs of Acetaminophen, so it is a generic for Tylenol. I used to take Watson percocet 10/325, until it was bought over by Activis. I have since been on Malinkridot (sp); which is not as effective, but ok. Now all of a sudden Ive been told that the only generic they will use/order is by Rhodes.... I cannot find any information on that brand, or why the change. i assume it is because of cost, but any information would be much appreciated. I am very sensitive to dyes, and gluten, and certain fillers. I would like to know who owns the Rhodes brand, and if Malinkridot is still being made? Also, how they compare as far as effectiveness. I am looking for a doctor near saint Louis MO who prescribes 10mg percocets. I have been diagnosed with lumbosacral stenosis w/o myetomy a couple years back, and have been taking 10mg percocets for pain relief. Recently decided to see what it was like to get off the medications, to see how bad my condition truly was without them. Told the pain doctor I have now that I didn't need prescriptions because I wanted to see what the pain truly was like without them now, and that destroyed my relationship with him because he feels like I am now playing games with him...honestly, I wanted to see if I could live life without them, but have been off them now for a month and a half, and it's been hell, so I truly need the medication from now on regardless. Hello...I sadly am on a regime on percocet. I am on a low dose and have been on for a very long time. My primary writes it, usually. I do go to pain management but they do not prescribe narcotics and my primary had been the one to write my percocet for me-I left it at that. Both doctors are aware of my regime and the PM doctor sends his reports to my primary doctor. The PM doctor gave me injections. They only help occasionally it's not cortisone it's something that blocks the nerves? I went to pick up my monthly script when I was told PA laws have changed so I have to find a pain management doctor that will write for narcotics because the primary now only can do so 3 or so times? I'm prescribed 10mg percocet and I ran out of my script early. I got a few 15mg roxys. Since they're both oxycodone and the only difference is one has tylenol and the other hydrochloride will it show up as the same thing on my drug screen? I'm assuming it will with a dipstick test but if it's sent to a lab will the lab detect different metabolites? Please only respond if you know for sure what you're talking about, thank you.

If I have been taking Percocet and they gave me Tramacet. Will Tramacet be as effective as Percocet? ## It really depends on you, the only way to see how well it works for you is by trying it. However, the Tramadol is the Tramacet is a much weaker opiate, so it may not help you. The FDA classifies this medication as an opioid, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Found a 233 imprint flat back 10 mg percocet with aspirin. Not from the us. ## The percocet I found with aspirin looks just like a small oxycodone 223 but only the 223 is a 5mg with a line on the back. And the 233 has nothing but a 233 on it and a flat back. This is a 10mg percocet also it is a small and white round pill. Hope this answers your questions on this matter I am 100 percent on this.

I found a small white round pill that is marked with just a 5 on one side and blank, but deeply scored on the other side. ## Hi Bruce, Generic Percocet made by Mallinckrodt, containing 5mgs of oxycodone + 325mgs of acetaminophen is really the only thing that comes remotely close to your description upon doing a google search. This particular tablet is marked with "512" on one side and is scored on the other. For added verification, it is also reported to be approximately 12.00 mm in diameter. Maybe that could help determine if there are other similarities as well. Any chance there could've been more numbers that were potentially faded/smudged off your pill? I was on Percocet for 5 yrs for various areas of pain and arthritic knees. 6 weeks ago I went to Detox and was treated with Methadone. I am taking Ativan 1mg twice a day for the hand tremors. I am going to ask the Dr for 2mg because I still have these tremors. Help when will this subside or finally stop. I take percocets 7.5,but they dnt seem to work as well as before. Do I need to ask for an increase? I'm in serve/chronic pain all the time,and when the whether changes,my pain gets worser ## If you go to your doctor and flat out ask for an increase, they may view that as being drug seeking and refuse. The best thing to do would be to just inform them that this dose is no longer handling your pain and let them make suggestions from there. This is an over the counter product that's now manufactured by Teva Pharmaceuticals and they list it as containing 325mgs of Acetaminophen. I take generic percpcet 10-325mg. up to 4 times daily for breakthru pain. I just read about the OxyIR and am wondering what would be the same mg. as the percocet if I wanted to discussed this with my dr.? If OxyIR does NOT contain aspirin wouldn't it be healthier for me & my liver? I took 2 little blue pills, my bf told me they are called percocet 30, but i thought there was no such thing as a perk 30, and its oxycodone 30? Why I'm trying to find out is because i usually take about 1 to 1 1/2 oxycodone 80mg per day. But my prescription ran out so he's telling me that taking 2 percocet 30mg are the same as taking an oxycodone 80mg. Is that true? And are there any such thing as perk 30mg? I've been off Percocet 10mg since January 19th 2015 in which I went from taking 4 to 8 a day to taking none. I had taken Norco 10 from 1996 until May of 2010 and had done great on the Norco but ruptured a disk in my neck & had to go to something stronger until I was evaluated for surgery. I was not a candidate for surgery so I started neurontin to try to give it time to heal. It did heal but by that time I was stuck on the percocet. Back to present day my pain has started coming back so I want to get ahead of it but not back to the percocet. prescribed percocet 5mg take 2-3 pills as needed q 6hrs oppossed to roxicodone 30 take i q 6hr ## Percocet contains Acetaminophen and Oxycodone. 2 to 3 pills of this dosage is still lower in the amount of Oxycodone than the Roxicodone you were taking.
