I have taken Percocet many times before and just got this new generic yesterday feel strange and nauseated since took first one yesterday ! Unfortunately, neither the pharmacy nor the manufacturer is likely to do anything. The best thing to do would be to talk to your doctor about possibly trying a different medication and then report this issue to FDA by calling them at 888-463-6332. I just received the 7.5/325mg yesterday, I have been reading the reviews and I am very concern. I have always taken the 7.5/325mg. by the brand Watson. I have been on disability since 1994. I don't know what to do if it doesn't work and this is the only type availability. Why would a pharmacy have a contract with this company? I have chronic back pain plus I have other medical problems, If this pill doesn't work and I have other side affects, is there any other Percocet that I could use? ## Pharmacy distributors will have a contract with whatever generic manufacturer is offering the cheapest price, since not everyone has prescription coverage. I've been on methadone 15yrs. I need to get off. I'm in pain management for a back injury and the methadone is blocking my percocet. How can I get off methadone? ## I am on both Methadone and oxycodone for pain. As long as you take your oxycodone about 45 minutes before your dose of Methadone and eat about a half an hour after after you take your Methadone, your medication will work as it is supposed to. Follow the same pattern if you take several doses of both medications a day, like I do. Just always make sure you take the oxycodone first, because it sets the tone for the day. I alternate between both and it works amazing. Good luck.

Since it is a different medication, there shouldn't be a problem. Percocet is slightly stronger than Vicodin, so it is understandable that it may help you more. You may also want to turn the rest of the Vicodin in to your pharmacy, so they can dispose of it for you, that way they also know you aren't taking both, at the same time. I see a pain specialist that prescribes percocet for my pain. I took too many this month so i ran out before my appointment, didn't realize it was time for my urine test. I took my last percocet on Tuesday morning and my appointment was Thursday afternoon. Will percocet still show up in my urine test?

I am curious to know if it is safe to take a percocet if I have been taking 300 mg Tridural ER each morning? Sometimes the Tridural does not kick in (or release) when I need it to. ## Hello, Wendy! I'm here to try and help someone because I'm in the same boat as everyone here. I started using percs 10 years ago and got off them about 6 years. Well, I started back up 3 years ago. I am taking up to 15/day for 3 years consecutively without missing one day. I'm not going to go into the drawn out story about why I started, like everyone else here, the point is "we're all addicted". I've been taking 12 Percocet a day for 3 weeks. Been taking Percocet for longer than that but I haven't been getting relief like I used to. I'm afraid I am causing damage to my liver and I'm panicking that I am overdosing on acetaminophen. How can I tell if I am causing liver damage and how would I know if I am in danger? Im moving and my Rx isnt with me... but i go and see my Pain Mgmt Dr in 3 days. I take 6 10/325's a day and havent taken one in 3 days. I have two different yellow c 230s side by side and with the 230 straight across lined up side to side and flip perfectly around and the c's don't line up and one has specs of something and looks old and the are not hard hard nor do they snap when broken. ...? ??? ## The pill description you provided is indicative of generic 10/325 Oxycodone HCL + Acetaminophen; made by Alvogen. For verification, the pill itself carries a National Drug Code of 47781-230. I don't know how they feel or what they look like when they're broken, but if you received these from a licensed pharmacy, you can be sure they are real. Been on 10/325 yellow percocet. I refill at Safeway. They gave me ip 204. What is the difference? I don't get the same relief from the IP 204. They said that is what Safeway is going with. I am stuck with these pills. What can I do? ## Hi doris, IP 204 is a generic form of percocet, made by Amneal Pharma. It also contains a dosage of 10/325 mg. If there are any notable differences between this and the yellow version you're used to taking, I'd say it would probably be found in the list of inactive ingredients (binders/fillers)... No yellow dye for example. I previously was on percocet 10mg one 4 times a day..it was no longer working but due to new state and federal regulations my Dr wouldn't give anything stronger and informed me as of 9/1/2016 would no longer treat pain except with Tylenol #3 or Tylenol #4. Like a i**** I tried Tylenol #4 one every 4 hours.....TERRIBLE PAIN. So I was given a referral to a pain Dr and saw on Monday.. today is Thursday. taste like baking soda when i chew them up,,,,i have chewed my pain meds for years and never had pills taste like baking soda ## If you're not getting your prescriptions filled at a licensed pharmacy I would question whether you got taken advantage of with counterfeits. Have you considered getting the pills analyzed by a lab to find out what's in it? Did you receive a prescription bottle with a manufacturer's name or any other pertinent details regarding their origin? My hope for your sake is that they're not poisonous or laced with something. I'd definitely determine what it is you're taking BEFORE chewing it up... even if it means sending it in to a lab and waiting a couple weeks.

Curious. Rx filled for Percocet 7.5 365 for shoulder surgery. The only something I got was severe gas. Very small amount of relief. Seldom take pain medz. Called RiteAide, advised this is only generic medz allowed by my plan type. However, generic medz can be as effective, depending on manufacturer. Further research entailed corporation is in India. WTF! If so, it is manufactured by Pack Pharmaceuticals and they list it as containing 500mgs of Ciprofloxacin, which is an antibiotic that's used to treat various types of bacterial infections.
