Payment Options

Updated

I apologize if this isn't the right place to post this, but I need some help, and information.

I'm on Suboxone Sublingual films. I have been for 6 months. Every month, I get my prescription filled at the local Walgreen's, and I have always played out of pocket (absolutely NO insurance, benefits, or anything else). It's incredibly expensive ($500/m), but this is the first time I'm really struggling for it.

My prescription is ready for pickup, and I need it. But I won't have any money until Tuesday. There's absolutely nothing I can do about that. Is it possible to get the prescription, and pay for it at a later date (just a few days)? Obviously, this has never happened before. I've always played it, one trip, in cash. This is the first time, and I'm really stressed. I do need this stuff, like last night.

Thank you.

You can go to this site ~ Rxreliefcard.com. You can print out a discount coupon for up to 75% off each prescription you have & while you are there you can apply for a script discount card. I have used the printable coupons & have now received my card & both of these options works great. I just wish I had found this site sooner, as I too have no insurance coverage & this has helped me very much. Hope this helps you out with your delima, & helps you to continue to save in the future. Good Luck

I'm sorry, but this website isn't affiliated with any pharmacy, it is an information only website.

The best suggestion I can make is that you ask the pharmacist.

If you're a regular customer, they will sometimes make arrangements for you by allowing you to get a few days worth and then picking the rest up a later time.

Learn more Suboxone details here.

The problem is that this is a controlled substance, so they may not be allowed to do that, I"m not sure what the laws or policies are in regards to it.

In some cases, it can also negate the rest of the prescription if you do that, then you'd require a new prescription for the rest of the month.

Have you contacted Walgreens to ask?
