Pantoprazole And Lowered Platelets

My platelet counts have been jumping down very fast at times lately, then going back up - so far. Has anyone had experience with low platelets when taking pantoprazole or another PPI? If so, how did it behave over time? So far mine are not dangerously low, but I'm nervous.

Pantoprazole has been known to cause that in some people that take it, as a side effect, according to FDA reports, though it isn't common. Other side effects may include nausea, stomach pain, diarrhea, and headache.

Are you on any other medications?

Have they considered any other reasons for this to be occurring?
