Hi e,

Interestingly enough, weight gain is actually considered to be a rare side effect of Pantoprazole. It's not listed as a side effect on any of the government websites, but various other articles state this to be so.

A friend of mine was telling me the doctor gave this to him about 12 days ago, and he got a large 4 inch itchy swelling on his forearm. His pinky toe swelled up and is so itchy and red. Anyone had a side effect like this? What could cause this?
