Pantoprazole Sod Dr 40 Mg

I just had my Pantoprazole refilled and the pills are different .The new pill is white and oblong with the numbers 1097 printed on one side. Is this generic pabtiorazole?

Pantoprazole is actually the generic ingredient in Protonix and yes, the pill you have contains 40mgs of it.

Common side effects may include: nausea, drowsiness, stomach pain and flatulence.
