That's usually the way it is used, it's generally prescribed to be taken daily for at least 14 days and sometimes for as long as 4 months continuously.

Pantoprazole is a proton pump inhibitor that's used to help reduce the amount of acid produced by the stomach.

Side effects may include nausea, dizziness, flatulence and stomach pain.
