My wife had undergone major surgery involving removal of gall bladder due to gb cancer and had undergone complication postsugery. She is now recovering . Dr has prescribed PAN D as one of the medicines . She is required to take post operative chemo but due to increase in alkaline solution in liver and slight increase in billuribin she is being made to take liver test by hepatologist. What is the reason for increase in alkaline in liver and what is the long term effect of taking this medicine?
