My mom is prescribed PAN-D and she is 80 years old. After a week of the medication, swelling of the feet has been observed. Is this a side effect of PAN-D?

Pan-D contains the active ingredients Pantoprazole and Domperidone, it is used to treat problems commonly associated with excess stomach acid, such as heartburn, GERD and gastritis.
In this case, the swelling of her feet is probably associated with the Domperidone, it is warned about as an unusual side effect in the patient advisories and she should contact her doctor about this immediately, as she will probably need to stop using this medication.
