As many people prefer certain brands, I thought this would be helpful. If possible, please add your entry to this thread in the following format. I will begin first, of course. Thanks! ## I haven't had personal experience with Percocet, but after seeing all the complaints against Actavis and Mallinckrodt I think any other brands would be worth looking into. What Is Better: Watson Lorcet 10 Or Norco10/325 - And What's The Difference? ## If the dosage is the same, then the only difference is who has manufactured it. Both contain Hydrocodone and Acetaminophen, the Hydrocodone is a narcotic pain reliever. Side effects may include: nausea, drowsiness, dizziness and constipation. Are there any other questions? ## my doctor had me on lorcet 10/650 and change to lorcet 10/325 what's the different are they the same?I had three back surgery ## The only difference is the amount of acetaminophen contained in each pill. The 10/650 dose contains 650 mg's of acetaminophen and the 10/325 dose contains, you guessed it, 325 mg's. He had to switch because the FDA does not allow doses of acetaminophen over 500 mg's per pill, in any pill, w...
My dr said they were limiting prescribing oxys to just cancer patients, took me off oxy 30s and now im on 4mg hydromorphones. Pain doesn't stop. What can i do? ## My pain Dr.told me they got a memo stating that they were no longer allowed to prescribe Oxy's to any patients that were not cancer or terminally ill. So I was taken off Oxy 30s and put 4mg hydromorphone as my NEW (again for the fourth or fifth time) pain "management" medication. I always try to be tolerant of there educated ideas but I tire of there gross disregard of my comfort and the fact that i am the one that has to live in pain and agony when their new drugs don't work and me and my family have to pay the price...It took over a year to find relief and now it starts all over again. Can anyone tell me ...

I have a bright round orange pill that has N60 on one side and nothing on the other side. Anyone know what it is? Could it be Morphine or a heart related pill? ## Morphine extended release. Not really any recreational value . But can be helpful if you truly need it ## The 60mg extended release Morphine with NDC 68382-0905 that matches this description is oval and white. It is an opiate narcotic that carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, constipation, and dry mouth. They are manufactured by Zydus Pharmaceuticals However, they are not round and orange. The markings are also on opposite sides of the pill. TomCat, I haven't been able to find anything that matches your description. Can you please double check the markings...
Hi, i have been reading through this site for a while and i found that a lot of people are having troubles because of FDA regulations for pain meds. Doctors are not willing to prescribe pain meds, even if you are a proved chronic pain patient. Having medical records is not a warranty neither to get a prescription for your medication so, what in the earth is people going to do? should people just die or be in pain forever. Some people may find a way to be out of pain without pain meds, but what about the others who dont. i think government should do anything else but putting restrictions and regulations. Please i would like those in pain to share your opinion with me. {edited for privacy}. i will gladdly take your solicition. God Bless America! ## I have been in mmt for 9 yrs. I'm wa...

I have crps in both hands from carpal tunnel release...after several months, I was worse, not better. My workmens comp dr. said " You will have chronic pain the rest of your life and you will just have to learn to live with it"...oh thanks doc for screwing my hands up, not to mention how it has drastically has changed my life and limitations. I have been seeing a pain specialist ever since and that was back in 2001 when I had the release. I was on lyrica for the last 6 years, I have been off of it for three months. Now that I think back to when my severe depression started was not long since I started taking it. I don't know how many times I said I hate my life and I wish I was dead, I had thoughts of taking all my prescriptions and going to sleep for good! By the grace of g...
Can I take one hydrocodone acetaminophen 10 325 and one tramadol 50 mg together? One 10 325 does not help much. I do not want to take two 10 325. The pain in my hip and leg is severe. Thank you. ## Hello, Donny! How are you? I am very sorry that you're in pain. Have they both been prescribed for you? If so, you should follow the provided usage instructions. The FDA warns that these medications carry the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth, and constipation. Are you on any other medications? ## My Dr has me taking 10 -325 only twice a day. I also take 50 mg of tramadol 2 times a day. He has added no more than 8 Tylenol ea day. I also take a lot more medication because I have so many things wrong with me. I got scared ...
My brother takes Oxycontin 80 mg. for timed release pain management and 30 mg. roxycodone for break thru pain. He has seen the same doctor and went to the same pharmacy for over 10 years. Suddenly last month, drug store did not have the 30 mg. available for a few days and this month, I was told that 30 mg. were no longer available. I cannot get his medication anywhere ( the 30 mg.) Are they no longer on the market? ## Roxicodone (regular timed to act) and Oxycodone(contin) (longer time acting) are essentially the same medication but here apparently prescribed for different effects. Short and long term pain control. So, to summarize, they are essentially the same drug but with different prescription for use, and most likely different brands. ## The 30mg dosage is still available, but the...
Anyone know what this pill could be? ## While David's ID is correct for AZ 235, there is another over the counter pill which is round and white and DOES contain the inscription AZ 285 on it. (NDC 50066-285). It appears to be a generic form of Excedrin Migraine. Active Ingredients: - Acetaminophen 250 mg - Aspirin 250 mg - Caffeine 65 mg Inactive Ingredients: - Corn Starch - Hypromelloses - Polyethylene Glycols - Stearic Acid - Titanium Dioxide - Povidones - Sodium Starch Glycolate Type a Potato Because this is an over the counter product, it may be labeled and marketed from a number of different manufacturers under multiple NDC codes as well. ## Based on the description provided, I think you may have meant to say "235" as opposed to "285"? A round white pill imprinte...
My husband went to the doctor on the 26th of nov. and got his refill for hydrocodone. being that Oct. has 31 days in that month, what date by law is the first earliest day he can refill them. This is falling on Thanksgiving and he can not be driving or riding in a car without his meds. ## It depends on what date in Oct he had the last rx filled. It also depends on what pharmacy you use and your insurance company. Usually, if he has not tried to get another rx filled early in recent months, he should be able to get it filled within one of two days of him running out. Some of the chain pharmacies have policies on the max number of tablets he can have left and get a refill. ## The information provided by BL is correct, most pharmacies and insurance companies will allow a refill within a da...

I'm looking for a doctor who will prescribe oxycodone 30mg in or near tempe / phoenix, (Arizona). I'm willing to get an MRI and take UI if necessary. Would like to avoid injections. Please let me know. Thanks for your time. Any help would be greatly appreciated. ## You are willing to get an MRI? Ha lol, you need to rephrase that. Go get a damn MRI, actually get 2 of them simonmed and then one from another Imaging facility so you can have one with contrast as well as other medical records because you are not going to get s*** to relieve your pain, not even Tylenol with codeine, maybe or baclofen if you're lucky you might get ibuprofen 800 milligrams but anything else, good luck there pal. Go get all your all of your Imaging work done then come back to this forum and say you h...

Looking to get information on comparison of the blue oxycodone to the white round ones with 114 impinted on them... ## i just got them im curious myself ## There are a few different blue Oxycodone tablets on the market, so I can't really single out one over another as far as comparing them goes, unless you are able to provide me with an imprint for the blue tablet as well. If the blue pill that you are referring to is the same dosage as the white pill and they are simply manufactured by different companies, then it is clear to me that the only true difference between the pills is possibly the binders or fillers in each tablet (also known as inactive ingredients). Certain "inactive" ingredients that may or may not be present in each brand, are actually detrimental to how the ...

Updated in AspirinDoes anyone know if there is an ongoing lawsuit against the company who puts out Lyrica? I am a mess from it. Do we have a leg to stand on when it comes to the side effects they found out from people like us? I am a long termer. I have been taking 900 mg since 2005. Is there anyone representing us? Thank you ## Hi Vicky. Right now it looks like the primary lawsuits concerning Lyrica are centered around suicidal thoughts and behaviors. Very sorry to hear about your condition from this drug. I've heard of many individuals experiencing some dramatic side effects from long term use. That's just a shame. I definitely would not give up yet, because what you are saying is now coming to the forefront, so it's just the beginning. What has your doctor's response been to your deter...
I have a rheumatoid condition and am prescribed both Oxycodone and Tramadol. I alternate between them, not wishing to become addicted. What I'm unsure of is whether they are different enough chemically to prevent my body getting too used to either one. I also take a day off here and there, but I just feel very wary. I have to do pain management, but I just want to verify that taking Oxycodone one day and Tramadol the next doesn't strike my body chemically as being the same thing. Many thanks for any helpful response! (Cross-posted in oxycodone forum as well). ## From what I could gather, nih.gov classifies each drug under similar, but different drug categories: "Tramadol is in a class of medications called opiate agonists. It works by changing the way the body senses pain. O...
I have been taking Tramadol for almost 10 years in high doses 600 to 1000mg a day. I lead a productive life have a family but i know its time to stop. I cant even remember why I started taking Tramadol. I'm looking for any advice or experences amnyone else has had with withdrawing. ## Hello, DD! How are you? Since you've been taking doses that high, withdrawing could be dangerous and stopping it may be complicated, thus, it would really be best to get medical assistance doing so. The FDA lists the typical withdrawal effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, fatigue, diarrhea, fever, chills and seizures. Can anyone else chime in with their experiences? ## Yes, me to!! I take about the same amount or more a day. I have wanted to stop a bunch of times. I'm a middle aged ...
