I would really love an answer to my question/issue. I have been taking dilaudid for a while due to a terminal illness (I am looking at around 18 mos.-2 yrs. they tell me). I have been dealing with this illness for over a decade and no matter the narcotic medication, I really RARELY deal with withdrawal symptoms in the way I read about. I ran out of my meds for about 9 days after taking for many years and despite some unpleasant night sweats, that was it. It was my fault I ran out, should have called the doctor and let it go over a long weekend. He asked me how I could tolerate it and I told him it wasn't bad, the pain was very unpleasant but I had very mild withdrawal symptoms and have always been this way. I am 58 yrs old. I am in the final stage of Lumbar Spinal Stenosis. With this disorder I also have killer nerve pain, and numbness. In the past I have been on all of the oxy drugs. Took Methdone 40 4x a day for about 4 yrs. worked at first, but then declined. Next I was put on Opana 40mg. Twice a day. Did great on that until they changed the makeup of it, and it started to cause vomiting. I told my Dr. about it so he changed my meds to Morphine Sulfate 60mg twice a day. I started to take it, and 6 hours after I took it, it made me vomit horribly for 3 hours. This went on for 4 days. I called my Dr. and now he wants me to find another pain clinic Dr. He pretty much was my last option, for my area, and he is close to 2 hours away. Not long ago I was given by the pharmacy a Norco IP110. Where as I had pushed this bottle aside and forgot it, I was dumb. These are the same as M367 which is Norco, an opiate for pain relief. I as well was at my aunts and she had thrown about 50 of them away, as she thought they were generic tylenol from Walmart, though I had stopped her. My point is, when the pharmacy gives you NEW SHAPED pills and/or color etc., they often forget to post the bottle. I almost made a very big mistake. The way things are in the world, opiates are hard to get prescribed and I for one am allergic to everything but this. As a New Yorker I dont understand how I have heard Walgreens 100's of times on this Blog, is there an issue with mom and pop pharmacies? A Shortage of sorts? I personally dislike CVS, WALGREENS, etc..and just need to understand whats REALLY going on in Florida state. They should issue Medical Tags/Licenses to the real people in Pain across this country. They are already tying all the hands of doctors, pharmacies, and the pharmaceutical companies and most of all US! As a prelaw student you all should be questioning whether or not these "oxycodone overdoses" are legit ( I have done some homework and it turns out that anyone qualified to sign a death cert like a responding officer who happens to come upon an empty bottle of ocycodone can make this assumption without an autopsy,...

WHITE SMALL ROUND PILL, ONE SIDE HAS AN M WITH A SQUARE AROUND THE M.. AND ON THE OTHER SIDE THERE IS A SMALL NUMBER 15 ON HALF THE SIDE ## There is no 15mg Percocet tablet. Percocet contains Acetaminophen and Oxycodone and is only available with a maximum of 10mgs of the Oxycodone. my pain meds are not working as well i went from 6 a day to 10. ## Have you discussed it with your doctor? An issue that often occurs, after gastric bypass, is that many substances, including medications, don't get a chance to stay in your stomach long enough to be absorbed. The same can happen with foods, which is why people have to be careful not to become malnourished. Didn't they discuss any of these issues with you, before the surgery? ## I am 3+ years post-GB and have chronic back pain. I have a severe back injury and have been taking long and fast acting Oxycodone and Opana. When I was no longer able to get the Oxy's I was switched to Dilaudid and then when the Opana was stopped because it was stated that they took it off the market to reformulate it I was switched to Oxycontin and Dilaudid and then when the Dialudid was no longer available I was switched to Morhphine. Now I cannot get anything but for some reason they can fill the scripts for Hospice next door because I overheard the pharmacist talking about it. I like others depend on this medication to live somewhat of a normal life. It keeps me from having to file for disability and just sitting at home in pain and become depressed and being worse off than I am. At least I am a tax paying member of society and...

Do not mess with perc 30s. You will become addicted and it will ruin your life. Sure everyone thinks they could never become addicted but the percs will get you hooked fast. Stay away. I've seen good people turn into petty thieves to feed their addiction. If prescribed them be careful on how many you do a day because they are highly addictive and the withdraw is very intense. Do yourself and anyone who cares about you a favor and just stay away from them. I know from experience. As to why it contains sugar, I am not sure if there's a specific reason for it, but you might be able to check with the manufacturer to find out. wha is the diference between naproxeno sodium 550mg and percocet ## The primary difference notable between these two medications is that Percocet contains a narcotic pain reliever in addition to Acetaminophen. Naproxen is just Naproxen, without anything else. To put this into perspective, Naproxen in and of itself is not nearly as potent as Oxycodone, let alone the combination of Acetaminophen + Oxycodone (Percocet). I believe choosing one over the other all depends on what your pain management needs are and whether or not Naproxen on its own can meet those requirements.
