I received a red and white capsule and was told it was 30mg oxycodone is this true? I have seen all kinds of oxycodone but not this ## Hi Sandradee, There actually are red and white capsules containing Oxycodone; but not in a 30mg dosage. These capsules also contain Acetaminophen. The dosage I've seen for these specific pills are: Acetaminophen (500mg) + Oxycodone (5mg). Additionally, for verification, the national drug codes for these red and white capsules are: 00054-2795 and 00591-0737. Did you get this pill off the street by chance? That may explain a few things. I have been on Oxycontin for 18 months and have weaned myself off them. I am wanting to find out the long term side effects of the drug. I have been rather depressed lately, have bad mood swings, thoughts of taking my own life, so I need as much info as I can get A.S.A.P. would this be classified as oxycontin ? they are small pink pill--19mg ## Percocet contains Acetaminophen and Oxycodone in a regular release formulation, so the equivalent without the Acetaminophen would be Roxicodone. OxyContin is a time released formulation. Additionally, there is no 19mg tablet. Are there any markings on the tablet in question? ## Oxycontin is simply an extended release version of Oxycodone. Without Acetaminophen though, Percocet would just be Oxycodone (immediate release). Is there an imprint on the pill you are describing? Is there a capsule and what does it look like? ## There are capsules, but they are not the equivalent of Roxicodone, which is a regular release formulation, the name brand for them is OxyIR and there are generic equivalents, these are instant release capsules in 5mg doses. Give details on aceclofenac and paracetamol ## Aceclofenac and Acetaminophen (Paracetamol) are both nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory medications. There doesn't seem to be much information regarding Dilaudid and it's effectiveness (which I've found to be less useful than morphine and it is said to be 5 times more potent than morphine...). Is there anywhere else to look or do most people take Opana, there seems to be a ton of information and conversation, granted not so great, on Opana. Any guidance would be appreciated. I am in saint petersburg florida ## You're definitely not alone, as it seems like everyone in Florida is having complications trying to fill their oxycodone scripts, no matter the dosage. The best thing I can recommend trying at this point in time, is checking with sites such as PharmacyChecker, as they only list certified (reputable) online pharmacies. Although I am pretty sure that those pharmacies would require a prescription because PharmacyChecker puts them through a rigorous certification process. No imprint, just a score line on one side. ## I'm sorry, but if there is no imprint, then it is going to be very difficult to determine exactly what this tablet contains. Hi, I am having another spinal fusion on Aug 1st L4-L5-S1 for failed fusion. I have been told yes and no when I asked my different dr offices about leaving my patch on during surgery. Do I or not? I am terrified of doing the wrong thing and causing complications with anesthesia. Does anyone have any experience with this? If so, please tell me! If in doubt though, I would just go with your gut and leave it off during the surgery. This last prescription I got were white tablets with little green specs - one side has the letter V and the other side has 3594. I have only taken solid white tablets in the past for Hydrocodone Pills ## Hi Sandra, The one's marked V 3594 are simply made by a different manufacturer than what most people are used to seeing. Oblong white pills definitely seem to be the most commonly prescribed versions, while there are yellow, blue, pink, orange and green tablets as well. I've also seen the white ones with red specs. Keep in mind though that these colors and/or shapes are always subject to change depending upon the discretion of the manufacturer. I hope this helps!

Is there any lactose used as a binder in these pills?pills are round 00406-0512-01 ## Hi Annie, Based on the National Drug Code (NDC) 00406-0512, the inactive ingredients found in each Acetaminophen + Oxycodone tablet are: crospovidone microcrystalline cellulose povidone corn starch silicon dioxide stearic acid That said, there does not appear to be any lactose used in these pills. i am 47 and have been on this drug twice a day for around 3yrs and since taking i have had muscles spasms, twitching,constipation,feeling high,but the drugs works well so am not sure whether to continue and put up with these side effects which can be quite annoying or check with doctor about changing the drug ? what do you think ## Is the only one in this drug class that you've tried? In general though, Dilaudid has a pretty short half-life of 2-3 hours. Half-life here means that, say, 2 hours after ingesting Dilaudid, half of the active amount will be gone. This doesn't mean that 2 hours later, though, the other half will be gone. At that point half of the remainder will be gone, then another half after the same time interval, and so on, until the drug is eliminated from the body.
