It is manufactured by Qualitest Pharmaceuticals and they list it as containing 10mgs if Hydrocodone and 325mgs of Acetaminophen. The FDA classifies this medication as being a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with?
Will tramadol help with norco withdrawals? I am prescribed 6 10/325 per day and ran short. Will they take away the symptoms? ## @Auntie, Due to the serious nature of withdrawals I would probably encourage you to discuss this with your doctor before trying things out on your own, just to be on the safe side. Although I will say that a number of reviews I came across do "imply" that tramadol did help them manage their withdrawal symptoms for a period of time, whereas others ended up experiencing rebound effects shortly after stopping the tramadol. In either case it seems to me like everyone tends to respond differently and you might actually be better off getting a recommendation for a specific medication from a pain management doctor who already knows what options work best for t...
Hello, I live in Miami, Fl with chronic Guilliane Barre that is demyelinating, aka CIDP (chronic inflammatory demyelinating polyneuropathy). I've been taking Dilaudid for the pain, but can no longer find a pharmacy willing to fill it. I've been to all the big chains, Baptist hospital, mom and pops with no luck. Can anyone help me and let ne know if you know of any pharmacy that will fill Dilaudid for me please?
Updated in DilaudidMy Dr. prescribed Lyrica for me. I don't want to take it. My best friend gained 40lbs. Has anyone else had weight gain? ## I have been on it for at least a year now and have not experienced weight gain. This was/is extremely important in light of the fact that I had gained 35 lbs. which resulted from various antidepressants. I DID experience drowsiness/dizziness for two months but worked around it by taking 2 hours before getting up, naptime and then at bedtime. Best wishes. ## Thank you for responding! Madeline ## Yes! Extreme weight gain...40-45 lbs. I am trying to get off of it and having additional problems as well. See Problems with Lyrica post! ## Weight gain is a very common side effect of these types of medications. ## Yes, I have been on it for 2 years and have put on 15+ k...
I live in SF, SD & cannot get adequate pain management due to DEA. Actually several docs have left pain mgmt field because of it. I have addiction history although it's been years since I've been actively addicted I take meds as prescribed but can't get enough strength to manage pain. I suffer chronic migraines & have 7 herniated discs as well as other pain issues. Need a doc who knows about addiction & pain management. Any help would be appreciated greatly
Updated in OxycodoneI am having a mri tomorrow ......I am very claustrophobic so dr gave me a Valium RX....to relax me.....I am wondering is my Oxycodone RX would work better for relaxing me please help ## Sorry late reply but my Dr had me on both. Hope went well. ## @Sissy, Because these types of medications affect each person differently, there's really no telling how you'll end up responding to Oxycodone (a potent pain reliever) for the added purpose of "relaxation" - especially since that's not what it's specifically indicated/marketed for. In the event that Valium isn't working, what I would probably do personally is give the Oxycodone a trial period and see how it works for me over the course of several days/weeks. Or like post #1 stated, you could also ask your doctor if ...

I just moved to Fredericksburg/DC Metro area of Virginia from Florida. I have severe chronic spinal pain from bulging lumbar discs, bone spurs, spinal stenosis and scoliosis (in mid/upper spine). My doctor that was treating me in FL had me on 60mg MS Contin 2xday and 10mg Percocet 4xday. Which makes it able for me to function with a lowered amount of pain. I went through 3 other doctors over the years that prescribed too little or too much before I found him. I would like to find a doctor/pain clinic that will prescribe me the same or similar in/around the Fredericksburg/DC Metro area of Virginia as opposed to having to drive back to my Florida doctor every month. Does anyone know of any in these areas?
Updated in MS ContinI had my dr call in and approve for me to get my refill early. What can I explain to my new doctor to approve early refills due to the old office being closed? ## It sounds like this isn't the first time you've needed early refills, and since dr's can't refill controlled meds anymore, it doesn't sound like opiates, so why not have your doctor adjust your dose? I don't see what the problem is unless a piece of the puzzle is missing. Some things we CAN control, take a little stress out of your life. Good luck. ## Need to have my oxycodone filled early. Got 5/325s on the first but my doctor raised strength to 7.5/325s. Can I get this filled being so close to other ones on the first? ## I had the same basic situation happen to me recently. Script was written for 5-32...
My doctor that prescribed me Norco & Xanax RETIRED. I am looking for a compassionate doctor in the N Dallas, TX area that will prescribe these. Don't want to have to go to a pain clinic. ## Hello, Suzi! How are you? Unfortunately, due to the new restrictions set forth by the DEA last year, you'll likely need to see specialists now for both of these medications, it'll be very difficult to find a new PCP that will prescribe them for you. That likely also means one doctor for the Xanax and another for the Norco. According to the FDA, both of these medications carry the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects that may include nausea, dizziness, headache, irritability, dry mouth, drowsiness and constipation. Can anyone recommend a good doctor in that area that ...
Ive been very shocked with how much literature online there is, from patients relating terrible afflictions to taking Lyrica. Its just a guess, but Im pretty curious if maybe people having such bad responses is due to interactions with other meds?? Ive been on Lyrica, 150-225mg per day for several months for Rheumatoid Arthritis pain & Headaches. I haven't experienced any issue whatsoever and it has worked great for me. I wake up with NO pain at all for the first time in many years. I'm 31, Female and also take a few other medications but no problems whatsoever with the Lyrica. I was nervous after reading about people having weight-gain but I haven't gained a single pound. I just wonder if the weight gain is due to feeling better and not having pain, so obviously one wou...
I used to take Watson percocet and never had any problems and it took away my pain. The Actavis is nothing like the Watsons and have terrible side effects and feels like you are taking a placebo - NO pain relief. If you have to take more to get any type of pain relief you will suffer alot of GI problems. Anyone else notice this difference? ## Hi Lisa, While I don't have personal experience with Actavis products, I have heard numerous complaints about most of their oxycodone and percocet tablets being far below what is considered standard quality. I'm thinking there's a couple different things that may be at cause here. Excess amounts of binders/fillers are usually the first to be blamed for those who experience GI related issues. This is likely the case with most generic med...
I Took my prescription to a pharmacy to be filled and they said they couldn't fill it because that strength 10 325 doesn't exist anymore with Vicodin. They said the doctor should've made the prescription out for either 10/300 or Norco 10/325. I went to another chain pharmacy and they said there was no problem at all and they filled the prescription and said the law allowed them to generically fill the prescription with either Norco 10/325 or Vicodin 10/300 which ever they had available as long as it wasn't over 10/325. Who is right? ## Hello, Vann! How are you? Technically, both are right. The pharmacy has the right to refuse, since it was written like that, but they don't have to, because as the other pharmacy said, they can substitute. Thus, it would be up to the p...
How much hydrocodone 7.5-325 tablets is equal to one ounce of liquid hydrocodone of the same strength? Thank you ## You measure Liquid Meds by ml and cc. On the prescription bottle it states something like 5 ml equals Hydrocodone 7.5 mg/Acetaminphen 325 mg. 1 ml equals 1 cc. It is always best to use a spoon or syringe that is designed to be used to measure liquid meds. Regular spoons vary too much and you can't be sure of the dosage.
My dog got ahold of one of my oxycodone she weighs 13lbs ## Dear Rose, I would encourage you to call a local veterinary office as soon as your able to in order to ensure that your dog will be alright. I've heard of animals being prescribed narcotic pain meds like Tussigon (Hydrocodone), but knowing that Oxycodone is a much more potent pain reliever, I'd probably be concerned as well, especially based on the weight of your dog. I'm not a vet/expert in that field but from my own observations I would like to think that she should be able to recover within a matter of days if she hasn't already begun to show signs of improvement since your post. Hope this helps!
Small white scored on one side other side had 3 numbers over 2 number ## Hello, Amber! How are you? What were the numbers? I need this additional information in order to identify it for you. There are several prescription tablets that use this pattern on them, but only the precise numbers will enable it to be identified. Can you please post back and clarify? Thank you! ## It's a Small white round pill.about the size.of an aspirin It has 44 104 and is scored The other side nothing ## Thank you! That helps tremendously! This tablet is manufactured by Teva Pharmaceuticals and is an over the counter product that contains 500mgs of Acetaminophen, it is a generic or store brand of Extra Strength Tylenol. The FDA classifies this medication as being an analgesic and it may cause side effect...

He is constantly at the hospital for pain and its driving me nuts. then when he gets his script he takes 5 to 7 5mg each and tries to tell me it wont hurt him. Im worried and I don't know what to do for him I see him going down hill and this addiction is taking over his life yet he is in denial. help please ## Dear Tiffany, sounds like u r in a tough situation. I'm sorry 2 hear that. U c, the problem with people who abuse their meds r in denial most of the time. Or, they do know it and haven't hit rock bottom yet 2 admit it. Believe me, I went through it myself. Once I got sick and tired, I surrendered and got help. Have u trie 2 have a heart 2 heart talk with him? I know it'...
How long does hydrocoden take to be in system? ## Hello, Wendy! How are you? Since they are regular release tablets, it takes about 15 to 20 minutes for them to start entering your blood stream and have their desired effect. All of the medication in the regular release formulation is released at once. The FDA classifies this medication as being a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with?
