Will it Harm me to take two? I have endrometrail cancer and the pain is excruciating... Please help! ## Hello, Robin! How are you doing? I am very sorry about your cancer and the pain it's causing. As to the medication, I would suggest contacting your doctor about the issue. Generally, cancer pain has been known to respond better to Oxycodone or Fentanyl. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Are there any other questions or concerns? ## I have pancreatic cancer with Ibs pain. 30 mg of morphine sul er tab mal not doing ...
I have been taking a low dose Hydromorphone 2mg 3 times daily for 2 years now due to chronic pain from injuries I sustained in an accident. I want to eventually get off this drug all together, because truthfully I am afraid of this narcotic. My question is this, is it possible to experience side affects now after 2 years being on it? Recently, in the last few weeks I have been experiencing things that didnt bother me before with this drug. I dont know if its the drug thats doing this. I have severe drowsiness that comes and goes throughout the day, to the point where I have to hang on to the walI, it feels like I am going to pass out. I have abdominal pain, i am feeling fatigue and muscle pain throughout my body, and loss of balance alot. Is it possible to have these occuring now after ...
I was recently prescribed Hydrocodone with Tylenol. It is a new formula per the pharmacist (5-325). I have had this drug in the past and found that it worked well. This new formula isn't helping my pain. Can you tell me why? I know I had Lortab before. Is this the same drug? Thanks ## Hello, Kathleen! How are you? This isn't a new formula, nor a new dosage. There are several on the market that contain Acetaminophen and Hydrocodone, including Lortab, Norco, Vicodin and others. As to why it's not helping, it just might not be the right dosage or the right medication for you. Just because it has worked in the past, doesn't always mean it will work again, since our bodies do change with time. Learn more Vicodin details here. Have you contacted your doctor about it? ## That...
I am on 5-325. 7.5-325 is more expensive. can I cut a pill in half to get the 7.5 ## Hello, Charlie! How are you? No, that's not a good idea, because you will also get more Acetaminophen that way. You should only do that, if your doctor approves. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with? ## the hydrocodone even of 5 milligrams makes me so drowsy and dizzy and makes my hands jump and click and vibrate so badly I can't wait to get off of it Kathy
Hi, I have been on Fentanyl (Durogesic) about 8yrs. I started at 25mcg ended up to 100mcg every 48hrs. I have numerous chronic pain conditions. I had Glandular Fever then a few months later Ross River Fever (from a mosquito) I ended up with fibromyalgia and Chronic fatigue. I then had a work accident and had surgery to repair torn tendons in my shoulder. During surgery I had a stroke. Apparently there was no oxygen in the lines and this caused stroke. Things went downhill quickly from there. 56 ischemic strokes, a large cerebral aneurysm that required life saving surgery, a couple of smaller aneurysms that burst, I already had degenerative spine which got to the point I now have ruptured and bulging discs (ranging from neck to lumbar) and neuralgia in neck and jaw from the brain surgery. A

Updated in OxycodoneI was prescribed Meloxican 15mg for knee pain. RX bottle indicated 1 tab/4 times daily. Took 30 pills in short amount of time. Also was told to take acetaminophen between RX if needed. Went to refill RX and pharmacist said that original RX was written to be taken 1 pill/1 daily. (She wondered why I was refilling so quickly) So now I am concerned if I have taken a toxic amount of meds. I called poison control and was told there was no actual data to indicate toxic amounts of this RX. No side effects other than a little nausea and diarrhea. I have stopped taking RX and acetaminophen now. Any thoughts if I may have any permanent kidney or liver damage? (took 30 pills in 12 days and 58 years old) ## Hello, Yvonne! How are you? It may have done some damage, but the only way to find out for s...
Was taking 75mg Lyrica went to the hospital left side of body tighten from left of side of my head to waist. Spasms , jerking and tightness was so painful to the touch. Months later my neck and shoulders muscles still feel the pain. Now I am taking a muscle relaxers. ## Hello, MJ! How are you? I'm very sorry about what happened. Lyrica has been known to cause those types of side effects in some people that take it, as reported by the FDA. You may also experience nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth and weight gain. However, have you stopped taking it? If so, then the side effects should not still be lingering months later. Have you had an evaluations done to see if there may be some other cause? ## Have severe itching from water all over. Doctor prescribe Lyrica and Zyrtex daily. ...
Can anyone tell me what 30 mg of morphine er would be equivalent to if it were taken with alcohol? I read if you drink with morphine er it could release the entire pill into your system. I didn't know this when I was drinking beer with it. Thanks. ## Hello, Freida! How are you? No, I am not aware of any issues like that. However, drinking alcohol while taking it should generally be avoided, due to the fact that it can potentiate some of the side effects, so you may experience more nausea, drowsiness and dizziness than usual, as reported by the FDA. It is also warned that MS Contin carries the risk of being habit forming. Is there anything else I can help with? ## Thanks for the info. Much appreciated.
I've been on ms contin (morphine er 30 mg) 3 x daily. I was also taking doxepin 100 mg for sleep. Ended up with a massive headache & eye pain. Ended up in the e.r. where a nurse said the doxepin cancels out the morphine. Anyone know about this? ## No, I can't find anything on this, either. Similarly to your other question, this is another case where taking them together causes potentiation of the side effects, though. Thus, you could experience more intense nausea, dizziness and drowsiness than usual, as reported by the FDA. The Morphine itself can sometimes cause headaches in some people that take it, so can the Doxepin, so that may also have been potentiated and resulted in the severe headache/eye pain that you experienced, which sounds like it may have been a migraine. It...

However, I will keep looking. ## In Norway this is called Pinex Forte, and consists of 500mg paracetamol and 30mg codeine. Co-codamol Details ## I got the pill from Belize and was told it was Lortab 30mg but I'm not sure. It's a white circle pill, plain on one side and ParaCo 500/30 on the other side. What is it
Can u plz tell me wht this is k9 can't tell if it's white r lite green r blue ## Hello, Linda! How are you? This tablet is manufactured by KVK Tech and they list it as being blue and containing 30mgs of Oxycodone in a regular release formulation. The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with?
one of the side effects that I'm experiencing is my voice or losing my voice. is there any side effects that affect your voice when speaking ## Hello, Derrick! How are you? Usually, it's due to the fact that this medication can cause dry mouth and dry throat, as a side effect, which can make it seem that you're losing voice, or sounding hoarse. The FDA also warns that this is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Many people have found that frequently sipping water, or sucking on mints/candies can help. However, if nothing helps alleviate it, you should consult your doctor. Is there anything else I can help with?
I just want to know what does it have in it? ## Hello, Kay! How are you? This contains the active ingredient Acetaminophen, which is used to treat pain and fever. The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness and headache. Is there anything else I can help with?

I'm running out of pills and don't want to go to the doctor for anymore refills if I just stop cold turkey will I have withdrawals and if so how bad are hydrocodone withdrawals and how long do they last? ## I've been taking hydrocodone 7.5's for a year. I have a new prescription for Wellbeturin to help me quit smoking will that help with the hydrocodone withdrawals? I'm taking sulfamethoxazole and I got a headache. I usually take 3/200 mg of ibuprofen for headaches is that okay to take with sulfamethoxazole? ## Hello, Girl! How are you? No, Sulfamethoxazole can actually increase the levels of the Ibuprofen, which could cause toxicity and/or overdose, so this combination should be avoided, unless your doctor has said that it's safe for you to take them together. Side effects to this antibiotic may include nausea, dizziness, non-allergic skin rash and diarrhea. Is there anything else I can help with? ## can I take 400 milligrams of ibuprofen with oxyNEO 20 milligrams ## I took one this morning around 8 n took ibuprofen around 3 is that OK?
Greetings, I am a 57 year old female patient who is currently on 160 mg of oxycontin per day. I have SEVERE osteoarthritis, Fibromyalgia, and I have had three a surgeries sine 2004--all bone related. I M currently staving off a double knee replacement and lower back surgery for severe stenosis. There are days I can barely walk. The most recent issue I have is a collapsed arch in my right foot which is protruding through the bottom of my foot. I have medical records to back up all of these conditions. I am still able to work and hold a full time job; however, my doctor has recently moved to help his parents in another state and so far, no doctor is willing to treat me. Even if I willingly work with him her to decrease my level of medication to a lower dose. Even the pain clinic has turne...

Am legitimately in pain.ecywi ## I'm sorry, but the first piece of news I have for you is that they can't give you a 90 day prescription, the drug laws for controlled substances only allow doctors to write them for a maximum of 30 days and you have to be seen at an evaluation appointment each month to get a new prescription. Learn more Oxycodone details here. Additionally, under the new laws, if you require long-term pain management treatment, you'll have to see a pain management specialist. General practitioners and surgeons will only be able to prescribe them for short-term use, such a for a few ...
a yellowish, round (cylindrical) pill with rounded (convex) top and bottom...waxy coated with white interor, but interior has texture consistency similar to a hard gummy-bear candy. Chewing it is difficult, as tough dried-jelly-like interior is very cohesive and sticky...it tends to work its way into tooth's biting surface irregularities, and is compacted into spaces between teeth, where it can take 30 or more minutes to disolve. Taste is just like oxycodone but more subtle than Oxycontin. Not scored, smaller than a raisin, one side says OP and other side says 40. Is this the new tamper proof oxycontin?? ## That's exactly right, this is the new Oxycontin OP 40mg. Unlike the regular Oxycontin, if you try to crush or chew this one, it doesn't make a difference, it is specially...
