I I believe they're morphine sulfate 60mg extended release. Do you have a PDR book? ## HELLO!! Take one up to your pharmacist, or any pharmacy, and they will know what it is. ## @Lorde, There's no such thing as "hydro morphine", so I'm assuming you meant to say hydromorphone (the generic for dilaudid); which in an of itself is considered to be a potent analgesic. Regarding the pill ID, m...
I was on 60 mg and within 3 months I am on 25 mg and in a week I will be on 15 mg my concern is swollen face and double chin I am very disturbed please help me get rid of it within a week as I can't take it!!!!! ## This is going to sound crazy but it helps my swelling with my dilaudid (mostly belly and ankles and feet for me). I find if I take my dose with coca cola it works better and I swell less. I am not recommending you drink alot of it. I dont drink any coffee ever so this is my only caffiene most days. Most impotantly the more water you drink the better for swelling. It helps you pee out toxins. Make sure not to overdose on water though. ## Wysolone contains the active ingredient Prednisolone and the facial swelling that you've experienced can be a normal side effect of i...

Will switching to Percocet from lot tabs cause any withdrawal symptoms? ## Hello, Cat! How are you? In theory, it shouldn't, because the Oxycodone in Percocet is stronger than the Hydrocodone. However, the doses will matter, can you please post back with them? For example, for each 7.5mgs of Hydrocodone you were taking, you'd need 5mgs of Oxycodone to be equivalent. The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation.
Is it like vicodin or what could it be compared to? I was told it was a muscle relaxer. ## Hello, Cutie! How are you? TV is a manufacturers logo that is used on several prescription tablets, so can you please post back with the full marking? Is it TV 4096? If so, Teva Pharmaceuticals lists it as containing 10mgs of Baclofen and yes, it is a muscle relaxant, but no, you cannot compare it to a narcotic, because it is not an actual analgesic, it will only help with muscle spasms and pain. The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache and dry mouth.

Took sub first time today. Out of my norco. How long will it take for norco to start having an effect on me after taking a small amount of sub? ## Hello, Jerry! How are you? The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Yes, there is a 2mg Dilaudid tablet that's manufactured by Purdue Pharma, they list it as being orange and having a P on one side and a 2 on the opposite. It can be taken with or without food, but taking it on an empty stomach may cause you to experience more nausea and dizziness than usual. I was prescribed hydrocodone 10/325 for severe back pain and they did nothing for the pain, not even when I took two at a time. The doctor then prescribed dilaudid 4 mg, this too did not touch the pain at all. I took the dilaudid back to the doctor and had them dispose of them. They then prescribed oxycodone 5mg. These do nothing as well, I took two at once and just got a stomach ache. I stopped taking all pain medications as they just were not working. Yesterday, I found an old bottle of vicodin 10/325 that I had from a previous surgery and even though they were expired - I took one and it worked! Within an hour I had more pain relief than I have had since I began seeing my current pain doctor. I wonder if it is possible that someone at the pharmacy is substituting my prescriptions wit...

I am new to fentanyl treatment but no stranger to narcotic treatment for severe sciatica in my left leg. I was prescribed the 12.5mcg and the pharmacy gave me the Mylan 12mcg. My first patch didn't do anything for over 6 hrs. so I put another one on. Took a hot shower, went to bed and woke up the next morning pain free for the first time in a VERY long time. Since I was only given 5 patches to last me 2 weeks, I was wondering how long they really last. I've heard that there's actually enough fentanyl in each patch to last 7 days. Is this really ture?? ## Hello, Dewy5150! How are you? You really shouldn't take a hot shower or be exposed to much heat, while wearing the patch, it tends to make it release faster, which could result in overdose. The FDA classifies this medica...
This is my 1st post ever, anywhere. I am trying to get off Fentanyl. 7 years ago I was Rx'ed 25 mcg patches every 72 hrs. Went to every 48 hrs within a month. Went to a 50 every 48 to a 75 every 48 to the 100 mcg every 48 hrs.. Been on 100 mcg's (48 hrs) for several years now and I'm sick and tired of taking the patch. I have DDD, two failed rotator cuff surgeries as well as an elbow surgery (pain). The shoulder and back pain is the worst. I'm 52 years old, worked a steady job with Ma Bell as a lineman 25 years and wore my body out. Three weeks ago I started cutting my Mylan brand 100 mcgh patches in half. So far so good. I did notice that I started taking more of the Dilauid I'm rx'ed for breakthrough pain. My plan is to keep cutting the patches in half till I...

I was taking two of the 5mg imm rel and they seemed to take care of the pain better than th 15's do I'm confused ## Hello, James! How are you? There actually aren't any in the higher doses that are immediate release, the only immediate release ones available are 5mg capsules. The one you've asked about is a 15mg regular release tablet that's manufactured by Vintage Pharmaceuticals. They generally take about 15 to 20 minutes to start working. The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming a...
