Good Morning, I need help with this situation. I also have deterioation of my spine.I was sent to a Pain specialist. I was put on the generic Percocet 10/325 for 2 years . I was then changed to Fentanyl 50 mg. and taken off of the Percocet completely. I started feeling dizzy, my blood pressure went up, I started shaking, I could continue to go on. I noticed when I take my zanax I felt better, but it keeps coming back. I believe I'm going through withdrawal from stopping the Percocet. I found this big blue pill that a friend gave me I have herniated disc in multiple places she told me its for pain. But I'm not sure it's a big round blue pill and it says IKA I need help want to make sure. I've never seen this kind of pill before please help me !!!:( ## It sounds like paracetemol with codeine, similar to Tylenol with codeine. It combines Oxycodone with a low dose Naltrexone and so far, has shown to provide better pain relief, with less risk of physical dependence. The FDA classifies it as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. I've taken percocet 5's and 7.5's. Before and after knee surgeries. 7.5's are the best, but please everyone. The withdrawal from everyday use of percocet and especially oxycodone/oxycontin is like total death. You just want to die. The withdrawal lasts what seems like forever. Please be careful. Do not take heavy doses or for longer than 2 weeks tops. It's one of the worst withdrawals ever.

I have been on 30 mg morphine ir tablets two tablets every 6 hours and I'm always in pain. When I try to wean off it's crazy, I get jittery nausea, diarrhea, anxious and much more. I have been on it for over 14 years and now nothing else seems to work. My body is immune! And my DR won't give me nothing else. I get it for migraines and back pain!

I went to the hospital and they gave me Dilaudid and Ativan through my I.V. How long do these stay in your system? One shot of Ativan and through out the night 3 shots of Dilaudid. ## I have been taking oxycodone 5/325 for a while now. I took 24mg of dilaudid over 3 day period. Norco is the brand name by Watson for 10mg Hydrocodone and 325mg of acetaminophen, they also make the generic. Norco is yellow in color and caplet shaped.Originally it was only 10mg, now it's 7.5 and 5, hydrocodone and the same Tylenol in all. Has no codiene in it. PF one side 80 other ## Any body know a doctor that will perscribe 80 mg oxycontin. I suffered nerve damage in my leg and also my right arm. I cannot feel anything but pain. It has almost come to the point as to where I can not sleep at night so when I wake up to go to work. I am extremely tired cause I can't sleep due to the pain. Does it hurt the op 40's if they are cut in half? I don't like to take the whole pill at once. ## Since these are time released tablets, it isn't advisable that you cut them in half, because even with the new formulation, it could still result in the Oxycodone being released faster, so you get too much in your body, at once. It would take 800mgs of Codeine to equal each 80mg dose of Oxycontin, thus you couldn't possibly safely take enough of them, because that would be approximately 27 pills and that would result in an overdose, especially with the Acetaminophen in the Tylenol 3. Hi. I have been on 60 mg of morphine sulfate for 3 years. Me and my doctor talked about either upping my dose of morphine or changing it, so we went with a higher dose of morphine. I just had knee surgery may 3rd.I had Hydromorphone and ran out and because of the slow healing process that i am experencing,My Doc gave me hydrocodone 5/325's.He said to take 1-2 every for pain,but it doesn't seem to be working.Should I wait a while longer to see if it does.I DON'T want to take very high does of acedaminophin because of liver damage. ## You can take Ibprofin with this. ## You are correct to worry about taking too much of the Acetaminophen, not only does it risk liver damage, but it can be toxic if you take too much of it in a day. At doses over 4grams/4,000mgs, it can be toxic and put you in life-threatening danger. Because of this, I'd suggest talking to your doctor, before adjusting the amount you are taking. I have MS and have used vicodin for specific MS related pain relief for over 4 years. I had been taking 7.5-500 vicodin but they have since been discontinued due to the high level of acetaminophen. I take up to 4 pills a day of 7.5-325 vicodin. My question is would changing from 7.5-325 to 10-325 vicodin create the possibility that I may not need up to 4 pills per day? Under current U.S. prescription drug laws, all manufactured tablets and capsules must have markings on them that enable them to be identified in case of emergency. For example, say someone is found unconscious with pills strewn around them, the paramedics would need to know what they had taken in order to provide proper treatment and they can find out, by looking at the markings on the pills and checking in the databases to see what they contained.
