If so, they are manufactured by Mallinckrodt Pharmaceuticals and they list them as containing 5mgs of Oxycodone, the same opiate that it is in Percocet, but without the Acetaminophen. The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation.

While Ibuprofen is a nonsteroidal anti-inflamamtory and its typical side effects are listed as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, increased risk of bleeding ands stomach irritation. Hi everyone, I've been taking tramadol for a few years for a severe spinal stenosis, knee pain both knees (work related) upper arm pain, osteoporosis arthritis, etc. When I first started taking tramadol it was for a broken metatarsal in my right foot. I was originally given Vicodin, but I made me too loopy so took it to my doctor and asked for something else, he prescribed ultracet. It was great, no loopiness at all, I was still able to drive, work, etc. This became my drug of choice for pain. I requested it when I broke a metatarsal in left foot, then a fractured right big toe. I have been on this pump/meds since 2/24/09 but prior to pump placement l was on oral meds for about 3-4 yrs. I have a really bad case of a bone deterioration disease, now they also have discovered scoliosis, the reason for my poor position while standing. I also had numerous surgeries, 2 disc fusions, 2 knee replacements and a hip replacement. As time goes by l have needed adjustments with the meds. I have multiple sources of pain resulting in three surgeries in two years(detailed shoulder & foot/ankle and sinus) and have been on numerous pain medications throughout the healing and PT aspects of healing. I also have had four epidurals and six other neck/back injections during this time. When my pain was so severe my BP shot to 190/120 and I felt miserable, I was put on Hysingla 30, then later 40mg. How long will 3 Percocet stay in your system? ## Quite awhile. Each dose has what is called a half-life, this refers to the time it takes for the medication to reach 50% off its working amoung in your body. Half-life varies according to dosage, so the more you take, the longer it takes to reach that 50% level, then it slows from there and takes about twice as long, or more, to reach a level where it is no longer detectable in the body. Since you did not give a dosage, I cannot give you an exact time frame, but how long you have been taking it will also have an effect on the length of time it takes to be purged from the body. I have just moved here five weeks ago from Birmingham, Alabama. I now find that I cannot get a doctor to prescribe the pain medications that I have been using for some five years. I have had three cervical surgeries and one lumbar surgeries. I have among other things, degeneration of the spine. I also have a list of about seven other maladies that I can't begin to name because of their names. I am in constant severe pain without my Exalgo and Hydromorphone. I will run out in ten days and I'm told that I won't be able to even get into a doctor who prescribes these types of meds for at least five weeks. What do they expect me to do in the meantime? I take Percocet 10/325 4X daily for pain. I fell and caused myself more pain than normal, so for a few days ended up having to take more than suppose to, causing me to run out early. So the night before my appointment I took one Percocet 10/325 so it would at least be in my system knowing that if levels were tested it would not be right. So the Dr tells me that I tested positive for Opana but didn't say if my levels were low. Why did I test positive for Opana? ## You probably already got am answer to this, but oxycodone (percocet) metabolizes into oxymorphone (opana) Your Dr. should know this and NOT have given you a hard time at all!

I tested positive for oxycodone but don't take it. I'm on a lot of pills for a bowel condition including protonix. I have heard that this will cause a false positive. is that true ## I just tested positive for morphine and I have not used any illegals in years. So this really bummed kicked me when I was told I had a positive. Only two possibilities, one poppy seed muffins , or pantoprazole . One of these caused a dirty UA, thats all I know.

I only take maybe 2 perk 30s a week. I have a lab test this coming Wednesday and wanted to take a perk 30 tonight. Like I said I only take maybe 2 a week. 6'1 225 pounds. I've been taking this for a severe foot injury now after my second surgery I want to stop altogether! Before I started taking ms contin my pain doctor had me on percocet 10/325 6 tablets daily. I'm in much less pain and I'm tired of the side effects! How do pain management doctors wean people off of this? ## They decrease the daily dosage. Talk to your dr and tell him that you pain is less and that you want to taper off of the MS Contin. Tell him that there are times that you still need pain meds, but not 27/7.

I did two 15 milligram roxys Thursday and 2 more Friday and had a pisstest Wednesday and nervous as hell. Is that enough time to clean up for it?
