A friend of mine received some white watson853's I took 3 and felt nothing. And I live in a very small town in thevery middle of the US . I guess what I'm saying is they got here in new the Boones fast! ## Unfortunately fake pills are continuously being dispersed all across the country and the scary part is that they're pressed to look identical to their real counterparts; potentially containing anything from poisonous substances and illicit drugs to other harmful inactive ingredients. However if you fill your prescription at a licensed pharmacy you shouldn't have to worry about a thing. Personally, I just don't think risking one's life for such a temporary fix is worth it and I truly hope those who really need this medication consult with their doctor for a safe...

THE 853 NORCO DOES NOT HELP MY PAIN AS WELL AS THE YELLOW TINTED ONES. PLUS THEY UPED THE PRICE DOUBLE. ## I used CVS for my prescriptions until last month, when I tried Walgreens to fill my script for Norco 10/325. When I saw they were white instead of yellow I thought I was given the 5/500 strength in error, since I knew those are white. I have a red unmarked capsule. Was told it's a 15mg hydrocodone. They said they had to be special made. Is this true? Is it a 15mg or could it be more? ## Hello, Rose! How are you? It is possible, but short of testing the contents of the capsule there is no way to be sure. A doctor can order a special formulation of any given prescription medication, which would then need to be made by a compounding pharmacy, but in general, they use plain white or clear, unmarked capsules. My pain mgt MD gives me oxycodone IR 30mg but I cut in two and see if pain goes below 5 of 10 after 1 hr after first dose of half tab, if not I then take the other half. So far since my leg reconstruction surgery 7 weeks ago I have needed the full 30mg every time. Here is my question: Will I get a longer time of pain relief and thus a longer time period of my sense of well being when pain is gone by (1) taking the 30mg at single dose q 4 hrs or by (2)taking 15mg q 2 hrs, of course not taking the 2nd 15mg dose if pain<5? It seems to be cumulative but not in any consistent way that I can get a pattern tracked for optimal benefit? Originally, the difference between these brands was the dosage, however, due to the changes which have been made to the amount of Acetaminophen they can use in them, that is no longer true. It is really best to just consider them all to be the same, they contain varying doses of Hydrocodone with 325mgs of Acetaminophen, though there are rare cases where the Acetaminophen may be lower. why does taking my hydrocodone/acetaminophen 5-325 TB before I go to sleep at night make me have less pain during the day? ## Apparently, it works very well for you, there's really no other explanation that can be given for this. Medications sometimes work better for some people than for others and it's usually matter of trial and error to find which one works best for you, without causing unwanted side effects. I have a new doctor my old doctor left and his partner took over.i have been taking Oxycodone for over 25 years for CRONIC cluster headaches. I was taking 12-13 a day with no brake through.he dropped me down the first new visit to 6 a day or 180 a month, he did a saline test and I have been taking them only when I needed them because I think he's going to dump on me and now days doctors don't give out pain meds so I'm trying to stock up. having back surgery, don't know if docter will check for oxy but I have no choice but to take a 40 M.G. once in a while, don't want to be dirty afraid he might cancel surgery. ## You need to tell your dr because it could cause problems with the anesthesia. ## BL is correct, this isn't something that you can keep hidden. Anytime you are going to be having anesthesia of any type, your doctor needs to know everything you're taking, even over the counter products. Anesthetics are very touchy and can have dangerous interactions with many medications. I filled my Rx at a different pharmacy to save time and received this version of Percocet a333. It's terrible! The regular ones I receive (by a completely different manufacturer than this or Watson) work pretty well. My issue is just worsening so They just aren't effective. Then when I opened this bottle, noticed the texture was different. It was early morning and dark so I took my normal 1/2 so I can go back to sleep. Felt no relief like I normally feel enough to sleep comfortably. Had to double check to make sure I didn't put Tylenol in one of the bottles for travel. Took the other half. I have been on 20mg of oxycontin and 10mg of oxycodone for pain and I had rotator cuff surgery 5 weeks ago. I thought I'd cut back on the meds and experienced the withdrawals. Now I'm not sure what to do? I need the pain meds for my physical therapy so going off them isn't possible although I think I'm tolerant and it hardly works for my pain after p.t. I'm hoping someone understands what is going on with me. I have chronic pain from fibromyalgia. I've been on Percocet for a year. Approx. 2 1/2 hours after I take a pill, my pain starts to return. NO WAY is Pliva 434 generic for percocet, oxcodone or acetaminophen! It does not contain any of these drugs and it is not even related to any of them!
