I am 25 years old.. I got married 8 month back. I'm planning for pregnancy so my doctor prescribed me loprin 75mg when I went for my first checkup..but in the pharmacy they have given me ecosprin-75 (aspirin gastro-resistant tablets in 75mg)...I want to know whether both are the same or not? ## Yes, they both contain Aspirin as the active ingredient. The FDA lists the typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, increased risk of bleeding, and stomach irritation. Is there anything else I can help with? ## Diagnosis is CAD. Dr prescribed Ecosprin 150 Can i take asprin 150 instead. Are they both same? ## Is headache normal?

hot pink oblong pill with BARR on one side and 470 on the other side ## Hi, Sharon! How are you? I'm sorry, but I haven't been able to find anything that matches this description, so far. Can you please double check the imprint and post back? Does anyone else recognize this tablet? I'll keep searching and post back, when I have information for you. ## large oval hot pink pill marked BARR and 470 is Propoxyphene N 100 I believe... I found an old bottle of some in the back of my medicine cabinet while moving... ## Did you ever figure this out ? We have came across the same pill. Pink with Barr 470

What is this pill? I was told percocet 15 mg but I have my doubts. ## Well, first off, there are no 15mg Percocet tablets. Percocet contains Oxycodone and Acetaminophen and it is only available with a maximum of 10mgs Oxycodone and 325mgs of Acetaminophen. As to the tablet in question, it is an over the counter product that contains 325 mg of Acetaminophen (NDC 57344-001 among others). Inactive Ingredients: - Povidones - Starch, Corn - Sodium Starch Glycolate Type a Corn - Stearic Acid ## Is it Tylenol 3? ## No, it is not. Tylenol 3 contains Acetaminophen and Codeine, whereas this pill only contains the Acetaminophen.

So, I found out the hard way this past weekend, that Kratom and Contrave shouldn't be taken together. I've repeatedly told my Dr and his NP that I use Kratom for pain management after coming off prescribed opiates for years for a bulging disc in my lower back. I've been taking kratom regularly for 2yrs. When Dr asked if I was on Opiates when prescribing the Contrave Friday, my response was, "no. I've been off Norcos for almost 3yrs and use Kratom for my pain management." He had no issue prescribing me the meds. I started taking them Friday and started going in to full opiate-like withdrawals before the evening was over. I didn't know what was happening until I took my meds Saturday then drank my normal kratom dose a few hours later, again felt like I was dyin...

There is a football-shaped white pill that is getting everybody confused. I would like the pictures of both and an explanation with them please. It has "M2A4-57344" on the pills. Some say it's Tylenol, some say Oxycodone or Hydrocodone with Acetaminophen. Are there two exact same pills with the same numbers, and if so, how do you tell the difference? ## Edwards, there is only one tablet available with this marking and it contains 500mgs of Acetaminophen; a generic or store brand of Extra Strength Tylenol. Pill Size: 17mm Ref: DailyMed Sometimes the listed manufacturer may vary, depending on who is distributing it, since the rules are not as strict for over the counter medications. Which is better for pain? Tramadol, Hydrocodone apap 5 325, or Tylenol 3? I am on blood thinners ## Tramadol is stronger. I'd research about the blood thinners. Might help to know that Tramadol is relatively new on the market, researchers might not have all of the facts. Ten years ago, the word was that it was NOT addictive. Now we know that it is Still, it is a nice, less ominous, alternative to narcotics. ## Hello, Shelby! How are you? In order of strength and efficacy… Tylenol 3 is the mildest you've listed, then Tramadol, and the strongest is the Hydrocodone/APAP. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with?...

As I wrote in another thread, the pharmacies are not getting real Norco. I used to get Watson by Actavis or Norco by Allergan! My last Rx was generic by Mallinckrodt. And it is junk weak and does no good for pain. I was getting Norco by Allergan and it as 100 percent best. This company was purchased by AbbVie and Allergan separated. And when I sent an email to them they replied Norco was stopped December 2020. I also asked them if they were going to make any thing that would equal Norco. Never got an answer! So you people in pain for years or need stronger drugs, you are not getting it. All we get is generic and half the pain. I was paying 50.00 copay and was getting my Norco! Now I am getting some junk generic by Mallinckrodt! All junk. You have to double up your pill for any treatment...

Is there a new 30 milligram oxycodone with M on one side and 30 on the other that is dark blue instead of light blue? ## I do not believe that there is. I came across this blue m30 before. I bit into the tab to taste that familiar taste and it was a tasteless chalky substance... In other words fake. Just my experience.... ## To my understanding, the round light blue 30mg Oxycodone pill by Mallinckrodt with [M] on one side and "30" over a score line on the back has been around for quite some time & appears to be the only legitimate version with this imprint/depiction. If yours is dark blue and it's not from a licensed pharmacy then it's probably counterfeit. And if it is from a licensed pharmacy then I would contact the pharmacy (or manufacturer) directly for more spe...

Can I still take hydrocod/acetam 7.5-325 mg if I put on a 25mcg fentanyl patch 2 hrs ago? I'm still in horrible pain from ruptured disk on a nerve. ## Hi Katie, sorry to hear about your pain. No, you should not take a medication containing Hydrocodone or any other opioids with your Fentanyl patch, as they could result in an overdose. What could end up happening is severe central nervous system (CNS) depression which could result in difficulty breathing, coma, or worse. Best wishes with your pain management. Please let your doctor know if the 25mcg patch is not helping enough. ## That would depend on your opiod tolerance.... I used to be on 75mcg Fyn patch & was also on 6-10/325 hydrocodone a day b4 the gov issues. I had no problems with them BUT I was on an ever increasing climb...

It is generic lorcet 10-650. Just picked up a script. About the same as lortab 10, norco 10. And has less acetaminophen than vicodin. ## No, it doesn't have less Acetaminophen, considering this has one of the highest doses of it that's presently available in these combination medications, so I'm not sure who told you that. The most commonly prescribed doses of this narcotic medication contain 325mgs or 500mgs of Acetaminophen and this one has 650 mg. There is only one that's higher than this and it has 750mgs in it. However, what should be noted here is that soon all doses over 325mgs will be removed from the market in regards to these combination prescription products. Due to concerns about the dangers of organ damage or failure that can happen with long term use, as we...

The FDA warns that it carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, constipation, and dry mouth. Although many have said one drug is the same as the other I find that Qualitest hydrocodone 10/325 seems to not affect me as far as making me drowsy and extremely tired. It does so help with the pain but it does not make me so I can not function. The other manufacturer Mallincor (spelling not right) their hydrocodone makes me so tired I have to literally go to bed. Strange I think that if two drugs are identical how can they have different effects to you. I prefer to not take any hydrocodone but until I am through this pain I prefer to take the one that does not comatose me. ## While they contain the same active ingredients, there can be fluctuations in the amount of them that are in generic medications, additionally, the inactive ingredients can be entirely different. Thus, the one fro...

I have been prescribed oxycodone 5 mg. IMM REL capsules to be taken 2-3 every 4 hrs. for shingles pain. I have never taken this before, however I have chronic pain due to a right hip injury 6 years ago and normally take fiorinal #3 for that and also migraine headaches. I am in a'lot of pain and I am praying this med. will help. I was also prescribed lyrica 75 mg, Valtrex and I already take lexapro and zanax if needed. I am very cautious with medicine. Does anyone have any advice for me? ## Oxycodone is a very potent narcotic pain reliever, it is also highly addictive. The IMM REL stands for Immediate Release, which means the medication is released immediately to start helping with your pain, rather than taking 15 to 20 minutes like regular release tablets. Aside from the addictive p...

just read something interesting on wiki-answers.com: that Endocet & Percocet NB are the exact same formula, same exact ingredients, (no different fillers or anything), made by the same company, (Endo).
