When I return home I will request to my doctor to replace these for me and surrender these, go through this the rest of the month??? No thanks, can't function like this at all. I am VERY thankfull you were here to support the fact it's not just me going through this. Shameful really. ## Unfortunately yes, many people have been complaining about this product from Aurobindo. Not all, but a large number of people have had issues with it. The FDA warns that this medication carries the risk of being habit form...
ORANGE WITH ABC 60 AND ROUND ## what is fibermyaligia? Why does it cause so much pain? What type of meds. should i be on? ## Depends on the maker. One is as the posted states, another from Purdue Pharma is also orange with one side having an M and 60 underneath it and other side a PF, this is a tablet form. King Pharmaceuticals has it in capsule form and it is green and white under the name Avinza. The green part has Avinza and the white has 60 mg. ## ABG 60 contains 60mgs of Morphine ER, a generic for MS Contin, this is a 12 hour time released formulation. Morphine is a narcotic analgesic. Common side effects may include: nausea, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. You can read more here: Did you have any other questions? ## Raymond, Fibromyalgia is used to describe an unexplained ...
Is this the same as taking Percocet yellow oblong pill one dide says percocet the other says 10/325 are they as strong? ## Hello, Kim! How are you? Yes, it is just a generic version of it. There can be slight fluctuations, as permitted under the Hatch-Waxman Act of 1984, but the only way to see if helps you is by trying them. The FDA warns that this medication carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth, and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with?
Got some 25mg amitriplytine and guy told me it is a percoet 15mg are they close to see feeling from doing them to releieve pain ## Hello, Eddy! How are you? NO, Amitriptyline is an antidepressant, thought it can sometimes help with some types of nerve pain, it must be taken consistently for several weeks, before it usually starts to help. It does not have any immediate pain relieving properties like Percocet does. The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth, and weight changes. Is there anything anything else I can help with?

My dr thinks i am just not taking it but i am how can i show the test is wrong! ## I'm in the same boat as you are - my urine tests keep coking back negative for my methylphenidate even though I'm taking them as prescribed! Not sure why but afraid my Dr will drop me if he thinks I'm not taking them ## I take invokana for diabetes will this flush out my oxycodone and give me a false negative i am also taking ...
I think my my drug store gave me generic instead of my regular brand name of OxyContin and charged me the same price ## Hello, Poopoo! How are you? At this time, there is no generic available for it. There is Oxycontin, which should have an OP on one side and 40 on the other side of the tablet, which is manufactured by Purdue Pharma and there is Xartemis, which is manufactured by Mallinckrodt Pharmaceuticals, I believe there are couple others the FDA has approved, but they are not commonly available, yet. However, all are name brand medications, in time released formulations, with abuse deterrent features. The FDA warns that this medication carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth, and constipation. What are the m...

Updated in OxycodoneI have spinal STENOSIS and need Darvocet. I cannot take aspirin or Non Inflammatories. I have a script from my doctor. ## I'm sorry, but Darvocet has been removed from the market in the U.S., Canada and most other countries. It contained the active ingredients Propoxyphene and Acetaminophen and the Propoxyphene was found to be cardiotoxic. Learn more: I'm very surprised that your doctor wasn't aware of this information. There are, however, other narcotic analgesics on the market that contain Acetaminophen, rather than NSAIDs, so you may want to discuss using on of them with your doctor. Percocet, which contains Oxycodone and Acetaminophen is the most commonly used. Are there any other questions or comments? ## There is nothing wrong with Darvocet. Just some people who overdo...
Hi everyone/anyone...I was told that the round white oxycodone 10/325 made by mylan with a National Drug Code of 00378710601 (the only one that worked for me)..was not being made/suppled anymore... ## Yes it is. I got it a few mos ago after Surgery ## Hi Church lady, I'm looking at the timing of the original post when Wanda stated that it was not being made/supplied anymore, and it just so happens that July is only a few months away from October (the timing of your post when you said you "got it a few months ago"). So my guess is that you may have got the last of it around the same time frame Wanda posted this thread. It's the only logical conclusion I could come to. Just wanted to help add some closure to this reasoning. Has anyone else out there managed to find a worki...
I've never taken oxycodone/acetaminophen 7.5/325 in my life until yesterday for pain. I took a total of 1 3/4 pills total and don't plan on taking any more. I took 1/2 pill at 10 am, another 1/2 at 2 pm, 1/2 at bedtime and this morning I cut the remaining 1/2 pill in half and took that at 7 am. When would it be safe to drink wine? It is now 12 hours after I took the last 1/4 pill. ## Hello, Olivia! How are you? After 12 hours it should fine, but it would be best to double check with your pharmacist to be certain. The main reason you are told not to drink with it is due to the way alcohol tends to worsen the side effects, which can include depression of the central nervous system. In some cases, if someone indulges in too much of either one, there is a risk of death, according to...
I am needing help finding a pain management physician in Nashville. My present pain clinic is no longer going to take my insurance. Hoping to find someone who won't be so conservative. I have a failed back surgery, sciatica and piriformis syndrome. I have been on hydrocodone for over 3 years and 4 a day is the highest I've been prescribed. I also take MS Contin 30mg twice a day and MS Contin 15mg mid afternoon. Nothing is really helping like it used to. It seems the clinic I've gone to doesn't do much stronger meds. There has to be a physician who will realize that my pain has worsened over the years and my body is used to what I've been taking. I just need good pain management so that I can continue to work. I am a nurse who struggles many days due to the job being so
Updated in HydrocodoneI have an off white /light yellow round tablet with 230 on one side and a weird logo on other side it looks sorta like pacman. Can u tell me what it is? ## Hello, Joe! How are you? Yes, this tablet is manufactured by Alvogen and they list it as containing 10mgs of Oxycodone and 325mgs of Acetaminophen, a generic for Percocet. The FDA classifies this tablet as a narcotic analgesic, so it carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with?
I have been taking 60mg ms contin extended release 3 times a day + 30mg oxycodone immediate release 4 times a day. Recently my doctor changed the oxycodone to morphine 30mg immediate release. He also added lyrica 75 mg and I also take baclofen 10mg & amitriptyline 50mg in which i take 2. I'm still in constant pain. I was shot 8 yrs ago and I still hardly feel relief. What will help me? ## Hello, Shy! How are you? Oxycodone is one and a half times stronger than Morphine, so the dosages are not equivalent, which likely explains why you are in pain. The FDA warns that this medication carries the risk of being habit forming and it may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth, and constipation. As to the Lyrica, that may take 4 to 5 weeks, before it reaches ...
I've taken prescribed amount of 5/325-Norco or hydrocodone today for lower back bulging disc, DDD, nerve damage. Pain is not controlled this pm. How soon can I safely take oxycodone tonight? Can I safely take a norco and an oxycodone at different times on the same day. (If the norco at first does not help my pain.) Norco first gave some relief when first saw pain management Dr. and primary care Dr. As more time goes by my original RX is not helping ongoing pain. Thank you ## Hello, Robyn! How are you? That can be done, if your doctor approves, they are often prescribed together to manage severe pain, or when being switched from one to the other, the next dose is usually just switched out with the new one. However, self-medicating could be dangerous and may result in overdose, if som...
Does anyone have experience switching from large doses of Kratom (25g a day) to a Butrans patch? Is the Kratom strong enough to give precipitated withdrawals? The Butrans is for pain. ## That's an interesting question because it's usually the other way around, with patients switching from prescription opiates to Kratom. Having taken Kratom myself, my opinion is that I don't think it'll stop Butrans from working altogether, but if your opiate receptors are already filled by Kratom then Butrans may only add to the level of cross tolerance if I'm not mistaken (and affecting drug efficacy from a tolerance standpoint / not enough receptors to fill?). Some feedback I've read also suggests taking a short break from Kratom during the transition to allow other opiates to ...
This drug is reportedly available at Oakwood hospital in Dearborn, Michigan off of Oakwood blvd. ## I have been getting my pain medications there for a year because I have a catastrophic illness that just requires maintenance to keep me comfortable. I was there picking up my medications couple weeks ago and I get a note stapled to one of my bags that says they will not fill my pain medication any more. This was after they had me transfer every medication that I take per month which is 10 of them from a pharmacy that is by my house. Oakwood pharmacy is an hour and 15 minute drive. I haven't decided how to go about speaking to them and asking them why they will no longer feel them because they would not give me an answer. If anybody has any suggestions please let me know.
I have been loosing teeth (they r rotting and then falling out. Could this be from taking exalgo(hydromorphone) 32mg re for the 4 years ## Yes, it certainly could be. Opiate medications cause dry mouth, which allows bacteria that cause decay to remain on your teeth longer than usual, your saliva is typically a big help in washing some of it away. Additionally, they tend to leech minerals from the body, such as vitamin D and calcium, which can cause your teeth to become softer, so they decay easier. The NIH and FDA have several studies and articles available about this. You may want to speak to your dentist about doing some fluoride treatments and then putting a sealant on them to help prevent damage. Another good idea would be to keep your mouth more moist, frequent sips of water, or su...
I take them For my pian for my lower back it has obia in the medication its hydrochlodone ## Hello, Anna! How are you? Did you mean Hydrocodone? It is classified by the FDA as a narcotic analgesic, so it carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth and constipation.
Not seein doc for weeks pain getting worse just tryin different pain drugs ## Hello, Shaz! How are you? And yes, all drugs have the potential to do harm, if used improperly. Lorazepam is not a pain medication, it is a benzodiazepine that's used to treat anxiety and nervous disorders. Learn more Lorazepam details here. And Fentanyl is a very potent narcotic analgesic that's over 80 times stronger than Morphine. Learn more Fentanyl details here. Both of these drugs have the potential to be addictive and taking too much of them could cause a fatal overdose. Why don't you see your doctor sooner, if you can? ## Please be careful mixing medications. As we get older our body does not process medications the same. Especially with narcotics. Please contact a pharmacist they are Docto...
I have two different yellow c 230s side by side and with the 230 straight across lined up side to side and flip perfectly around and the c's don't line up and one has specs of something and looks old and the are not hard hard nor do they snap when broken. ...? ??? ## The pill description you provided is indicative of generic 10/325 Oxycodone HCL + Acetaminophen; made by Alvogen. For verification, the pill itself carries a National Drug Code of 47781-230. I don't know how they feel or what they look like when they're broken, but if you received these from a licensed pharmacy, you can be sure they are real. The NDC link also contains a list of inactive ingredients. I hope this helps!
