I have taken morphine ER 30mg for many years. I just received a different brand and the pill is much larger and does not work as well as the smaller pill I am use to. My husband has been on Kadian 80 mg for over a year. Now all of a sudden the Pharmacy's are saying that they don't carry it and ordering will take two weeks.....does anyone know why Pahrmacys give you such a hard time. Need to find pain clinic that r taking new patients & treat with opioids I have spondolosys & stenosis have been being treated with Fentynal & perclocet for 15 years. I have a small white round pill with a preforated line on one side and blank on the other side. The pill is not flat, but rather curved on each side and the edges are flat. The size is small. It is supposed to be Citra Tramadol, but nothing tells me that it is. I'm guessing from Mexico. How can I be sure? ## I'm sorry, but the operative word here is Mexico. Yes I found these in a generic Walmart brand of tylenol, 500 mg. I buy them all the time and they are normally printed with L484. I always check before I take them because I am on a lot of medication and don't want anything mixed up. Of course I just freaked out on my kids and husband thinking somebody had brought narcotics of some kind in to our house. ## Hi Kerri, Sorry to hear about what happened between you and your family. I've been using the the 25mcg patch for chronic pain for 3mos. and feel it is not working as well as it did in the beginning. Could I be building a tolerence this soon? Should I ask my neurologist to increase the dosage? or should I ask for other pain med to use with the patch? ## You have definitely built up a tolerance. Also, the problem with extremely strong narcotics like fentanyl is when you become dependent (NOT addicted, big difference), your brain starts to send out a false sense of pain that is telling you that you need more and more. It is all up to you and your doc. The more and the longer you stay on it the worse it will be to get off of it (withdrawals). The company that make this pill is mylan pharmceuticals ins. ## I am self-employed, husband neglected to pay our ins. on time twice so they cancelled us and would not re-instate. I am also currently going through a divorce and have to pay my dr. visits, as wells as all medications with cash. I have had 14 years of pain and fatigue from myofascial pain dysfunction along with fibromyalgia. Ironically, Actiq is the only medication that gives me complete quality of life, it's worth the money I have to spend on it, but if help is available through this site or if this site knows of any insurance places, that would be helpful. I took a hair follicle test for cps because my husband whose in jail tried to kill me and it came back positive for methamphetamine, cocaine, and ecstasy.
