My PM Dr is telling all patients he can no longer write Oxycodone beginning Jan 2017 because the DEA is controlling the supply and it will be virtually impossible to find. Does anyone know more about what is going on? I'm in Atlanta GA and I have had chronic pain since 2009 and have no idea what I will do. ## This is correct, the DEA is reducing the amount of almost all schedule 2 pain medications manufactured and available in the U.S. by 25% or more starting in 2017, this information was published in the Federal Register and a press release from the DEA itself. I have a 5 panel hair follicle drug test coming up. I have a script for Norcos so I'm ok on that but my question is that I took about 4 at the most of 5/325 mg oxycodone about 2 months ago . I took them over a 2 week span. I took them for a horrible infection in my tooth. I had the bottle but it is expired. Will the oxy show up in my hair test ? How long after taking. Zirtex D can I take a hydrocodone/acetaminophen 5-325 MG. I am in pain and my legs are cramping. Maybe from the Zyrtec D. ## The FDA does list that as being a possible side effect of this medication, along with thirst, dry mouth, dizziness, and sore throat. Taking them together may increase the severity of some side effects, such as dizziness, drowsiness, and dry mouth. Is there anything else I can help with? ## Yes you can but only of it perscribed to YOU. Take it only when needed. Make sure hoy follow the directions on the bottle.

I usually take norcos 7.5 & 10mg. I take 3-4 at a time so roughly about 40mg at a time...are these vicoprophen just like the norcos or different and how? ## Vicoprofen contains Hydrocodone and Ibuprofen (200mgs), rather than the Acetaminophen that Norco contains. The FDA warns that this medication carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth, and constipation. That is a lot of Acetaminophen to take, at once. You should not exceed 1,000mgs per dose, every 8 hours, or as warned by the NIH, you may experience liver damage, or failure. I suffer from chronic pain/neuropathy. I am medically disabled due to the neuropathy and chronic pain. Currently I am taking A total of 400 mg of Nucynta ER daily and a total of 200 mg of the center I are daily. Initially I was taking 200 mg ER in the morning 200 mg at night and 50 mg of IR in the morning and 50 at night. However, after several months, I found out that my pain was more controlled by taking 400 mg of your center in the morning and 100 mg of BIR in the morning also for total of 500 mg this work much better for me and my pain generally was controlled from 8 to 12 hours depending on activity and other issues The problem is that after about 6 PM every evening I am in severe pain again with no medications left . I took my 15mg am dose at 7:30am supposed to wait 12 hrs for 15mg pm dose not thinking I forgot I took am dose & took another 15mg at 11:30am 4 hours apart not the 12 hours What do I need to do? I had chest pain for hours only to hear hours later my chest cavity POP loudly like the metal cap popping off a glass bottle. How are you? It would be best to have this checked out by your doctor to see what happened, you might have developed costocondroitis, or you may have separation of the rib cage. The Lyrica may help, but it takes about 4 to 5 weeks to reach its full level of efficacy in your body. How many mcg of fentanyl n how often would equal to the 6 a day 8mg Dilaudid I'm taking. My tolerance is going up really fast. I've never seen the white ones before but I have seen the white r30s. Could anybody tell me if they have seen them before? ## No, there is no Roxicodone listed with this marking and being white, going by the NIH database. Were these provided by your pharmacy? Can you double check the imprint and post back? I can't get my apt till end of February and the Er won't give me another prescription. I took one Percocet 10-325 about two hours ago. I still feel some of the effects of it but surely it will be wearing off soon. How much longer until I can drink? For info sake, I drink shots. Will probably have 1/2-1 pint. Gin. I have been on hydrocodone 10mg since January 2016 due to chronic migraines and a pinched nerve in my neck. This last month the medicine has not worked at all. I have been being treated for chronic pain off and on for years. Recently i've been on the fentanyl 75 mcg every 3 days and the morphine 15 mg at 4 x daily.
