My drug screen showed positive for oxy/oxycodone, which I have ABSOLUTELY NOT taken because I'm in pain mngt and cannot get my meds taken away but I have been taking a few extra things to get rid of a sinus infection. The regular meds I take are: MS CONTIN Norco Baclofen Lyrica Vyvanse Trazodone Effexor ER The extras meds are: Benadryl Claritin Mucinex Cephalexin Flonase ...And anything I can get my hands on for sinus headaches, mainly those $.99 packs of off brand stuff at gas stations, which are miracle workers for those. For some reason oxy showed up and there's was only a slight trace of my morphine and I take it religiously. I am currently in a suboxone treatment program and just received copies of my urine drug screens from the last 3 years.. (It's a 12 panel screen) on some I tested positive for opiates (when I KNOW I didn't take any illicit drugs) and on some others, I tested positive for oxycodone AND opiates (when I know I took oxycodone or roxys).. What's the difference in opiates and oxycodone and why would I test positive for opiates when I haven't used any drugs? ## I have the same problem. Was taking BRAND percocet - the only true percocet (pinkish oblong pill that says "percocet") but it was horribly expensive: over $1,000 for 90 pills (one month). My insurance was paying at first but then when I switched insurers, no more, they only pay for generic. After that, I went thru the gamut of generics until now - it seems that Activis has taken over the supplies of percocet at every major pharmacy - Walgreens, Walmart, CVS, etc and that is ALL we can get. For me Activis is a nightmare. I suffer from post-laminectomy syndrome and Activis lasts barely an hour before I need another for break-thru pain. I had back surgery and was taking 15mg of Oxycodone and I took 8mg of suboxone for 3 days thinking I would be ok but my back is in so much pain. 1st off the pharmacy I have been using, I was just fine with the hydrocodone 7.5, UNTIL they changed manufacturer. To millenkfrodt (dout I spelled that exact, but you probably know what I mean. ? There are so many fake oxycondones out right now!!! I'm from Baltimore Maryland but am now residing in south Florida on the treasue coast. Baltimore has a lot of fake ones especially mbox 30s those are always a red flag to me anywhere. Dr wants to test levels of medication is system Tomarrow Jan29 th UA havnt had dilaudid in 4 days but still have 15ER MORPHINE he also did H the past 4 days what can he do ## Depending on the test different opiates show up as exactly what they are. No more are the days of positive or negative. I would try and wait at least 5 days depending on the amount of body fat and how well your liver works. Is a tec 30 stronger than a percocet 5? Is taking a tec 30 the same as taking a percocet 30? ## If I am not mistaken TEC 30 contains 30 mg of Codeine, whereas a Percocet 5 contains 5 mg of Oxycodone. As far as comparisons go I had a look at the Equianalgesic table and it's showing that Codeine is 1/10th the relative strength of Morphine, where as Oxycodone is 1.5 times stronger than Morphine. So to break that down ... 30 mg of Codeine ≅ 3 mg of Morphine ... 5 mg of Oxycodone ≅ 7.5 mg of Morphine. In other words, a Percocet 5 is over twice as strong as 30 mg of Codeine.

So I've been in the hospital for a while. I've used Dilaudid for roughly about 13 or 14 days through my pic line and IV . So they unsubscribed me to it but they say I can have Morphine. The Morphine isn't helping much and the pain was a 7-10 on a scale of pain and 10 being the worse. How long will it take till I can't take Morphine and it helps cause it really hasn't helped? I don't know what's wrong with me yet, but the pain does come back and fourth to a 5-7. ## What was the dosage of the Dilaudid and what is the dosage of the Morphine?
