IF the M is also in a box, then it is a generic for MS Contin, containing 60mgs of Morphine, a narcotic analgesic. Common side effects may include: nausea, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. If you have just been calling around, you are not likely going to get an honest answer. How many 15 mg of Morphine Sulfate equal 4 of the 10 mg Hydrocodone?? ## Morphine and Hydrocodone are generally considered equal in strength, when taken orally, so a 10mg Morphine tablet would be equal to 10mgs of Hydrocodone, this your 15mg Morphine is actually a stronger dose than what you were taking of the Hydrocodone. 3 of the Morphine 15mg tablets would be 45mgs and that would actually still be 5mgs stronger than the 40mgs in 4 of the Hydrocodone tablets. I recently was switched from 15mg IR to 7.5m gIR, I also take one 15mg CR every 12 hours. I neglegted to ask how much of a difference the 7. would be as opposed to the 15mg IR. I have fibromyalgia, costrocondritus, neck and back anomlies, fractured S1/T2 and the sacrum is cracked. The discs in between; one bulging, one flat and leaking into the siatic nerve. I also have panic disorder (take 5mg Diazepam 3x per bid). Robaxin, 150mg 4x daily, Zoloft 50mg per day. Ompemrazole/ranitidine 1, 2x per day. Has anybody tried Opana vs OC 80? Any feedback would be helpful. ## What dosage of the Opana? The Oxymorphone in it is actually twice as strong as the Oxycodone, so if you were taking 40mgs of it, then the equivalent dose of Oxycodone would be 80mgs. Both can be effective at controlling pain, it just requires a dosage adjustment. You should also know that there are no more Oxycontin OCs. Purdue has changed the formulation and they are now Oxycontin OP. Are there any questions or comments? I've been prescribed a large dose of OxyContin, 360 mgs. per day, + 180 mgs. of Roxycodone per day. Both have been upped over three years for several problems related to my bones, and now cancer. I get terrified that I'll lose them and if I do, will the Drs. replace them? If not, what would be prescribed to get me through the withdrawals? I have heard withdrawals are horrendous and can't imagine going through that on top of cancer and my other issues. I've asked and have been told to just NEVER lose or misplace them. The DEA? ## Hi allie, It seems like a lot of patients have been experiencing problems with the Norco made by Actavis (formerly known as Watson). Apparently from what I understand, after Watson was bought out, Actavis made some "unnecessary" changes within the inactive ingredients, causing them to not be nearly as effective as their yellow predecessor.
