I've been taking oxycodone 15mg green tabs for chronic pain management. My last prescription I dropped off at Walmart pharmacy. When I picked up my prescription the pills the pharmacist showed me looked very different from the green round pills I'm used too taking. Theses pills, made my Rhodes made me sick immediately. I suffered withdrawal like symptoms (headache, dry mouth, anxiety) and had little or no pain relief for two weeks. How long does Oxycodone take to get out of the system before I can safely drink (quite a bit of) alcohol? I'm an 84 year old white woman. Weigh 130lbs, am 5'2" tall and very ill. Haven't had a real drink in about 25 years. Used to drink a lot and miss it.

Never had a problem getting my monthly prescription for 20mg OxyContin filled at Walgreens. Just brought my prescription in to my regular Walgreens pharmacy and they told me they have not gotten shipment in weeks due to back log and change in supplier in the area. Aventura, Florida. I had been taking Lorcet 10/750 since '97. When the Norco came out, the doctor changed me to Percocet 10/325, but it really made me constipated, so I asked to be changed to Norco. It does not last long enough. I have severe migraines, RA, OA, Spinal Stenosis, Sciatica (both sides), herniated disc at L-7. The PA I see at my PPO, has told me Lorcet was discontinued totally, but now I find that Lorcet 10/325 is still available. I never had issues with the constipation while taking Lorcet, but do have it with the Norco. I am a caregiver to my 85 yr old Mom. I really would like to switch back to Lorcet. I need a clear answer of how long will it take for the Morphine Sulfate ER to get out of one's system before it's safe to drink alcohol? To be very clear, I know to never drink on the same day of taking opiates, especially ER (extended release) drugs. I'm taking morphine sulfate ER 15 mg twice a day. With these ER drugs, I understand that they're designed to remain in the body for long. When looking up the half life for morphine, it would only refer to the morphine itself without factoring the ER delivery system. So I cannot find reliable info for my question. I'm to have a prostate biopsy soon which I understand is rather painful and I'm wondering if two Percocet 7.5-325 prior to the procedure would help reduce the pain? I will also be given valium by the Dr. ## You shouldn't take anything, unless the doctor instructs you to do so. The FDA warns that Percocet carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth, and constipation. I've seen that the morphine pill is peach that has a 311 on one side and half moon on the other. My problem is that I have a off white pill with 311 and a half moon. It is a bit larger but with the exact writing on it. Is that also a morphine 60mg extended release med? Thankyou.

I've been taking 2-4 norco 5-325 almost daily for about 3 months. I have large cysts on my ovaries along with endometriosis and adanonmyosis. I'm in pain about 3 weeks out of the month. I'm having surgery on Thursday the 11th to remove the cysts and one ovary and burning the endometriosis tissue. I ran out of pills a few days ago and of course my doctor is on vacation and not responding. My friend has hydromorphone left over from a old surgery/ injury but what I've read says not to take it before surgery. I just came back from my pain doctor and he said my urine test today and last visit both tested positive for Morphine. And now he won't see me anymore. I have NEVER taken Morphine in my life so this is ridiculously unfair. All I take is what he prescribed me which is Lyrica and Percocet. I have read that Percocet can show up as Morphine but I've taken tons of urine test since starting the Percocet and none of them ever showed that. I have also read that poppy seeds can cause this result. I ate 2 BIG poppyseed bagels just last night, less than 12 hours before the drug test this which was this morning. Hi I have a 5 panel hair drug test coming up in a few weeks. I take 5 tens a day but I'm on prescribed one script of 15 5mg hydros to be taken 3 times a day. That script was from a month ago. Three years ago I got a script of 30 hydro 5 mg to be taken 3 times a day. I'm a temp employee and to go full time you have to take a hair test that the application states goes back 60-90 days. A couple guys at work that take hydros say no matter if you abuse as long as you have a script your ok. Others say its all about your levels. I have read various different precautions about using this drug intravenously. Some say that without using a micron filter you run the risk of losing your arm due to a microcrystalline cellulose compound found in the drug, I guess as a tamper prof method. That seems cruel knowing addicts will abuse anything if the possibility it will make them high. they also say this compound is not water soluble so does that mean once water is added that compound would not enter the needle and stay at the bottom?
