I share this experience in the hope of helping others who are suffering similar problems as a result of either Covid vaccines or the virus itself. Not long after my third Covid shot I started getting pins and needles in my fingers and hands. I blamed poor circulation at first but the problem quickly grew to severe pain in my hands and fingers, and trigger finger. The pain got so bad I consulted my GP who referred me to a specialist, who prescribed anti-inflammatory drugs. This then caused heart palpitations (I have a history of cardiac issues) so I stopped the medication immediately and survived on Panadol and, on bad days, Tramal 150. The problem got so bad that I couldn't open the screw top on a bottle of wine, and even the simple task of cleaning my teeth was painful. A second do...

Yellow round pill with 271 on one side and half moon on the other. Found this while cleaning out a house and wondering what it is? ## Extended release morphine sulfate 30mg. They must be new. I can't find them anywhere. I just had a second back surgery, and I'd swear that these don't work as well. I was looking to see if the pharmacy made a mistake, but that is what they gave me this time. ## I have a yellow pills that have 271 round and the other side had a moon on it please help me what is this ## Unfortunately I haven't been able to verify whether or not these actually contain morphine sulfate 30mg. However, I do recall that Actavis Pharmaceuticals is known for putting a half moon logo on their tablets. So the description sounds to me like something they may have manu...

I'm recovering from my third back surgery. I can take hydrocodone/acetaminophen 10-325 mg tab with no stomach problems. However, when I take hydrocodone/acetaminophen 7.5-325mg tab Mallinc generic, I have severe stomach pains. The pharmacist says there is no difference except the 10 vs the 7.5. It is NOT in my mind, it's in my stomach & it really hurts. Can you clear this up for me? I will be very grateful for your attention. Thank you. ## Who manufactures the 10/325 tablet that you've taken? There can be differences in the inactive ingredients from one manufacturer to another and that can cause problems for some people that are sensitive. So, say for example that the 10/325 was manufactured by Watson Pharmaceuticals, the inactive ingredients could be completely differen...

why is this drug no longer made? Only effective one for chronic migraines. Wise up drug companies this is a very effective Rx for migraine Ha's. Why should nurses suffer, doctors, too and millions of others. UNFAIR JUST SO THE FAT CAT DRUG CO'S CAN GET RICHER AND RICHER AND RICHER? ## Hello Susan, Reviewing the companies decision to discontinue this medication I found really no answer so likely it just wasn't generating enough money to be a viable option for them to continue manufacturing it. I was able to determine that the two pieces of this drug are still available through prescription, 50 mg of demerol and 20 mg of promethazine are the two ingredients in this medication and are both still available on the market. Taking these two together would be the equivalent of one m...

I have been taking Watson's m365 (10mg) for nearly a year. I've never had any adverse effects. Recently I switched pharmacies and they have ip110's instead. I'm now experiencing itching, headaches, bruising, more pain or less effectiveness and (as weird as this sounds) I pass out and sleep 3-4 hours after taking 2. THIS HAS NEVER HAPPENED BEFORE. What's the difference and how do I explain this to my pharmacy, so they understand the importance of ordering Watson? Thank you for your help with this. The pills look alike. Both are white and oblong. The only difference is the imprints listed above. ## The bruising is a concern and could signal a medical problem that requires treatment, as reported by the NIH. You need to see your doctor and have that checked out. Easy bru...

i need to know how ong fentanyl 100mcg/hr stay in your urine. how long can it be detected after taking your patch off? ## If you have a valid prescription, then it does not matter, you simply need to make them aware of it when you have the test. Fentanyl has a short half-life of only 7 hours, so it will be out of your system in approximately 48 hours. ## Been on 100 mcg patch for several yrs..no trouble except patch is only effective for 48 hrs, not 72. Have no side effects. Starting to notice I'm not getting as much relief. tried two patches and was fine and got needed relief. ## I have been chewing fentanyl patches for the past couple of weeks. after I chew this last patch how long will it take to leave my system? I have to pass pee test on january 20th. Will it show up then? ## P...

I live in RhodeIsland and was getting prescribed hydrocodone 10/325 100 every 20 days, my doctor cut me off. now i found another doctor and he`s prescribing me the same mg but 30 pills every 10 days and its not helping, I've tried talking to him and wants to put me on morphine or the patch i dont like them I feel like a zombie, and have 2 teenagers to take care of. does anyone know a doctor that would prescribe me the same medication and dose i was on. ## Hello, Mary! How are you? I'm sorry, but due to the new regulations that were put in place last year, there are limits on how much they can prescribe. The only exceptions are for patients with intractable pain due to a potentially fatal conditions, such as stage 4 cancer. Which patch did your doctor want you to try? There is mo...

I took Lyrica for about 6 weeks & noticed it caused incontinence or urine leakage. I stopped it & the sx subsided. I now restarted it as the pain was unbearable. It works wonders for the pain if you can endure the side effects. I am going to see if I can somehow control the urine leakage if it starts again. ## I am on 300mg of Lyrica, and just today I am having the same problem! Has the problem come back, and if so, have you found any solutions? ## i began lyrica and was able to sleep without nerve tingling waking me every 15 minutes forthe first time in 4 years. the problem is that the first night i also wet my bed and have done so several more times since taking it. when i dont take it the problem stops. any advice would be welcome. ## I took a lyrica last nite at work because...

I take a drug test for my pain doctor. I do NOT use any other meds other than what's subscribed by my pain Dr. The last test test showed up with neurontin in my urine. Please explain how that happened. Again I don't even take any over counter or anything not subscribed to me. ## How can neurotin show up in urine test since I haven't taken in 5 years. I take lyrica MS Cotin Soma Xanex and Clondine a chloestral med and infection for this cold or whatever it is. I am worried cos I will get dismissed andni haven't taken anything other then subscribed to me. Help!!! ## Nuerotin, gabapentin and lyrica ARE ALL THE exact same medication!!! The first 2 ARE the genetic for of lyrica ## This is an irresponsible incorrect answer. Look up " compare contrast neurontin lyrica" ...

I've been on 5, 30mg of Roxy's daily for about 4 to 5 years now, the problem, I am getting worried the time is going to come where I can't get them. I keep hearing stories about shortage and the price doubled, the last 2 months. These meds work for me and I am able to have a fairly normal life. I am not able to work any longer (Master Cosmetologist), which I hate, but after 2 failed back surgery's, I feel lucky, that I can at least enjoy my Grandchildren and my 3 Maltese Pups. Is there a medication out there that works like the Roxy's but a different med. I have tried morphine and MS Cotten and they didn't work on my pain like the Roxy's. I go back to my Doctor next week and would love to change meds. Any suggestions are for sure appreciated. ## I sure would ...

ATTENTION EVERYONE, PLEASE HELP ME. I desperately need anyone's help to find me a new liberal pain management doctor anywhere in Connecticut who will increase my current dose of oxycodone pain medication from 10mg four times a day which im currently prescribed to at least 30mg three times a day without giving me a hassle like I'm some type of drug addict which I'm honestly not even though my current doctor treats me like it even though in all honesty my pain level really is bad enough to require such a high dose. Anyone please give me any info. I need to contact another pain clinic doctor in Connecticut who will probably increase my oxycodone meds without giving me a hard time. ANY INFO WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED. Please respond as soon as possible. Thanks a lot. Peace eve...

Help me find out what it is. I know they are atleast 15 years old. ## I'm sorry, I've done some searching, but I can't find anything. Being that they are older, they wouldn't be included in our current databases, if they are something that was discontinued. Where were they found? ## It’s pure codeine. Very dangerous do not take it.

I've been treated for Chronic pain for 7 years or so with Norco 10/325. I've recently transferred to Houston from Western KY and am having a very difficult time finding a pharmacy that has this in Stock? 4th largest city and they do not have this widely used med? Does anyone know of a pharmacy that IS understanding and has this in Stock? I have a prescription but can't find anywhere to get it filled now. ## Helllo, DJ! I am very sorry about the issue you're having finding your medication. Unfortunately, this is something that occurs yearly, and I was just explaining it to someone else with the same problem. The DEA assigns manufacturing limits, each year, for all controlled substances. They did this to help gain better control of the supply of the medications that are mo...

I pulled a muscle in my lower back and am in a lot of pain but am unemployed at the moment and can't afford to see a doctor and fill a new prescription. I found an old bottle of Tramadol HCL 50 MG with an expiration date of 3/22/2007. It has been stored in a cool, dark, dry cabinet all of this time. Does Tramadol HCL become unsafe or lose its potency after its expiration date, especially this long after? ## Unsafe: No. Loss of potency: Yes (to a degree)! In the original factory sealed bottles that your pharmacy receives, most medications are touted to only be good for 3 years. Once those are opened and they are placed in a bottle that exposed them to heat and light, they're subject to degrade faster and will lose potency. On the contrary however, something to keep in mind is tha...

was getting a prescription for 30 days of 10 mg oxycodone but now only a 2 week supply at a time...why? what has caused my pain manangement doctor to only give me 15 day supply?I have always gotten a month supply until my pain doc rertired and was relaced.I just want to know what would cause a doctor to do this? ## Hello, Cindy! How are you? Unfortunately, the only one that can answer that for you, with any certainty, would be your doctor. The rest of can only guess, it might just be due to them trying to more closely monitor patients, as requested by the DEA last year, or there may be some other reason. According to the FDA, this is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipa...

Can I stop taking lyrica if I only had two capsules at 25mg strength each . I only had this one doze but I really don't want to use it for pain management any more Doing physio at the moment and that is helping me recover from lower back pain ## There shouldn't be a problem, if you've only taken a couple capsules, but it is always best to double check with your doctor. The FDA warns that Lyrica may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth, mood changes, and drowsiness. Ref: Lyrica Information Are you on any other medications?

Hi I have tried my normal pharmacy to fill my monthly script of Percocet 10-325 they said it's been on back order for three weeks I went to my dr today it was switched to 5-325 just to get it filled and I still had a issue what's going on why the shortage ## I am very sorry about the problem you're having finding your medication. Unfortunately, the DEA limits the amount of controlled substances that any given manufacturer can produce each year, and subsequently, how much each pharmacy can stock. They base the numbers on demand from the prior year, they did this to try to gain better control of the supply of medications that are commonly abused, or stolen and resold. I was prescribed oxycodone 5 milligrams every 2 hours for pain. How addictive is that? What do I need to expect when I stop it or should I back of off it slowly? I've only been taking it for 1 month. ## Ok for real, i wouldn't worry about it at all. If u are prescribed for an acute injury or pain take as directed. I am an addict because of pain management for a chronic condition. I would check your script directions though. Its usually 1-2 pills every 4-6 hours, not two. But your dose is very low and unlikely to cause u a problem. In comparison i was taking 60-90 milligrams every 4-6 hours. Its deadly amounts and a ten year tolerance. Keep talking to your doc about your concerns with taking the drug. When u stop telling your doctor the truth or stop asking him questions is the m...

can I safely take 50mg tramadol with 40mg oxycontin? ## There is no way anyone here would be able to provide a reasonable answer to that questions. You should consult with your doctor to see if it is OK because everyone is different. That said: so long as you stick to the prescribed dosage of each, you *should* be OK. Are there any other medications you are currently taking, including over the counter medications or herbal medicine? Also, alcohol should be avoided while taking those medications. ## Don't mix anything with Tramadol. Especially narcotics. Never !! I dont care what anyone says dont do it. There are certainly other drugs that can be taken with Tramadol but Narcotics like Oky as you mention. No way ! It's just not worth the risk. Pick one or the other but not both. #...

Need help! I been on six,6 Norco a day and he has brought it down to 2.5 a day. I have talked to my doctor about the amount of pills he makes out my prescription for. He won't increase the amount but he will give me something stronger but I don't like them. I want to stick with what works for me. Can you tell me of any doctor that will help me in Tulare, Visalia area? . ## Unfortunately, due to the risk of Acetaminophen overdose from taking too many Norco, you're really not going to find a doctor that is willing to prescribe that many. They have to be very cautious, because since it's available over the counter, many people don't realize that taking too much Acetaminophen can be very dangerous, or fatal. You can learn more Acetaminophen Overdose Information here. Wha...
