wt are the side effects if we take 6 combiflame at a time ## Combiflam contains Acetaminophen and Ibuprofen, so depending on the dosage, yes, taking that many at a time, especially if you add more throughout the day can be seriously harmful. It is very dangerous to exceed 4grams (4000mgs) of Acetaminophen in a day, so if your tablets contain 500mgs of Acetaminophen each, then you are already at 3grams (3000mgs) just taking 6 tablets, so if you add more then you are going over the maximum safe daily amount, Acetaminophen is very dangerous in large quantities, it can cause severe organ damage and death. ## i want to die. so please let me know hiw many combiflam can i take?? ## I took 5 combiflam tablets in one go..i am 14. round, white tablet FD on one side 552 on the other side. ## white round tablet, FD on one side, 552 on the other ## Did you ever find out what the pill is? I found the same one in my dog's medicine container! What is it? ## It's EtoGesic, an NSAID painkiller for dogs over 11 lbs ## Etogesic contains the active ingredient Etodolac, which is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory that is used to treat pain, fever, and swelling. The FDA lists the typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, stomach irritation, and increased risk of bleeding. Is there anything I can help with?

I recently had surgery on my throat and am experiencing extreme pain. I was prescribed Oxycodone 5mg, and told to take half a pill every four hours. However they only gave me enough for 5 days and I don't see this being enough for my recovery. Also, the Oxycodone alone doesn't really entirely do the job. Can I take non prescription acetaminophen along with my Oxycodone? I only have 500 mg tablets, so if I can what should the dosage be along with 1/2 a tablet of the 5mg Oxycodone?? ## Yes, if your doctor approves, you can take Acetaminophen with it, it does augment the action of opiates for some people. The FDA limits the amount per dose in prescription medications to no more than 325mgs. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side...

Can oxycodone and tylenol be compounded together in a liquid form? ## Hi Deb, From what I understand, both medications in and of themselves (Oxycodone and Acetaminophen) are available as liquid/oral solutions. So it's very likely that you could get a compounding pharmacy to combine the two for you once you present them with a valid prescription from your doctor, for authorization. I would just recommend consulting with a compounding pharmacist in your area first to see what it'll end up costing you and if there are any other pertinent details that you need to know about up front. Hope this helps! ## I take oxycodone and then OTC liquid or children's tylenol, and it seems to work fine. If your pharmacy says they can't do it for you, you could ask your dr if this could wor...

What are the dangers of taking 325mg aspirin with benazepril hcl 40 mg together? ## Does the 325 asprin cause hypertension pill benzapril not work? ## They can be taken together, if your doctor approves, and while it doesn't cause the Benazapril to stop working, yes Aspirin can elevate your blood pressure as a side effect, according to FDA reports. You may also experience other side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, increased risk of bleeding, and stomach irritation. Is there anything else I can help with?

I was trying to get Tylenol out of my bag but I accidentally grabbed the Coversyl and took it. Then I realized I got the wrong packet. I took the 1st dose at 6:30 am today and the 2nd dose at 8:10. Please help. I am traveling at 11:30. Will it affect me? ## How are you doing, Nor? Did you experience any adverse effects? In most cases, accidentally taking a double dose doesn't cause any severe issues with this class of medications, but you may experience more nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, and lower blood pressure than usual, according to NIH reports. However, traveling could cause an issue, if you are flying, since it can elevate blood pressure, since they pressurize the cabins.

I suffer from fibromyalgia and rheumatoid arthritis and I need a family dr in Indianapolis (I live on the west side but I will travel to a different side of town) to prescribe my norco 7.5 and high dose neurotin ## I live in the Indpls area. I am in desperate need of a new doctor. My doctor stopped all my meds after 5 years and the office got a new office manager and she thought it was not good for me or my doc therapeutically to prescribe my meds any longer, so I was discharged cold turkey. I have since had seizures and terrible withdraw symptoms. I had to go to emergency room and got very little help so if anyone could find a place in you're heart to lead me in the direction of a really good doctor it would be greatly appreciated. I have a grievance filed upon my behalf by my insu...

Live in Hamilton NJ need dr. to prescribe meds for nerve damage in lower back. I have ins coverage thru work so no clinics please. Don't want drawn out process just want meds to continue standing 7 hours a day.... ## I'm sorry you're suffering and I hope you find help soon. However, as to not wanting to go to a clinic, you really aren't going to have much choice on that. Under the new laws that went into effect at the beginning of the year, changes are being implemented that will no longer allow general practice doctors to prescribe pain medications for long-term use. They will only be allowed to prescribe them for a short period of time, such as when someone has just had surgery or been in an accident, except for in cases of certain rare exceptions. Additionally, you ma...

Does this affect your breathing and what is the 5 mixture? ## Hello, K! How are you? This is 5mgs of Oxycodone coupled with 325mgs of Acetaminophen. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. And yes, it may affect your breathing, because it can cause depression of the CNS. Thus, it might be contraindicated with some medical conditions, some other medications and could be dangerous if you are not tolerant to it. Are there any other questions or concerns? ## I am looking for the non-medicinal ingredients in apo-02324628 (oxycodone/apap 5-325). I have my usual script for 180 dilaudid pills. My insurance will only pay for 150. Usually they run it for 180 and i have to pay for 30 pills out of pocket. This time they said they could not do it I had to pay 300 for the full 180 pills and they would not bill insurance for the 150 at all. How were they able to do it before but not this month. ## It may depend on your insurance, or the pharmacy policies. Which pharmacy do you usually use? Which insurance company do you have? It is really hard to say, without knowing this additional information. The FDA warns that this medication carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as dizziness, drowsiness, constipation, and dry mouth. You may need to ask your doctor to write 2 different prescriptions, one for what y...

My pills are round, white, with 223 on one side and a line on the other. Does this contain aspirin? Can I take it with an Excedrin? Is the oxycodone immediate release? ## This tablet is manufactured by Sun Pharmaceuticals and they list it as containing 5mgs of Oxycodone in a regular release formulation. The FDA warns that this medication carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth, and constipation. No, it does not contain Aspirin. As to the Excedrin, which formulation do you usually take? I'm sorry, but I need more information to check those details for you. Thanks! ## Why does my 5mg oxycodone pill say 223 on one side? Who is the manufacturer of this pill? And does it have acetaminophen in it? Also, is it timed...

What flu medication can I get that has no acetaminophen? I can not take it. I am sick and need some medication to take so I can work. ## Why can't you take Acetaminophen? As to the Flu, are you sure that is what you are suffering from? Are you on any other medications? Do you have any diagnosed medical conditions? I'm sorry, but more information is needed in order to provide an accurate answer to your question. According to NIH reports, many people who think they have the flu may not actually have it, they could be suffering from some other condition. What symptoms are you experiencing?

I have RSD in both legs due to several back surgeries. I was diagnosed in 1993 and have lived in pain for many years. My question is, I was doing pretty good with hydrocodone, Tylenol (7.5/3.25) ev 4 hrs. Even missing a dose every now and then, my RSD was mostly under control. I was changed to pill form (10/3.25) ev 6 hrs and ever since then (3 days ago), I have been in severe pain, in my legs and now under my feet. What made the difference? My pharmacist will not get the liquid form for me due to the cost to them. I may have to go out of town to get it. We live in a small town. ## Your pain might be do to the change in dosage timing, since you went from 4 hours to 6 hours, but it is hard to say. I had ankle surgery yesterday and they put 2 plates and 10 screws in my ankle. I was prescribed Tylenol 3s and ibuprofen 800mg when I went to the urgent care the day before surgery and was prescribed Valium 5mg and Hydrocodone/Acetaminophen 10-325 after surgery. Would it be safe for me to take a Valium 5mg and Tylenol 3 together for the pain to hold me over until it’s time for me to take my Norco again in 3 hours? Please advise. Thank you. ## You should not combine the Tylenol 3 and Norco, since they both contain opiate narcotics, as well as Tylenol/Acetaminophen. You should really stick with one, or the other. The FDA warns that these medications carry the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, constipation, and dry mouth. Why...

I take Co-codamol for arthritis 30/500 and Gabapentin 300mg. Is it safe to also take a low dose of Tramadol as well? I also have gout. Are there any contraindications? ## The Co Codamol contains Codeine with Acetaminophen, so no it shouldn't be taken with the Tramadol, since it and the Codeine are both opiates. The FDA warns that these medications carry the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, constipation, and dry mouth. Have they all been prescribed for you?

I took 250 to 300 mg of lyrica daily for fibromyalgia, for 9 years. I have stopped due to medicare supplement insurance doesn't cover it. My Dr. weaned me off over the summer. Now I may not pursue other meds to replace it. It's been 6 weeks since my last dose. I can't eat. Nothing tastes good most days. I had welts during withdrawal, which my hands constantly went to from anxiety. So I'm still healing from those. Many other withdrawals as well. My question is, how long will the lyrica stay with me? When can I really judge that it's the real me, not the withdrawing me or the damaged from years of lyrica me? So glad I'm off it now. ## How are you doing, now? Has there been any change? Are you on any other medications? It is odd for the effects of it to still linger...

Can you cut 7.5 mg hydrocodone in half? They are a round pill with 7161, no score mark, but they are too strong for me and make me sick to my stomach. ## 7161 doesn't show as being an imprint for Hydrocodone combination medication. Are their any other numbers on it? Also Hydrocodone doesn't come in a round tablet. ## Hello, Lynni! How are you? Is it a round, white tablet with the numbers 5161 on it? Can you please double check and post back? If so, it is manufactured by Teva Pharmaceuticals and they list it as containing 7.5mgs of Hydrocodone and 200mgs of Ibuprofen. The FDA classifies this medication as being a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. ## My apol...

I have two v4812 pills, they look like they are legit but one is light blue and the other is Obviously darker... Should I be concerned about quality at all? Were they just made by two different manufacturers? Or are they using different types of dyes now, can anyone shed some light on this... ## If you had both pills filled at a licensed pharmacy then I don't think you should have anything to worry about... But if not, then I would certainly be questioning where you got them from. No two manufacturers share the same pill imprint for the same drug... so that theory is out the window in my opinion. If they are real, then perhaps it's feasible to assume that two different dyes were used in two different batches that got mixed together and put into the same prescription bottles. If ...

I am taking 15mg MS Contin 4 times a day and I still have several periods of severe pain that come out of nowhere. They usually last anywhere from 20 minutes to an hour and can be so severe that they bring me to my knees. Could this be breakthrough pain? I have an appointment with my pain doctor in the morning, but I want to see what others think so I can try to be prepared when I talk to him. I want to ask for something for these periods of severe pain. What works best with MS Contin? Thanks for your help! ## Yes, breakthrough pain is quite normal for someone to experience, when they suffer from something that causes severe and/or chronic pain.
