I said I wanted it retested & it came back saying it was positive for opiates, morphine hydromorphone. I absolutely DID NOT take any of them. I can’t understand why/how this could have happened. I’m very concerned. I did have Poppyseed salad dressing the night before. I had no idea that it could make a false positive screen. However the confirmation test says I took actual drugs. How could this be possible if I didn’t. If you could help me I would be forever grateful. Idk what other information you might need. Please let me know. Ty
Updated in MorphineThe pill is white round imprinted with RP and 7.5 325. Manufactured by rhodes pharmaceuticals. It is oxycodone/acetaminophen. Have there been any reviews good or bad on this pill or compared to other manufacturers? ## Hello, Robert! How are you? I've not read a lot of complaints about it, so far, but that could change at any time. It seems that this tablet is just not becoming more common, so more people are receiving it from their pharmacies. Have you tried them? How do they work for you? The FDA classifies this medication as being a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. ## I just received a script and they was from Rhodes Pharmaceuticals they was the 5/325 oxyco...
Can anybody give me some advice or their own experiences with pain management doctors in Charlotte North Carolina? I suffer from chronic pain in my neck, lower back, and primarily in my left leg from a severe knee injury in '09. I broke my Tibia, Fibula, tore my acl, pcl, and the perineal nerve. My ortho surgeon said I had a 50/50 chance of having dropfoot due to the severity of nerve damage even if the reconstructive surgery went well. Luckily that did not happen, but I did have to have a 2nd surgery about 7 months later due to unexplained pain where my pcl is located and limited movement and strength gaining. The surgery was arthoscopic and although he said he removed more scar tissue than he had ever seen(what he assumed was causing my limited motion too), he said it looked like ...
Anyone taking Sun brand hydrocodone 10/325? How does it compare to the other generics available? ## I used to take sun pharma generic suboxone and it’s trash. I’ve tried ever generic and this is the worst. It’s the reason I pay 75 more bucks to do the films. I refuse ANY medication from sun pharma. It’s from India and has been shut down for mold, rats very unsanitary. I will be so glad when all our meds are made in America. All this info is online easy to find. I’m sure the hydrocodone is awful ## The best Quist 3601 ,the best, government shut them down.
Anyone think this is just as effective as Vicodin and Watson etc? Thanks :) ## Not even close. My pain seems the same. I've taken two at a time and it's had no effect at all. ## Yes, I have really suffered in pain this month on tris pharma and will never try them again. My chiropractor is making a lot of money this month LOL more than his usual amount. I told my pharmacist and he said he will not order them next month. I actually have a science degree, and I looked up the background of Watson which is now owned by Teva pharmaceuticals (originally out of Israel) they seem top-notch! And they produce Watson. Thank you for your reply :-) ## Please correct me if I'm wrong Kitty, but didn't Watson acquire Actavis and change their name to 'Actavis'? (Re: actavis.co.id/...
round white ## What is the drug Barr 198 used for. It's a large round white pill with a #3 on one side and Barr 198 on the other side. ## This tablet contains 300mgs of Acetaminophen and 30mgs of Codeine, a generic for Tylenol with Codeine. This is a narcotic pain reliever. Some of the most common side effects include: nausea, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. ## Is there any significant difference between Codeine/Aceta. 30mg Barr 198 w/a 3 on the back tablets, and the tablet with a 100 and that funny looking R w/a tail just below the 100 and a 3 on the back? Or is one just a generic? Thank you. Sherlock ## I found some Barr 198/#3 pills in my backpack first aid kit. The pills have been in there for a number of years. Are these pills still ok to take? I understand that the pot...
How long does it take for a percocet to get in your system and show up in a urine test? ## How long after taking oxycodone, will it take to show up in your urine ? ## i get drug tested twice a month how often should i take a perk 10 for it to show up in a urine test ## I was on them for years. To make sure they show up in ur UA take one about 24 hours before ur test. ## I've been on percocet for some time 5 milligrams 5 times a day. I fell off a ladder last week about 15 feet and I had taken more than I should have obviously and now I am going to be a couple of days short. I still have enough for two days. When should I take them and how long before should I take them before my urine test? ## My daughter stole my percocet but I had half of one(10/325)in my purse. I have a pee test at...
I have been on Lyrica for about 8 months now and I am having fantastic results. My dr is trying to increase my dosage and I have been doing it in 50 mg increments. I am up 100 more now in a month, for a total dosage of 400mg. I find that I have very bad recall and loss of my vocabulary during conversation. It eventually goes away, but I was wondering if anyone else has this? If it keeps up, I just may have to drop back down 50mg until I get used to it? That seemed to work that last time I had to raise it.BTW, I have nerve pain in my ribcage. (not caused by shingles) ## It is a possible reaction to this med, it is listed as a side effect that you should see your doctor about if you experience it. You can see it in the monograph listing here: Pregabalin Details Have you consulted your doc...
My husband has a bad back (bull stepped on him in high school) he's 37 now, and needs surgery. We cannot do that right now, so he's been on oxycodone 30mg, but we've moved 16 hours away from old dr. Need new dr in Ohio preferably near Canton, but at least somewhere near. Can anyone please help us find a Dr. who prescribes that. We've been looking, & not having any luck. Any advise would be great!! ## The best piece of advice I can give you is to get him an appointment to see a new doctor, but don't ask ahead of time if they will prescribe any particular medication. When you do that, doctors view it as being drug seeking behavior and will usually just say that they don't prescribe, don't treat such things or whatever excuse they can come up with to not tak...
This medication is weak compared Actavis oxycodone ## Hi Jay, How would you rank the mallinckrodt vs actavis on a scale on 1-10? I know a lot of patients who've been used to taking certain brands have also complained about actavis as well, but in my experience I'm finding the that primary differences people have are based on a variety of individual factors; such as tolerance, age, weight, metabolism, etc. Not only that but because both manufacturers use a different set of "inactive" ingredients (binders/fillers), this could also influence how much of the oxycodone is actually being metabolized and used by your body at any given time. These are the fillers used in mallinckrodt's (M 30) oxycodone 30mg tablet: microcrystalline cellulose + lactose monohydrate + stearic a...
So confused.. There are some of these that are really crumbly and look a lot darker than the ones I originally saw. They taste a lot grosser and are unpleasant.. They also melt in your hand and I didn't recall them doing that before.. ## @Natalie, First things first, depending on whether or not you're getting these filled at a real licensed pharmacy (which you didn't mention), there's really no way to know if what you're getting is real outside of having each tablet analyzed by a lab for verification. This is because counterfeits are becoming increasingly similar to legitimate versions of the same drug, often possessing the same imprint, color, and shape. So in my opinion, the most important thing you can do in such situations is to just be upfront and honest with yo...
I have some A 51 30 mg oxycodones and noticed that they turn a yellow/green when damp. I know one of the inactive ingredients is D&C yellow #10 so that may be the cause, but I wanted to check to see if anyone else has noticed the same thing and make sure that it is normal. Thanks for any help in advance. ## I spilled a little water on 1 of my A 51's and it changed color too. Is there a reason this happens? ## Hello, Mike and Jen! How are you both? Moisture can affect the shade, color and tone of virtually anything, including pills. Depending on the specific type of water, you may see different colors at different times, due to small chemical reactions. For instance, you may see a different color from tap water, than from purified water, since there are chemicals in the tap water...
When I was going crazy with pain and looking for relief ,the patch was a Godsend.I started the patch at 25mcg about 7 years ago, I am now on .75mcg.,and using percocet for breakthrough.I have stopped the Percocet because of the similar affects on the stomach I have become plagued with bowel obstructions and Opiod induced constipation ,have resorted to double dose laxtives and Citro-mag every other day in order to go to the bathroom. On a soft diet for last 4 months and losing weight,Ensure and Gravol have become my new best friend.I would kill for some KFC.Problem is I am going for nerve blocks in a couple of weeks, hoping to reduce the strength of the patch needed, hoping that will help with the bathroom problems. I am terrified about going through withdrawal.Going from 75mcg to 50 mcg se...
I have a T 194 yellow pill that says it's a percocet 10mg, but when taking it, it made me feel super weird and my chest hurt. Is this a possible side effect? ## An oblong yellow pill marked with T 194 on one side and blank on the other is identified as a 10/325mg generic Percocet. For verification, the manufacturer is listed as Camber Pharmaceuticals and the pill itself carries a National Drug Code of 31722-0194. Concerning the possible side effects of Oxycodone, medline plus does list "chest pain" as a potentially serious side effect that you should inform your doctor about immediately. I hope you feel better soon! ## Hi, have you taken Percocet regularly prior to this? I was just prescribed this brand, I had a different one before ## Where did you receive the T194 yellow ...
I've been prescribed an extended-release version of morphine sulfate and I've released I'm not sure how the extended release works. I take one 15 mg pill per day. I guess I thought the extended release meant that I would be getting the benefit of 15 mg of pain relief all day long, at an given moment. But does the ER version simply take that 15 mg and divide it up over the space of 24 hours? 15 divided by 24...that would mean at any given hour, I'd only have 0.62 (less than a milligram) in my system, which is substantially less than 15 mg of relief in any given hour. Can anyone clarify this for me? ## Hello, Groa! How are you? Yes, the tablet contains 15mgs total of Morphine that is slowly released over time. However, generally, the constant release of even small amounts ...
I ran out of Percocet 8 days early. I know people make excuses as to why this happens, but I went to jiffy lube and forgot that my coin purse was on the seat. It had 15 pills in it! I put them in that coin purse, in case of an emergency. Luckily, I still have a few more. My dr. prescribed morphine sulfate 15 mg twice a day. I have not taken it yet. I have been on the Percocet for 3 weeks. Terrified of going through withdrawal. Do you think the Morphine will help eliminate withdrawal? I am also on Gabapentin. Please any response is appreciated. ## Please help.Very anxious and afraid of withdrawals ## Hello, Gabrielle! How are you? Since the maximum dose available of Oxycodone in Percocet is 10mgs and that is equivalent to 15mgs of Morphine, you should actually be fine. The FDA classifies...
What is the difference? ## tramacet relieves the pain percocet relieves the pain AND makes you high (stay away if you can, highly addictive) ## The Tramacet combines the Tramadol with Acetaminophen, which can potentiate the action of some other drugs. Learn more Tramacet details here. Tramadol has shown the potential to be habit forming and it may cause side effects such as nausea, dizziness, constipation and headache. Are there any other questions or comments? Is there anything else I can help with? ## If I am intolerant of Tramacet, am I likely to be intolerant of Tramadol too? I have constant severe nerve pain in my neck from old whiplash injuries. I'm told Lyrica is good but costs a bomb. Tramadol helped my mom with a similar problem. But Tramacet makes me totally nauseous. ## Y...
Found a pill with an imprint of Gg 296 and am not sure of what it is. I was told it is some kind of Oxycodone or Percocet and I just wasn't sure what it was? It is round and white. ## This tablet is manufactured by Sandoz Pharmaceuticals and they list it as containing 10mgs of Loratadine, which is an antihistamine that's used to treat allergies. The FDA lists the typical side effects as possibly including dizziness, headache, and dry mouth. It is available over the counter and by prescription. Is there anything else I can help with? ## What is the shelf life of gg/296?
My pharmacy just switched to the Avkare brand of Norco 7.5. The imprint on it is IP 115. I feel like these do not work at all for me. I would like to know if anyone else that are on these or ever have been on them can let me know how it works/worked for them. ## Hello, Maria! How are you? Has there been any change? As permitted by the Hatch-Waxman Act of 1984, there can be fluctuations in generic medications. They are allowed to differ in the amount of the active ingredients by as much as plus or minus 20% of what's in the name brand, additionally, they do not have to measure against each other, only against the name brand. Thus it is possible that this one is a little lower than the prior one you were taking. However, since the differences are slight, most people adjust within a we...
It seems America has embraced change and now would be the time to bring up the injustices forced upon vulnerable sections of society, cancer ridden, disabled, congenital pain issues and every other legitimate American requiring temp or long term assistance to maintain a basic quality of life. The heart of this is not allowing manufactures to defraud the public by repealing this law and putting stringent quality control on narcotic manufactures. They should clearly state what specific amount of ingredients are broken down by milligrams, not percentages. As for appropriate so-called therapeutic window argument justifications, that should be determined by the patient and doctor. However, this is impossible to find as manufacturers mislead consumers by saying it's 10mg oxycodone when in...
