I'm 26. I was on Lyrica for 3-4 months for neuropathic pain after having a fall and developing complex regional pain syndrome just after my wedding. I was on 75mg/day and since I'm "chemically sensitive" this dose was quite strong for me. It made me drowsy to the point of sleep, irritable, poor memory, depressed, chest pain, I felt "dumb" like I couldn't spit out my thoughts clearly, I had headaches, dizziness and gained weight... etc. My GP recommended nothing. I was only on it for 3-4 months, stopping because my husband observed I was always grumpy before it and after the medication wore out. I have been off it for around 3-4 months. I still feel fatigued (though not nearly as bad), emotional at times, and most frustrating is that I feel "foggy" - s...

I know someone who takes 15 tablets of Cortal (500mg). What would happen to her in the event of an overdose? I'm getting nervous. ## Cortal is listed as containing Aspirin, which is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory, that also caused blood thinning. Taking that many could cause her blood to be thin, so a cut or scrape could cause dangerous bleeding. She could also end up with a bleeding ulcer, due to the way it can irritate the stomach, as reported by the FDA. There is also a risk of liver damage, along with elevated heart rate and blood pressure. Any of these could possibly result in a fatal overdose. Why does she take so many? ## Ma wawala ang side effects ng gamot n cortal kse po gumamit yng pinasan ko po tas after nya mg karoon na ramdaman na niya yng mga side effects masusulusyo...

My husband was on morphine 30 mg and the doctor put him on Norco 10/325. Which is the strongest pill for pain? ## Someone please correct me if I'm interpreting this wrong, but according to the following opioid dosing equivalency chart by umich.edu, two 10mg Norco (Hydrocodone) tablets are reportedly equal one 30mg Morphine tablet. Here's the link for reference: med.umich.edu/1info/FHP/practiceguides/pain/dosing.pdf However, due to possible side effects, individual tolerance, body chemistry, and other personal factors, my understanding is that not all opiates provide the same type of effects or relief even at what would be considered an equivalent dose. Hope this helps! ## I've been looking everywhere for accurate information in regards to converting 30mg of morphine into the...

The fact that you guys are even thinking about mixing alcohol with antidepressants tells me you are not serious about controlling your depression. Alcohol is a depressant! Taking anti depressants and drinking is like giving a hemophiliac an aspirin to thin their blood. Makes no sense at all. If you guys really want to get better then get serious and pay attention to the warnings on your prescription bottles and pharmaceutical instruction sheets. How do you expect any drug to work for you if you don't take it as prescribed? Continuous mixing of alcohol and antidepressants has one result...death. Take responsibility for your health. Do what the doctor says and if the drug still doesn't work out for you let the doctor know so he can make an informed decision about your care. Look a...

Lately, I have been experiencing pain every time I am on my period and I have taken several drugs like felvin, valgin & painkillers, but it won't stop. I even experience vomiting and frequent bowel movements. I was told to take metronidazole, will it stop if I use it?

I took a total of 2 tablets of Norco 10/325 about a week ago. I had a urine drug screen today. Will I fail the urine drug screen? I have been drinking lots of water and drinking cranberry juice since. Please help with any info. ## If you were prescribed this medication, then you have nothing to worry about. However if it was someone else's prescription it should still be out of your system for a UA within that time period. The half-life of hydrocodone is approximately 3.8 hours. So after roughly 4 hrs, 1/2 of the dose still remains in your system. How long does it stay in your system?… essentially indefinitely if it is a hair test (unspecified period of time) according to many sources; but detectable amounts after 16 hours would be 1/16th of the dose. Chronic use c...

What is the duration of time one should wait between one dose to another dose for treating a high fever like 102 and 103? ## I'm sorry, is Dolo an abbreviation for something? What country is it from? I am not familiar with anything under this name, does anyone know what this is? ## DOLO-650 is reported to contain Paracetamol 650 mg (also known as Acetaminophen). This is a widely used over-the-counter analgesic (pain reliever) and antipyretic (fever reducer). For adults, the typical maximum dosage of this medication is 4,000 mg per day - however, it is always important to follow instructions on the packaging and from your doctor! In short, you should be able to take this medication safely every 4 to 6 hours. You can read more about this medication at: Do you have any other questions ...

Name of capsule: DiCod301 Contains: 15 mg hydrocodone bitartrate, Cyclizine HCl 25 mg., Benzyl benzoate 0.01% ## What exactly is this? Is this compounded hydrocodone? I'm not sure what DiCod301 and who manufactures it. Any info would be appreciated. ## These green and yellow capsules came from a company in South Afiica loose in a small heat sealed plastic bag. A printout was included saying DiCod301 including ingredience as stated and its uses A white and light brown powder was in the capsule. ## It is very hard to say with any certainty, since foreign medications are not regulated like those approved for use and sale in the US. I would assume they mean Dihydrocodeine, but wouldn't place any bets on it. ## Verwon, these are definitely hydrocodone bitartrate and not dihydrocodein...

prescribed for headaches and tooth pain, works well but what's in it? ## I was wondering if you can tell me if supradol is a strrong narcotic? My fiance went to get dentures in Mexico and they prescribed him this medication. Thank you ## No, this is not a narcotic at all. The American equivelent to Supradol would be Toradol, which is just a strong anti-inflammatory. ## just today i had dental work done in mexico: an extraction and an implant and was prescribed supradol and clendix. I took one pill of each as prescribed and now have a lump on my left (same side as the dental work) quadracept which feels and looks like a muscle spasm. any comments? ## I had a tooth pulled and an implant placed. Can anyone tell me what the IC stands for? I am used to seeing ER for extended release but I have never seen the IC before and can't seem to find any info on the net telling me what it means. Any help? ## Ic means ingredient comparable. It means you are getting a generic that is comparable to a name brand! Hope this helps .I have medication that had the same thing on it. ## What are the markings on it? That would enable someone to double check for you, to be sure. The FDA warns that Roxicodone contains the opiate Oxycodone, which carries the risk of being habit forming, and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth, and constipation. Hi, I've never looked for help on the internet regarding my medication, but I'm at a loss. I'm a 46-year-old, healthy, strong and fit female. Three years ago I was pushed from the top of a 4-story building, falling 80 feet. Subsequently, I still suffer from severe, chronic back pain. I take Oxycodone 10/325 every 4 to 6 hours to help manage my pain. When I last filled my prescription, 3 days ago, I noted that I am getting zero relief. I never take more than one pill in a four hour period. But that first day I took 4 pills within 6 hours and still didn't have relief. I called the pharmacy to see if the manufacturer had changed and she informed me that it had not. In fact I looked at the pills and they looked identical to the pills I got the month before. I don't think...

When I filled my RX at the first of Jan, the pharmacist warned me it was a different manufacturer so it would look different. I immediately saw a difference. It was not combating my pain, and I was having severe headaches. I was suspicious of the pharmacist, at first, because this medication has been in short supply (at least in this area), and was forced to go to a Walgreens across town, where I was treated like a criminal, despite the fact my regular Walgreens had called. I looked it up in my pill book, however, and was comforted to discover it was the correct pill. All month I have been suffering with the pain, headaches, and nerve pain, as well as nausea, gastrointestinal issues, and a feeling of restlessness. It is time for a new monthly supply, so I called CVS Pharmacy and they do...

What is a round white pill with RP on one side and 7.5, 325 on the other side? ## Rhodes Pharmaceuticals lists this tablet as containing 7.5mgs of Oxycodone, and 325mgs of Acetaminophen, it is a generic for Percocet. The FDA warns that this medication carries the risk of being habit forming, and may cause effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, constipation, and dry mouth. Is there anything else I can help with?

I've been getting this for years at Walgreens in Tavares FL and they always have it for me when the day comes for the next Rx but this month they said they cannot order it. They said it's not available from their distributor. Suggested I go to a private pharmacy instead of chain. I called the and they said they would order it and I could pick it up the next day but they didn't get it. Said they can't get it from distributor and substituted a patch made by Apotex. Today I am in withdrawl! Bad. I know that I can't switch generics - they are all slightly different and I am afraid of overdosing from one that is too strong but also hate being underdosed and having withdrawal. The drug stores say I can only have one Rx a month so I am stuck with what I have until next mont...

I have been taking hydrocodone/ Acetaminophen 5-325 TB FOR YEARS FOR CHRONIC PAIN. When I just picked up my most recent prescription the pharmacy substituted Hydrocodone/ Acetaminophen 5-300 TB. WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE IN THE TWO MEDICATIONS? Are there different side effects, and how might they manage my pain differently? ## From what you've listed, the only difference is the dosage of Acetaminophen that each contains, one contains 325mgs and the the other contains 300mgs of it. How is it working for you? What are the markings on the tablets? The FDA warns the Hydrocodone carries the risk of being habit forming, and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, constipation, and dry mouth.

I just moved to Beaumont TX. Looking for a cash doctor for percocet / norco. I'm in real bad shape and don't know anyone to refer me to a cool doctor. ## I live in East Tx. and i just need to find a doctor with in a 100 or 150 miles of where i live if any one can help me? Thank you very much? ## I'm in East Texas as well. I had saw a pain management Dr in Tyler for awhile. I was ok, however insurance changed so I transferred care to a Dr in Dallas. I've actually saw 2 & am now going to the 2nd as he listens better, is thorough & very innovative. I saw Dr Z at Texas Pain Physicians... He has a somewhat dull personality, doesn't communicate well but does FANTASTIC inj's... He kept me on the same meds as my last dr (fentanyl patch & percocets, zanaflex)....
