Does anyone know of a good generic brand of norco 7.5/325? I have tried Qualitest an it doesn't work very well. My DR. approved brand name but the cost was $191.00 up front before they would even order it ... I realize there is a drug problem, but what are old people with serious back problems suppose to do? ## Hello, Nicki! How are you? That's unusual, most pharmacies keep a small supply of the name brand on hand for when someone comes in with such a prescription. What did the pharmacist say, or did you try calling any other local pharmacies? The FDA warns that this medication carries a risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth, and constipation. Qualitest always worked well for me, but everyone is different. Can anyo...

I can't seem to find a straight answer. I'm stopping the 12 mcg fentanyl patch (with Drs instructions). I have 7.5mg Percocet for withdrawal for a few days but everyone is leaving me believe my withdrawal won't be too bad. I called the pharmacist. She said withdrawal will last 48 hours. That seems too good to be true. So, anyone know?! ## It really depends on the person and how long they've been on it, so you may not experience any withdrawal symptoms, or you may experience them for a few weeks, there's no way to be certain. I believe the pharmacist may have been referring to how long it takes to exit your body, which is approximately 48 hours after last use. The FDA warns that possible withdrawal effects could include nausea, vomiting, chills, rebound pain and diarr...

I am uninsured and have a referral to a pain management clinic, but cannot afford the clinic. I would like to know of any cheap doctors who would prescribe the narcotic pain medication I need to be on in the Kansas City MO area. ## Hi, Kat! How are you? I'm sorry, but under the new regulations that were put in place this year, if you require narcotic pain medications on a long-term basis to treat chronic pain, you're going to have to see a pain management specialist. PCPs are no severely restricted in what they can prescribe, how long they can prescribe it and why they can prescribe it. I am prescribed Norco 10/325 for a back injury. My doctor gave me a urine test which is degrading enough on it's own, and the test came back positive for a high level of hydromorphone (dilauded). I have never taken anything except for the Norco so why did the test come back as a false positive? I have never been accused of lying before and it was not a good feeling! I have no reason to lie and I want to prove the doctor wrong! Any advise would be greatly appreciated! ## Norco contains hydrocodone, which metabolizes into hydromorphone. This is not a false positive. You really do have hydromorphone in your system. But this is an expected result of taking Norco. Your physician should be aware of this and not penalize you. ## I am going thru the same thing right now.mi take Norco 10/325...
