(certain bacteria are known to transform some opioids to hydromorphone) Was a GCMS test done? I'll keep a tally and post the results, hopefully helping everyone with this problem. ## This is just an update: I stopped taking both the probiotics and Movantik, and had another GCMS urine test, which was (finally!) negative for hydromorphone. So, this shows that either Movantik or the probiotics were the cause of the unexpected resul...
I receive a monthly script for Dilaudid (Hydromorphone) due to Chronic Back pain... Recently I got bit by pitbull & a friend shared some of their medication which I took for a few days till I felt better. She said after 24 hrs it transforms in body into Morphine (so if i take hydromorphone regularly & waited 34-48 hrs Id be fine for my UA if i got one)... So when I got in trouble for having Morphine in my UA I was upset and shocked! The other drug came up as Morphine, now I'm in trouble cause there saying I tested positive for Morphine - but I thought that Hydromorphone was supposed to come up on pee/blood tests as morphine, & never heard of any issues? Are they giving me a different test that shows a difference between morphine and hydromorphone? & I honestly haven...
i just want to ask if what are the possible side effect of cortal sapirin if taken by a pregnant women.? ## Well, contrary to popular belief, it will not cause an abortion. However, if can cause blood thinning, so if a woman suffers a miscarriage, or goes into labor, it does create the risk of hemorrhage, so she needs to let her doctor, or any medical personnel know that she took it. Does this drug cause headaches? ## It contains Tramadol, and Acetaminophen, so yes the FDA does warn that it may cause headaches as a side effect. You may also experience nausea, dizziness, constipation, and dry mouth. Are you on any other medications? Do you normally experience headaches? ## Another thing to consider, and may be a cause of headaches, is that tramadol has SNRI properties. These are anti-depressant effects. They do inhibit the reuptake of serotonin and norepinephrine and that could, also, potentially cause a headache. Considering ultracet has paracetamol in it, an analgesic commonly used to alleviate headaches, I would think that the other effects it has on the brain (mentioned above) are likely to cause headaches. BTW I do realize this question is 10 years old, lol. I j...
Urine testing started June 2016 in my Dr's office. I signed some papers, did not have my glasses, had nurse explain to me what was this? Urine tested, left office with Hydrocodone 7.5. I also take Xanax 1mg x4 daily, for 30 yrs. Also take Ambien 60 mg nightly for sleep. Went back as scheduled 1 month later, nurse took me in a room to tell me I tested positive for Methamphetamine. I sat in shock, as she kept questioning me to tell her, she'd get me help. Asked if I wanted referral to a different dr. I said 'no'. 7 weeks have gone by and I'm so angry, I'd like to talk to the hospital administrator or make some type of complaint. I actually dropped my urine cup in toilette, just put it in door with 2 other cups, none labeled. I don't know what to do. HELP PLEASE...
I took only one 7.5 lortab and was drug tested. Will it show up in my urine? If so, for how long? ## It really depends a lot on what time you took the 7.5 Lortab and afterwards, the length of time you had before your drug test. Lortab has a half-life of roughly 3.8 hours. This means that 3.8 hours after the dose you took, half of the original dose is still present and active in the body. After another 3.8 hours (or 7.6 hours total), half of what was left after the first 3.8 hours is present and active (one-quarter of the original dose). Most pharmacists consider that after three to five "half-lives," close to 90% of the drug has been eliminated and is no longer affecting the body. The maximum wait to achieve five half-lives for Lortab would be: 5 x 3.8 = "19 hours". But ...
Hey all, I was born with dislocated hips and have had more than 10 operations throughout my life since I was born to correct the issue, according to my dr. It was the worst case he has ever seen and my hip bones and joints have fused into my pelvis I can not open my legs at all or spread them I can not run or jump walking is extremely difficult and I get tired fast and my legs are in a lot of pain after 27 years I had enough of it so my bone dr referred me to a pain specialist. Fast forward to three years later now I’m 30 years of age. My only hope is for a complete hip replacement and after being on pain medication for the last 3 years nothing is working anymore. My dr had me on 60mg of oxyContin 3 times a day (180mg daily) and short acting oxycodone twice daily. Now, my question...
I have being taking Ms-Contin and for 16 years plus all my blood work came back excellent! I have being trying Lyrica it seems to not be working as well now and I am taking 4 to 5 pills a day. so how long can the body take it ? I have little constapation and I can work with good days.so my question is this amount going to end my life early or is it the pills work for the pain an I don't get loaded! which is good. Thxs Gene ## how long can you take ms-contin ## It's really entirely up to you and your doctor, there is no set time frame, it all depends on how well it works for you and whether or not it has caused you any problems. If you're blood work has come back good and your doctor sees no reason to worry, then there likely isn't one. Have you talked to them about your ...

Does anyone know what this is? ## The imprint "M MS 30" on a round lavender (purple) pill is identified as Morphine sulfate extended release 30 mg; which is used to relieve severe or agonizing pain and suffering, but also has a high potential for abuse. I currently take nuvigil for my ADD amd the DR thinks I have shift worker disorder and possibly another sleep issue such as sleep apnea. I also take ambien to sleep and percocet plus tramadol for chronic pain disorder. Is there any interactions I should be aware of with taking these medications together.....within the same 24 hr period obviously lol ## The Ambien combined with the Percocet and Tramadol could result in your experiencing more severe side effects, according to FDA warnings, which may include nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, sedation, shallow breathing, respiratory depression. How are you doing while taking them? And did you mean that you are also taking Remeron?

I'm on percocet and diluadid after my 4th lumbar surgery. A family member forever asking for them. I knew how many I had before and after they left. Honestly I didn't see who took it so since they want to steal and leave me in pain I want to catch them and pay back. I ordered myself a locked pill container so can't happen again but really I want to fill my box I use with something OTC. My percocet is big yellow and round. I read that vivvan caffeine pull will work but only thing I know tiny small and white is birth control pill. I really wish exlax would look like it but anything otc I can use to catch him. But nothing harmful like a heart pill, just want to catch and stop them. Yes, looking into camera so can catch him red handed. I'm angry and hurt my own family would ...
There are new-generic 2017 Oxycontin now. My pharmacy filled my script with generic because they thought my Dr. Did not write "no substitution" he did by checking the "no substitution" box so they had to unfill & refill with OP's, not knowing what they are like, I did not want the generic. What do the 80 mg tablets look like? Do they work as well as the OP's? Who is the manufacturer? ## There is no generic Oxycontin currently available on the U.S. market. Generics are only available for the ones that aren't time released. What are the markings on the one the pharmacy provided you with? The FDA warns that this medication carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, constipation, and dry mouth. ## ...
I found plenty of pharmacy that has my pain meds but tell me they can not fill my script because they cant except any knew patients at this time. I don't think it's fare that a pharmacy, can save there pills for there regular patients, should be first come first served, if all pharmacy are telling me that, then how will I ever be a customer, to any pharmacy. Helpless in Rincon, Ga. ## Because it is BS. What they are really saying is that they don't like the way you look. What it is is profiling. They think you look like a druggie so they are feeding you BS. What you do is take a script in to fill that is not a pain med and let them fill that. Then when you get your next pain med script take it back there. If they try to feed you that same BS, tell them to check their records...

I have the above which was prescribed for pain for surgery I had in 2011. Is this drug still safe and effective? ## Hello, Trina! How are you? If it is in a bottle as dispensed by your pharmacy, then it would have expired one year from the date it was dispensed to you. After that, it begins to lose potency and will not work as well. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with? ## This medication was used and there is still half the medication left will the pharmacy take them back and replace them if I pay for it
I tested positive after a U.A. Is it possible while on percoset, morphine, gabapinten, trazadone, and furosimide, that this combination can cause this? The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, mood changes, and weight changes. You haven't experienced any of them? That's amazing! Has anyone else had such a good experience with this? ## No, but then again my dose is rather low— 50 mg. 3 x a day ## I think most of you who are experiencing all the side effects mentioned in this forum would benefit if they lowered...
