Members primarily consist of other stage IV cancer patients, but in some cases, may be the caregiver of a stage IV patient. A little over a month ago, a caregiver launched a blog-like diary of sorts. He states his wife has end-stage, metastasized, breast cancer. His postings started with news his wife had to be hospitalized when she began the dying process and indicating shut-down. However, many of his statements do not sound clinically correct or even possible. For example, after she was admitted to the hospice section of the hospital, he stated she emerged from days of a coma-like state to experience what he called a rally. This rally consisted of engaging in conversation with himself and ho...

Anyone on a double narcotic regimen? Want or need to talk about chronic pain?? ## I'm not on a double narcotic, but I do take Lortab for chronic back pain. I have a hard time finding a Dr. that is sympathetic to my pain. They tell me to take ibuprofen, but if that worked I wouldn't spend money to see a Dr. Any suggestions? ## By the way Fioricet is NOT a narcotic; however, it is listed as a medication that has been known to be abused and/or addictive. ## Yea it certainly is a narcotic, schedule 4, look it up, and it's addictive. Just letting u know, not trying to be rude. You ever heard of barbiturates? Well it's narcotics, and fioricet has it in it. I'm an 11 year opiate addict, on suboxone now, but also take Fioricet, Vyvanse, Klonopin, which are only available if ...

I have had pcod since 2009. I am always having irregular periods also got hypothyroidism. Since the last 3 months I am having little bleeding daily. I consulted with one gynecologist. She had given primolut 10 mg for 5 days, 2 times daily. Nothing happened until the 3rd day. From the 3rd day I started menstruation, with very painful cramps. I could not get up from the pain. At last I took panadol (paracetamol) for 2 days. The pain and cramping is now ok. But the bleeding is increasing with heavy clotted blood (like the size of a lemon). I am really got tired. Need to change my pad every 1-2 hrs. Today is my 4th day. Still I am having heavy bleeding. What I should do? Should I consult my doctor or wait for a week? Thanks. ## HI, Maya! I'm very sorry about the issues that you've b...

I have completed 28 weeks of my pregnancy. I had been advised to take Ecosprin 75 tablet daily after lunch. Is it safe? Can i continue taking it, because on the tablet there is a warning given that it should not be taken during the last trimester? ## Ecosprin contains the active ingredient Aspirin and is generally not recommended during the last trimester of pregnancy, because it acts as a blood thinner. Did you doctor say why they want you to take it and have you spoken to them about your concerns? There may be a reason they have you on it, have you had any history of blood clots or clotting problems? Along with bleeding, you may experience nausea and indigestion. You can read more about it here: If there is any other information I can help you with, please let me know. ## My dad is ta...
Thick round, light yellow pill. Only marks are: P73 ## From what I've sen from other replies about this same pill is that this is a low dose (81 mg) aspirin. ## Small white pill with P73 printed on one side. ## I have read that this is a low dose asprin but there is an odor to the bottle I found and it has no label on it. it smells like vinegar. ## CVS Pharmacy does list this tablet as containing 81mgs of Aspirin, which is the dosage many people use for heart health, and blood thinning. NDC code: 50428-2302 The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, increased risk of bleeding, and stomach irritation. Curious, many medications can have an odd odor, that is not unusual. Was the bottle marked as containing Aspirin, or something else?

I receive generic Percocet from my Primary Care Physician and have been receiving this medication for several years to lessen pain from degenerative disc disease and spinal arthritis in all three areas of the spine. I was also recently informed that I have arthritis in both shoulders and I suspect I probably have it in one or both knees as well. In the past I have signed the pain management contracts with this doctor and at least once every year or two they do a urine test to be sure I am compliant. I understand the contract and the urine screens, but I have a question regarding the contract. When I called for a refill/new prescription today they called back to inform me that I can come in and pick up the prescription but that I have to sign a pain management contract. I know I have sig...

What are the differences between those two? Which one is stronger? M367 or v3601? I know they have the same 10/325 dosage but surely there must be a difference of some sort? If anyone knows, please share your knowledge with me. Thanks. ## Hi Ego, Although both of the pills in question are one in the same drug, the first difference I noticed is that they are manufactured by different companies. Because of this, there may be a slight variation of inactive ingredients; which does have an affect on the bio-availability (absorption) of the medication itself. Both of these are also generic medications. Generic medications are permitted by the FDA to contain up to 20% more or less of the actual active ingredients. This factor, along with different inactive ingredients (binders/fillers) could e...

Does morphine, oxycontin and oxycodone show up the same in a urine test? If not, what shows up as what? ## Any info please.. ## It depends on the type of test being used. There are some that just check for the presence of opiates, but there are also tests that can check for the specific opiate.
