I have been seeing doctors for chronic back problems for years with MRI's etc. I experience routine moderate to severe pain and the only person I have right now to see me quickly and right me prescriptions is my primary care who prefers I go to the specialist and that is what I want. The specialist I have found have been amazingly uncaring and unsympathetic despite ackowledging there are multiple issues. I just saw a neurosurgeon who is referring me to a pain management clinic and I found out it takes 1-2 weeks to see if they will even take your case....absurd and uncompassionate from a pain management facility as far as I'm concerned. Imagine a major flair up......will I have to wait 1-2 weeks to get any relief??? It's ridiculo...
I recieved a prescription, and this is what I recieved in the mail from a veterans affairs pharmacy thru the mail. a white oblong pill with the letter TCL 347. I'm thinking this isn't what I am supposed to get. unless the pill identifier and other medication visual checkers aren't showing it. ## No, that's not Lortab, or the generic. The tablet with the TCL 347 marking contains 500mgs of Acetaminophen, 60mgs of Caffeine and 15mgs of Pyrilamine, this is actually a generic for Midol that's used to relieve the symptoms of PMS and menstruation. I'm willing to take a stab and say that they sent you the wrong medication. I think you should contact them ASAP and let them know. Learn more Midol details here. I'm assuming you'er male from your name, so I don't...
I have been on morphine sulfate long term for chronic intractable pain due to damage after a severe fall. I am on S/S and hence a tight budget, more so because my wife, who is too young to receive S/S for several years, has been ill and unable to work. Also, our 21 year old son has only been able to earn a small amount of money, and lives with us. I need to find companies that might assist me above and beyond the assistance I receive from my state, New Jersey, that still leaves me with a bill of over two hundred dollars a month for my immediate release and extended release Rx's. Any info on how to locate and apply for such programs would be appreciated. ## REQUEST A SWITCH TO METHODONE WHICH IS CHEAP AND LONG ACTING SO YOU NEED NO BREAKTHROUGH MEDS. DR. I was taken to the ER by ambulance this week because I had a seizure and fell, hitting my head on concrete & was unconscious for about 10 min. Luckily I was in our parking lot & someone witnessed the whole event, so I got help right away! When I came to I had no idea where I was (I thought I was in our living room even tho I was actually laying outside in 4in of fresh snow & it was raining). In the ER they told me my urine was positive for methadone & asked me where I got the pill from, told me this is why I had a seizure & could go home. I was speechless!!! Talk about shocked! I've never seen methodone let alone taken it & I've never had a seizure before so I was scared by this event & wanted them to figure out what really caused it! I asked them to ...
I recently was thrown from my horse and have pretty bad pain. My tailbone was broken in three places. I no longer have a script for pain but a friend of mine gave me a couple of pain pills that are different. One says Watson 853 on it and the other looks the same (oblong white) but it has #176 on it. What is the difference? ## Hi Priscilla, I would just like to inform you that not only do you take on a huge risk by taking medication that may not work for you there are federal and state laws that make sharing prescribed medication illegal. I would strongly advise not taking any more medication given to you by anyone. Here is some information on the pills you mentioned. The pills labeled Watson 853 and 176 both contain the active ingredients Acetaminophen and Hydrocodone (325 mg/ 10mg) bu...
What OTC drug or vitamin looks similar to a 10 mg Hydrocodone (it's yellow oval shaped)?? I suspect that someone's been tampering with my prescription. ## You're not going to find anything similar enough to fool anyone that's familiar with the medication, or prescription tablets in general. The color and the way they look means nothing, but they all have unique imprints on them to enable them to be identified, in case of emergency. Thus, no over the counter tablet is going to have the same markings on it. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with? ## Is there ANY medication which has the same shape as Alza 3...
STILL LOOKING FOR ANY NEWS ON WETHER OR NOT THEY'RE WILL BE A LAWSUIT AGAINST PURDUE AND ITS NEW FORMULATION OF OXYCONTIN AND HOW ITS ROTTING PATIENTS TEETH. ## As a point of awareness, the original "OC" version of OxyContin can cause tooth damage. Actually, ANY narcotic can damage the teeth. Heroin, morphine, oxycodone, codeine, hydrocodone - makes no difference. Time release, instant release, injection, suppository - delivery method isn't important either. Any opiate or opioid can cause dry mouth - which can damage teeth. Another often overlooked factor is that these drugs cause sedation and drowsiness: not unusual for someone to take their dose and fall asleep without brushing or flossing teeth. ## I would like to find out if there is any class action lawsuits involvi...
I have taken Anacin for 20 plus years due to my chronic knee pain. I have tried everything out there but can honestly say Anacin works the best for me. I thought it was the aspirin-caffeine combination, but for some reason that ain't all of it. I've tried other aspirin-caffeine tablets by other companies, like Bayer back and body, and even though it is higher in aspirin content it just doesn't work as well as Anacin for me. One very important thing one should know is (and I discovered this the hard way) too much caffeine for too long a time affects your heart's natural pacemaker. It makes your heart beat too slowly. You'll know this when you just don't feel right but can't put a finger on it. Check your heartbeat. Mine would go down to 50 bpm. For an out of s...
I have been treated with Fentanyl Transdermal System. I have gotten in what they call a donut hole and the price is a lot more than any person on Disability could ever afford. Do you have any suggestions? Thanks ## If you find a way to get the patch at a price someone on disability can afford let me know please buy insurance get up my cost from $2.50 to $40.00 and for that increase I would have to go without food or heat which do I choose. ## I'm also in the "donut hole"and I have to say no meds should cost $400 on disablity it's almost impossible, but my pain is so bad I just can't do without. I've had this pain for 17 yrs and I still keep going ## If you have medicare medco has a plan that has generic coverage thru the donut hole. I get my patched for $6 a mont...
I have a round orange pill with 44 218 on one side and nothing on the other side. Is it really an aspirin or is it oxycodone? ## Hi Keke, A round orange pill with 44 218 on one side and blank on the other, is reportedly identified as an 81mg Aspirin (chewable). From what I could tell, both Walgreens and Major Pharmaceuticals market their own version of this pill with the same physical description. I hope this helps! ## This is chewable aspirin - small dose. I recently purchased it and it is made my Major Pharma (a Harvard Drug Company). Sorry to disappoint you!

What is the Om 75 Orange pill compared to cause even though i know that it is a narcotic i want to know what it is like or equal to that i am already familiar with ## This tablet contains 75mgs of Tapentadol, the name brand for it is Nucynta and while it is similar to a narcotic, it actually doesn't act like straight narcotics do. Therefore, if you are familiar with Tramadol, which is a very similar type of medication, it would be closely compared to that, but it is known to be a little more potent. Are there any other questions or comments? ## I found a small oval.orange pill w 75 on one side in my sons stuff, what is it please

Updated in OxycodoneMy Dad is taking Tramadol in place of Darvocet. He took Darvocet for 20 years no side effects, now he is taking Tramadol and is good for pain but his blood pressure is going high and he has arrythmia and terrible depression. I think this pill has problem working with Paxil, Atenolol, Norvasc and Digoxin and should not be given together or adjusted. Why are doctors not aware of this and what else could he or should he be taking? Confused and upset! I f Darvocet cause heart attacks then why could he take it for 20 years without problems and now with Tramadol the safe one he's having all these troubles. ## Well, first of all, no medication is absolutely safe, they all carry risks. Now, the next question is, how long has he been off the Darvocet and did he stop taking it abruptly? Darvo...
i had back surgery last year and i go to pain management. they prescribe me lortab 7.5 and neurontin which i take everyday. i go in once a month and have to take a urine test to prove that i am taking my meds. for the first few months i tested positive for hydrocodone. not anymore. i still take it just like i am supposed to but it doesnt show up in the test. my doctor says the only reason it would not show up is if i wasnt taking it. but i take it everyday. has this ever happened to anyone else? or does anyone know what would cause me to test negative? ## Are you being more active than usual? Have you increased your fluid intake? Have you added any new supplements? Changed your diet? Lost or gained weight? All of those and some others I didn't mention, could have an effect on whethe...
I had been taken hydrocodone 5/500for a year and my doctor tells me that I test Neg. for it. In both blood and urine, why? ## Some people do, it really depends on your metabolism and how fast you process out the medication. Your activity levels and fluid intake can also have an effect, so it may process out faster than it should. Has your doctor given you any ideas about it? ## My husband takes Xanax 1 mg 3 times a day, Adderall 10 mg twice a day, and hydrocodone 7.5, 325. They did urine lab work and the results said that he takes none of these (but he does). He is also battling cancer. ## THE MEDS ARE NO GOOD. THEY ARE USING THE CHEAPEST MADE. ITS NOT SHOWING UP IN MOST I KNOW.
I have been taking Interpharm 10-325 imprint 1:IP from Costco. I recently had them refilled there & recd. Aurobindo 10-325 Mg ! States on the bottle that it is a sub for Norco 10-325 Mg Tab Alle. What is the differance between them ? Wondering if most or all of our drugs are manufactured from other countries such as India or Pakistan. Are these safe to take? The pills from Aurobindo have an imprint of U03. I have Rheumatoid also Osteo Arthiritis & am very concerned about switching as the Norco & Interpharm brand worked well for me ! Also I have read many people that started taking the Aurobindo brand are experiancing unfavorable results regarding pain & many other concerns ! Thank you for caring ! ?? ## Regardless of where a medication is manufactured, it must meet the s...
whte capsule ## This is 150mgs of Pregabalin, a generic for Lyrica. It is an antiseizure medication that is also used to treat certain types of nerve pain. Some of the most common side effects include: dizziness, drowsiness, blurred vision and constipation. ## what is pgn 150 used for and what are the side effects ## I found this pfizer pgn 200 pills in my teens bedroom is he using this to feel high? Are they dangerous? Does the drug effect heart rhythm? ## You FOUND in your son's room. 200 pills? Is this a minor? Were they prescribed? If he has 200 pills, it sounds to me like this is a seller more than anything else. 200 @4 a pill (I have no idea) adds up 800.00. This does not sound right, your post. I hope you took these pills out of your sons room. If he is a user (I am assuming ...

But all images I can find have no such pill that is thick, blue with ms 15...on one side...and M (no square) on the other side ## Hi Don, I think you'll be pleased to know that these are real.
