Is Abbvie still making Vicodin ES 7.5-300 MG tablets? I heard that they had stopped making it. ## I live in Southern California USA. I still have not received any answers to my question. I was told in January by my pharm. that they were not being made anymore. I can not find a Pharm. in my area that sells this med. produced by any company. Please let me know if you have any info. ## I just got told the same thing and also live in SoCal. ## I live outside of SFO. Walgreen's is not carrying it. I will be trying CVS tomorrow. ## Unable to find brand name at this date. Have found Norco XODOL works well for me. ## I was told that the pharmacies can no longer get brand Vicodin because generic was so widely used and they quit making it. You need to just keep trying until you find the right...
Is the round white pill with 54/262 extended release morphine? ## 54/262 is immediate release morphine ## Hello, Sunshine and Andy! How are you? Just to clarify, this tablet is manufactured by Roxane Laboratories and they list it as containing 30mgs of Morphine in a regular release formulation, so it is neither time released, nor instant release. The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Is there anything I can help with? ## Hey this is Sunshine, the reason I was asking about the round white pill with the following, was I have always been use to the small purple 30mg extended release. When I got my prescription they were the small w...
can you stop it immediately or taper off ## Hi Pat, Due to the number of complaints regarding withdrawal symptoms associated with Lyrica, I would highly recommend that you taper off this dangerous drug instead of stopping it abruptly. Usually for drugs like this the safest way to stop taking them is to tapper off them, if possible. Some medications can be taken in fractions (actually cut into pieces) and these smaller pieces can be taken in place of the regular dose for a period of several weeks until the body is no longer dependent upon them. It may also be a good idea to talk to your doctor or pharmacist about writing up a tapering schedule for you on a calendar to give you an idea of how long it might take before you can safely stop taking it. I hope this helps! ## Hi Pat, I have bee...
I've been taking 10mg of oxycodone hcl per day for 2yrs; that down from 30mg 5yrs ago. Last visit to doctor, he wanted a UA. No prob til I was told it was going to be $150!!! I had a few left at home so I walked out. Now I'm out but I have 50mg tramadol. What would be a comparable dose of tramadol to approximately equal oxycodone? ## Hello Teslacoils, Unfortunately only your primary care physician is going to be able to give you accurate medical advise on this kind of situation especially as you have mentioned that you have years of medical history to consider. Self medicating is dangerous and can lead to drug addiction/abuse.
I have a problem of my left arm which is losing its strength. sometimes I feel strong but not long in duration(just a few seconds). A doctor has prescribed Nucleo CMP Forte Capsulas. I need details on this medecine before I start to use it. If anyone can help, please, do it. Thanks ## Nucleo CMP Forte contains: Cytidine 5'-Monophasphate Disodium and Uridine Triphosphate Trisodium. Since it is not used in the U.S., I don't have a lot of information on it, but it is listed as being used to treat neuropathic pain. Does anyone else have any details to add? ## Can anyone help meto find were to by NUCLEO CMP or NUCLEO CMP FORTE pills, by internet, in USA? ## I´ve found it in Hospital Biblica in Costa Rica, where it can be ordered by internet. I rather would like to buy it i...
My mother gets norco 5 mg for her ms. For some reason when she got them this month they say 44 334. I'm concerned my brother stole the actual medication and replaced it with these pills. Are there such norcos that say this? ## First of all, no there is no Norco, or any other prescription medication with such a marking, the 44 following by 3 additional numbers are over the counter medications manufactured by LNK International and they do not manufacture any prescription products. I believe the marking you are looking at is 44 445 and they list it as containing 500mgs of Acetaminophen, which is a generic, or store brand of Tylenol. The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, and headache. Is there anything else I can help with? ## The person that sa...
found a empty old bottle worth any thing ## @westly, An empty bottle is an empty bottle... I'd probably throw it away if I were you. Besides, if there's nothing in it I just don't see why anyone would feel it's worth holding onto, do you? Empirin is another brand of Aspirin, which you can pick up over the counter at any pharmacy, most convenience stores, gas stations and even supermarkets. It's literally everywhere. Do you usually recycle your medicine bottles? If so, I think that's a good thing. They might only give you 5 cents for it though? I wish you the best of luck! ## I have a full unopened bottle stamped professional sample. Picked it up at an auction in a small lot box for 2.00 for everything in the box ## contrary to what you posted, the bottle the gent...
I'm looking for pain doc that will give me what my old doc did which was 30mg oxycodone (5 daily), 2mg xanax (4 daily), 10/325mg norco (6 daily). I live in okc, plz anything will help. ## Hello, Stella! How are you? I'm sorry, but there is no listing of doctors according to what they will or will not prescribe that I can refer to for you. Additionally, due to the new regulations that were put in place this year, you'll most likely need to see 2 different specialists for such medications, one for the pain and the other for the issue requiring Xanax. Why are you no longer seeing your old doctor? ## Tulsa or Muskogee pain management drs...I've had Two neck surgeries among other health issues and moving back home. I take klonopin 3/dy, hydrocodone 10/300 @ 4/day v& soma ...
Looking for a good pain Doctor that will prescribe Oxycodone. Its so hard working two jobs with no insurance, and trying to go to school as well to get my degree. I work for a moving company and install computers all day long. Always in pain Looking for A GOOD PAIN DOCTOR!!! WHO WILL PRESCRIBE OXYCODONE!! PLEASE HELP Preferably in the Northern Virginia AREA!!! ## There is really no way we could possibly have information on what a doctor will prescribe for you. In addition, going in and asking for a specific medication gives a doctor the impression that you are a drug seeker. In these cases, it is always best to let your medical records speak for themselves. In the D.C. Metro area, it is also very hard to find places that will do this, at all. I lived there for awhile and I know first ha...
I have severe joint pain throughout my body. It has been extremely severe these past few months. Unable to drive on bad days. Barely able to walk. Milder attacks allow me to drive and walk w/ a cane due to herniated and broken lower disks. My PM doc has put me on 200mg Nucynta ER 2x daily and 100 mg Nucynta for break through pain. Most recently they put me on 30mg Morphine ER which did not seem any better than Nucynta. Does anyone have any idea why every joint in my body would become so painful as to immobilize me? On bad attacks the Nucynta 200mg ER, 100mg for break through pain and 150mg Lyrica barely make a dent in the pain. Besides weight gain, I now have diabetes as I have been taking Nucynta, Lyrica for over 6 years but the 200mg ER was recently added and I was removed from the Nu...
Can this pain med be Givin to dogs ? ## Hi Jack, Unfortunately I can't seem to find any specific details on a medication by the name of Torbutinic. Did you mean to say "Torbugesic" (butorphanol tartrate)? Torbugesic is widely recognized for veterinary use in treating pain, so I wonder if this could be what you're referring to... From what I've read, it's often used in dogs, as well as cats and horses. Hope this helps to answer your question! ## Torbutinic is when they mix a vitamin supplement with torbutol. The vitamin the use is Pet Tinic, with the torbutol name you get the name torbutinic. My dog has taken it. But the dosages would vary per dog.
I have been taking Hydrocodone 5-325 s, by mallinckrodt for a few years now for back pain , they work really well, I take 2 at a time . My pharmacist switched to Qualitest and it was a nightmare . I took one of those and had a migraine headache the whole day , along with breathing problems, rash , and nausea , bad stuff . I did some research and manufacture does matter . Found a place that has Mallincroft . ## Hi Ilene, Sorry to hear about your experience with the Qualitest version. I'm glad you were able to find a place that has your preferred manufacturer in stock. If I had to make an assumption based on your description, I'd say the binders and fillers could've been the root cause of such side effects. When you switch brand names or manufacturers the drug itself doesn...
Its a white capsule pill one side says pfizer other side PGN 150 ## I found the pill marked Pfizer PGN 150, to be Lyrica (150 mg). Lyrica is an anticonvulsant drug used for neuropathic pain and as an adjunct therapy for partial seizures with or without secondary generalization in adults. You can view a detailed description of the drug, by clicking on the link below... If you have any more questions or comments to add, please post back so I can further assist you. ## do people abuse it to get high? ## What are the effects ## Lyrica 2x daily for Post Shingles PHN on the right side of head above and including the outer ear for past 3 yrs.... infrequent visits to the barber shop seem to be becoming more painful particularly after shampooing.....side effects of Lyrica as noted on this site.....
Any advise on what & how to work with a Pain Maganagement Specialist?? My first vist ever is on Monday. The ER gave me the Hydro-Aceaphetamine 325 and has not done anything, zero, zilch for pain. Crying while trying to fall asleep & while trying to get up in the morning is wearing me thin. I need advise. Please.... ## The pain management specialist will really know how to help you, you won't have to come up with any medications to suggest. They'll know what's successful at treating the pain you are suffering from and how best to work with you to help you. That's why they're considered specialists. Morphine sulfate oral solution..... 100mg per 5ml How much shoud be taken to ease chronic back pain? ## From what I could gather, patients who have not been receiving opioid analgesics should be started on morphine sulfate in the following dosing range: Morphine Sulfate Oral Solution: 10 to 20 mg every 4 hours as needed for pain. "The dose should be titrated based upon the individual patient's response to their initial dose of morphine sulfate. This dose can then be adjusted to an acceptable level of analgesia taking into account the improvement in pain intensity and the tolerability of the morphine by the patient." I know it's not a direct answer but everyone responds to these drugs differently, so it's probably wise to just give it a trial run at a specific dosage ...
I take oxycodone and took one percocet today and have a drug test tomorrow at my pain doctor. Will the test show the difference? ## Percocets are oxycodone! Says so right on my bottle!! ## You'll b fine oxicodone is the same as percoset...... ## How come some people have trouble with this? Failing? ## when it goes to the lab for testing, the lab can tell the chemical difference between the oxycodone and the percocet. ## Well that's my problem... I took 3 Perk's 3 day's b4 getting popped for a UT at my PM 2 week's ago and I'm only supposed to take oxycodone 10 mg every 4 hours plus my fentynal patch 25 mg... I've never done this b4 do it figures this would happen and I only did it bc I wasn't home and didn't have mine on me so my sister in-law gave the...
There are a couple of untrustworthy people that my wife hangs around with who are constantly stealing my percocet 10/325. I am seraching for a decoy that will be useless to them the next time they steal them. I can't find anything from a u.s. pharmacy that will do the trick. Are there any foreign pharmacies or over the counter products who make what i need? ## @Jim, It sounds like your best bet would probably be to get a hidden video camera/recorder set up so you can see and hear exactly who's taking your medicine. Stealing a prescription is a federal offense, so showing evidence to the police should enable them to put a warrant out for this person's arrest. Unfortunately there's no other legitimate pharmaceutical pills that look alike since the markings are so unique he...
I have both pills, m 367 and watson 853, the pharmacy ran out of one so split it with the 853. Anyway I have been taking norco for over 2 years and for some reason neither seem to work for my pain. I am going to talk to my PCP and maybe get a different medication. I went on a few websites and they said one of these norco manufacturers went out of buisness. Thank you for your time ## Hello, Teena! How are you? Both of the tablets you mentioned contain 10mgs of Hydrocodone and 325mgs of Acetaminophen, they are generics for Norco. Learn more Norco details here. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. However, if you've been taking it for that long, there'...
expired in November 2009. Still effective? Toxic? ## HI, Duke! How are you? No, opiates aren't known to become toxic or dangerous once expired, but they do lose effectiveness. After so many years, it is most likely worthless and you should just dispose of it. Is there anything else I can help with? ## Why thank you Verwon. Pain management is a challenge here in Mexico. The latest is that there is no morphine available. Since I have been taking 180 mg daily, down from 300, for many years, finding alternatives is a task. Currently Endocodil, oxycodina, is the solution but it is five times as expensive and not quite as through. I am from Toronto, but living at Lake Chapala in the mountains of southwest Mexico. Where are you writing from? ## Not in my experience I know someone who had 2...
