all i want to no is what does this med have in it i broke my wrist and now i am trying to wing myself off and it is making me sick please let me know thank you annette riggs ## I don't know what dosage you are on, there are several available, but all Lortab and generic equivelents contain Acetaminophen and the narcotic pain reliever Hydrocodone. So that would explain why you have problems stopping it, Hydrocodone, like any narcotic, is very addictive. I would advise speaking to your doctor, they should be able to help you with ways to wean off and alleviate the dependence symptoms that you are experiencing.

Hello, I just read your comments about lyrica. I have peripheral polyneuropathy. This means it effects both sensory and motor nerves and causes both muscle and surface nerve pain. I take cymbalta with lyrica to help with the pain. Ask your doctor if this may help you. ## It appears that you made a new post, rather than a reply to the one you were reading. I always got small bluegreen pills the new ones are pink with a 30 on one side and a 3 on the other ## Well once a medication is available for generic manufacture, it is made by many different companies and each tablet will look different and have a different marking on it. The color, size and shape really means nothing, they are only required to have unique imprints on the pills to identify the manufacturer, drug and dosage. Now that said, I cannot find anything listed in the US prescription drug databases for anything with just a 30 and a 3 on it, are there any other markings? ## Okay, never mind, I figured it out, that is not a 3 on the other side, it is a stylized E, which is the logo that Ethex uses on some of their pills. This is indeed just another Morphine ER 30mgs.

codeine analgesic ## This is a medication that is not available in the U.S. so finding information on it is very difficult. The only thing I have managed to discover is that it is a combination of Diclofenac Sodium 50mgs, which is an anti-inflammatory and Codeine 50mgs, which is a narcotic pain reliever.

was given for pain from my doctor because it was a substitute for lortab? ## This is NOT a substitute for Lortab. Lortab contains Acetaminophen and Hydrocodone. This medication is Tramadol 50mgs, it is listed as a narcotic, because it is derived from an opiate, however, it does not have the same benefits or effects that an opiate does, so it does not work like one. The name brand this is sold under is Ultram. It is not recommended for severe pain treatment. Here's the monograph link with more information:

This is a generc version of the mild narcotic pain killer Darvocet. It contains Propoxyphene 100mgs and 650mgs of Acetaminophen. It is the mildest narcotic you can get, but still a narcotic nonetheless. Therefore it carries the possibility of dangerous side effects and addiction. On top of that, Propoxyphene had been found to be a cardiotoxic agent, so it should never be used without a doctor's approval and supervision. I just started taking Lyrica 3 days ago. Can't wait to see if it works. I have degenerative disc disease and scolisos. Shannon, if you suffer from pain either due to an injury or a chronic condition, this is an excellent medication. It is the best narcotic pain medication you can get. The worst problem with it is the side effects and the fact that it is highly addictive.

White Oblong with 201 on one side ## If the only thing on the tablet is a 201 with no other markings then it is NOT Lorcet, nor any type or narcotic. Is is Naproxen Sodium 375mgs, a generic for Napralan. This is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory, same stuff you find in Aleve, just in a prescription strength.

The TY is used by the manufacturer's of Tylenol on a lot of their over the counter items, but since these are not regulated like prescription drugs are, there is no comprehensive database to identify it.

Sorry. ## Frank, you're right - I checked around for the pill IDs and found the following: 44 183 is in fact Aspirin, I think 325 mg. 54 543 is actually Roxicet - which contains the same active ingredients as Percocet.
