Hey all fellow patients out there, did you know the CDC has published a list of their proposed 2016 guidelines for doctors who prescribe opioids for chronic pain? That includes oxycodone, lortab, percocet, hydrocodone, opana, suboxone, morphine, and any other drug that has an opiate ingredient in it that so many of us count on to lead normal lives! This affects all of us and the comment period ends on January 13 2016! That's about a week from now! i feel so awful that i have to get on here and ask for help. i understand that there are people that get meds and misuse and sell them but im a legit pain patient and i need help getting my meds filled. im from ky but cannot get the help i need. so i legally went to a pain clinic in GA. and i feel like a criminal, people in these pharmacies look at you like your crazy, i just need to know a place i can get my meds filled. id do random pill counts if it would help, im not a dealer just someone in pain, can anyone help me. ## No need to feel awful, you need assistance and it happens to everyone, at once time or another. I have a white round pill with no imprint, scored on one side only. It's from Canada and I was told it was a percocet but I don't think so. Any help would be appreciated. ## In the United States does all medication and pills have to have a number on at least one side.? ## Hello Jerry, I'm not absolutely certain if Canada requires their pills to have imprints on them like the FDA does in the United States but without an imprint on the pill there really is no way to tell you what is inside of the pill. I know a girl who lives here in burke county and she goes to a pain clinic in catawba county. She sells her roxt 10s for extra cash and it makes me mad because when people that need the pain medicine they can't get it, but i****s like her can. How can I turn her in? ## Call the police. Wow, this has become insane. I don't feel the need to rant on all the reasons why i am prescribed what i am, but it's more than legit and not the pharmacies decision if i have a legitimate pain management doctor not under watch and a legit prescription, but again, I've been driving around in major pain and in tears and no one has been rude to me, actually sympathetic, but fact is, i still need my script filled and can't find them. I've had it for 5 days now, it isn't worth it to me to drive all of Jacksonville and into the rurals.. i've tried several other meds to avoid this, but some reason its the only med that responds so well to my fibromyalgia. My husband received a script of Oxycodone 30 mg a few weeks ago from his surgeon and I cannot find a pharmacy to get them filled at. They mostly say they do not carry them or they are on back order. I have called everywhere. Any suggestions? Anyone know a pharmacy that carries it? I purchased AZO in Mexico and was told it was a combination of a sulphur based antibiotics plus pain reliever for UTI. They're the same strength and help me just like the little blue ones. Everyone concerned about them are needle freaks or like to abuse them. I have a friend who misuses them and he is complaining. I tell him to take them and in 15 minutes you will feel the same as me. After I take mine it kicks in within 15 to 20 minutes. Keep ur nose clean and don't make me sick hearing needle problems. Been taking Oxycodone 30mg for 2 years and when I get my script filled I always have 30 to 40 left from the month before. I've been taking very high levels of Oxycodone liquid 10mg/ml strength 60mls daily with oxycodone moderated release 40mg tablets 2 per day for over 5 years, under close supervision from my doctor. I have numerous medical conditions: Gastric Dismotility Syndrome (following Vagotomy & Pyloroplasty for gastric ulcers of unknown cause) chronic pancreatitis and gall stones. I have Chronic Pain, Fibromyalgia, Diabetes #2, Sciatica down both legs, Piriformis Syndrome, L4 L5 S1 Vertabre Fracture x2, Osteoarthritis in my spine, knees, thumbs, feet! Chronic numbness down my right leg, groin area that hurts like hell. I started out taking Darvocet and have worked my way up to Percocet 325/10 for the last 3 years. I was wondering IF Opana would work better? My doctor wanted to put me on Oxycotin, but of course my insurance won't pay for it, not even with a required PA!
