Pain Management Doctor In Florida
(Newest replies first)

I just moved from NYC to the Florida panhandled. I am having a difficult time finding a pain management doctor who will continue the meds I have been on for a broken back, failed spinal fusion. I take oxycondone and soma. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. My other choice is to fly back to NY. Many thanks

Look up Dr. Donald Chipman. Excellent! I believe he has an office in Destin, Fl.
Re: Justin (# 3)
Was wondering if you found a pain doc. in FL. I am moving to the panhandle (Destin) soon from CO. and am anxious about finding a good pain doc. who will prescribe the narcotics I need for chronic severe nerve pain. Also, are you having trouble finding a pharmacy that will fill your Rxs? Thanks.
Can anyone please help me find a primary care dr who will not be afraid of prescribing pain narcotics and adderall for my illnesses in the tampa bay area
There was a Pharmacist that sold quality Soma and operated a store as well. So much has changed in Florida since the massive statewide raids of the pill clinics about 7 years ago
thank you! I've been looking for a place locally for months now!
I know this is older but just in case you're still looking...Dr. David Norfleet in crestview. They take insurance. He has no bedside manner and honestly I don't like him BUT after the first visit you see the NP and she is WONDERFUL! Very caring! The office staff is beyond rude. Be prepared. But DO NOT piss them off! They will get you kicked out! The office manager did it to me ONLY because I called her back when I didn't hear from her for 3 days and it was Friday so I wanted to see if she had an answer for me! She told the doctor I kept calling. Twice is too much? Really? So just be prepared. But if you need your meds and can handle the office staff...go here. Or Jacksonville, Dr. Florez cash only...ya know...
You will probably need to fly back to New York for now. However after a reasonable amount of time your out of state providers might cut you off and tell you to find a Doctor in your area
